Costco Gas in Chandler was remodeled and expanded earlier this year going from 16 to 32 pumps. It's was a drag having to drive to Tempe for a couple month by well worth it in the long run. This expansion will help reduce wait times when busy. There is now a status monitor if there is an available pump for each lane. Very nice! Costco, quantity products at a good price. Wow! Ngl...the new and improved gas station is a dream come true...for adults!! I love that there's 4 gas pumps in each line!! Not sure how it is on a super busy day but I didn't have to wait in line. I just drove up and it was ready to go. The handles are new. And as always the price is right! Significantly improved since remodel. Four pumps at each island. Display light which assists in seeing which, if any pump is open. Four, or is it five islands to flow through. And although they have always had this I think folks need to know, their hose can reach over or around a full size vehicle. So don't be stuck in the mentality that you can only fuel from the side where your gas tank is accessible. Costco has made that a thing of the past. read more

I prefer Costco gas over Sams Club for quality. Yes I have tested it out and I do get more miles out of Costco in my cars. Pricing is better then regular gas stations. It is worth the membership and use your card for the $$ back benefits. read more

I keep track of all gas refills and mileage. After reviewing fill ups at various different stations and comparing mileage I notice Costco fill ups consistently averaged 2 to 3 miles more per gallon and the price was usually a few cents lower. read more

It's Costco. It's gas. It's also cheaper than other gas pumps in the area. What are you waiting for? There isn't usually too much of a wait when I'm filling up here and I haven't had any problems at the pump so far. I can imagine if a lot of cars are exiting the pumps at the same time it might get a little dicey as there aren't really any designated lane lines to go left or right once you exit but I haven't had that problem...yet *knock on wood.* Now if only this Costco offered a car wash like the one in North Scottsdale! read more

Since Yelp features Costco gas and tires and pharmacy, I thought the food court should have it's own entry too. Heck, it's one of the largest pizza chains in the country. Unfortunately, the food court has declined the past few years. Their sparse menu has become more sparse, seeing the demise of their beloved Polish sausage, as well as their supreme pizza. And they claim the onion dispenser was a victim of COVID, even though we know that COVID does not spread on surfaces. No motion to restore the onions. I, like so many, was annoyed when they discontinued the Polish sausage. But look at the menu now. Entree options are the chicken bake, the hotdog (without onions!), cheese pizza, and pepperoni pizza. No supreme pizza. No chicken caesar salad. No brisket. No turkey. Nothing else. Just churros (NOT an entree), and a smoothie or two. It's a vast culinary wasteland where the Costco food court used to stand. Self-inflicted and tragic. I love Costco, but I no longer love their food court. read more

Costco Chandler has really been my primary store for years. Distance from my house to the Tempe location and this one is about the same but I keep coming here as it's "my home store". Best part of coming is that it's on the way to work and the mornings are the best time grab some gas and beat the late afternoon rush. I have a Fry's Grocery card and collect points and despite getting the maximum discount, the prices don't seem to be as consistent to what I'm paying for Premium here a the pump. Gas attendants are friendly and jump in to help when needed. If you have the Costco Membership and Credit Card as one it makes getting started at the pump a lot faster. If not, 2 cards are required, your membership card and then your debit card. Either way, you can get your friend to pay if they with your membership :-) Multiple lanes with people who are and are not patient. The pumps have the extension chords attached so it will reach over or around the car depending on where your car's tank is located. It won't damage your car, but I get that people don't want to be bothered and have to be on a certain side. Especially if your not wanting to risk getting dirty by your car! The only thing I'm not fan of is the entrance into the parking lot that merges with the exit from the gas station. With all the lanes exiting along with the incoming and outgoing parking lot traffic it can be chaotic and now that the apartment complex is partally completed, that entire exit area is just a hub for a fender bender. I think plans are in the works to fix, but doubt it so be careful! read more

I like Costco and I like coming here at 7 am to get gas. The lines as you could imagine are non- existent at this hour. And, the prices are 20-30 cents cheaper than neighboring gas stations in the area! One of these days I'll make it inside, but for now I'll just keep enjoying one of the best deals in Chandler. This Costco is consistently clean, well stocked, and well maintained. The staff members that we've encountered are friendly and willing to help if you need it. Of course there's always a wide variety of items on hand which means I never leave with only what I came for. read more

Every penny counts as you can see the long line at this location. That few cents definitely make a difference in a lot of people. I honestly only pumped here, after I shopped inside the Costco or I'm around the corner and there's no line. Indeed, I try to avoid the long line and it's not because I can be impatient, but it's because I have to be somewhere else and don't have time to wait. I used this fuel religiously for years because of the price. Once I discovered how well my vehicles run on fuel other than COSTCO I have never looked back. It's always grid locked at this location and to me it's not worth saving $0.02. Go somewhere else. read more

A Costco membership generally pays for itself many times within a year. The price of gas at Costco is generally unbearable by any other gas station in the area. It's the only place I get gas now (unless I'm out of the area). One thing to know, there are multiple pumps but it's still possible to wait in line for a while. read more

I LOVE Costco!! My family and I have been members for years. They have GREAT prices on organic fruits, vegetables, meats and treats. We are the goofy type who enjoy trips to Costco. If ever I loose track of hubby I just scan the store for those free sample stations..I am sure to find him patiently awaiting his turn at one of them. Best gas prices in town. Fuel station opens at 6am while the main store opens at 10am so it's convenient. Also, there's a lot of open spots early in the morning. Lot is clean and far away from the store's entrance so pedestrians won't be in your way. read more

The fact is the location in Tempe and the location in Gilbert @ Country Club / Baseline Rd. and this location are all the same distance from my house but I almost always come here. The attendant is very friendly, the prices are good and depending on the time of day there might be a line or there might not be. Regardless, the lines will be much shorter than the lines we deal with when we vacation in So. Cal. Great Prices. Nice Staff. Clean Facility. Never Seen a Broken Pump. "They're big and don't care about the customer!" Yeah yeah, ok, why are you still shopping with them? "Because they're the cheapest". OK but if you care that much, you'd MAKE it a way to shop somewhere else... Anyway, yes, Costco Gas tends to be the cheapest in the area that it's around. As far as this specific location goes, their core infrastructure allows multiple lanes to offer gas to customers like other Costco locations. Uniformity. Consistency.
