They are a crappy little store, but the main portion of my review is the UPS drop off aspect of it. You are supposed to be able to walk in with a prepaid UPS label in a package and just drop it off and go and then he's here or so far then he's here or so far, or any CVS in Chico and all are supposed to allow this luxury. If you ask a CVS employee, especially at this location, where do I drop off my prepaid UPS package they scramble and have no clue what to do and have to ask multiple employees and usually a manager. The one I spoke to was the manager and she had no clue and then she had to go scramble and look around for a scanner gun and I stood there roughly 10 minutes having no clue what her problem was. My assumption was no one had ever come there before to drop off a UPS package. She didn't even know where in the store to place the package. It was a total shit show. So CVS are not places anyone should go with their UPS packages unless you want to watch just a circus of fools trying to operate like a bunch of buffoons. The rest of the store is probably one of these smallest CVS stores I've ever seen with very little stock of anything and everything you could pretty much want is locked up. read more

I had major foot surgery and have been waiting for my pain pills all day. First they were supposed to be ready at 3, then 6, then 7. I mentioned this to the person that answered the phone. Not threatening just informing. She hung up on me. Hope she doesn't ever have to go through this kind of pain in her lifetime. Not happy! read more

The staff here is always so friendly and kind. Cashiers are always helpful and greet everyone as they enter.

Not sure what's happening here at this store but I think because they closed the store at 801 East Avenue, the pharmacy has become overwhelmed and can't keep up with the volume. It's taking them 3 to 4 days+ to fill prescriptions which I think is unacceptable and especially when you're getting low. They provide you a phone number to call to expedite, but I would say all RX's are urgent. Otherwise store is clean and well maintained. But I think I need to find a pharmacy that can fill medications faster since doctors are slow enough getting appointments to get the RX. read more

Possibly the worst pharmacy in America. They leave you on hold for 20 minutes every single time you call. My child takes a medication that requires I talk to a human every month. Finally I couldn't take it any more. They close early and tell you too bad if you've been waiting in line for a half hour while they quite literally take 7 minutes per customer. I have transferred all of my prescriptions out of CVS, they are terrible. read more

I wish I could give negative stars. If you have ADHD and need medication for it- NEVER USE THIS PHARMACY. The pharmacist refused to answer my questions. I asked the woman on the phone twice if I could speak with him, and she would ask him for me and come back to the phone to tell me he would not speak with me on the issue. There is a current factory shortage of the medicine, and after two weeks of trying to fill my medication I just wanted to ask what ADHD medications are not currently in shortage so that I could work with my doctor on which one of those could work for me. I explained this and they still refused to answer my question. I did not want a recommendation for what medicine to take- I wanted to know what options were at all POSSIBLE to pick up. They are apathetic, rude, and don't care that I've been physically sick due to this medication stopping cold turkey. read more

Brought in prescription. Was asked all pertinent information including my birthday. Said it would be 20 minutes. Waited. 50 minutes go by so I decided to check if ready. They can't find it. They ask again my birthday. Can't find it. Ask to spell my name. Can't find it. Asked again my birthday. Can't find it. Finally we start over and find ,after asking atheist 3 times, they had birthday wrong. Said mask was the problem. All other info was correct even phone number. 1 hour 15 minutes later I got my 20 minute prescription. Just sad. read more

I went here with my wife, I was walking with a friend about 10 feet behind her. She walked by two employees stocking shelves they leaned back and watched her walk away and one said something about "hitting that ass". I talked to the shift "supervisor" and he just laughed and didn't apologize. I went back a month later and one of the employees is now a shift "supervisor". read more

Long story short, there was a mix up with my medication being sent to the wrong pharmacy. When I went back later in the day to pick up my medication, it still had not been filled. I was upset because I was going to have oral surgery the next day and needed my medication asap. The woman up front asked the technician in the back where it was in line. The woman in back snarkily replied,"It's FILLED at the other CVS." The woman up front then told me that it was going to take 20 minutes to fill. I was aggravated because I had an appointment to go to as well. I told her, that I was just going to cancel my appointment and go to the other pharmacy seeing that I really needed to get my medication. I turned around to walk out when they paged me over the intercom. The back technician made absolutely no apologies to me and stated that the medication was filled at the other pharmacy and that my medication is just on the bottom of the pile. As, I have worked in a pharmacy before, I know it doesn't take that long to fill a medication especially when there is an obviously upset customer up front. I decided to wait for my medication and cancelled my appointment. What really irked me was that they had so many chances to apologize and say, "I am sorry that this happened. I understand how you feel. Give us a chance to make it right." If they had said that then I wouldn't be so upset. I don't know where they get their training from, but these folks could use some extra customer service training. I work in the medical field, and if I have an upset patient, I try my best to correct it. I felt like just a number to them and have decided to take my prescriptions elsewhere. read more

I've had positive experiences at this CVS. I'm politely greeted, asked if I need help finding anything, and I haven't experienced long waits in line. The reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because they're overpriced; I used the store because it's convenient. read more

So I was coming over to buy a gift card costing 50$, so I bought it. As I left, I peeled the area where it was meant to be stretched leaving it blank and I can't redeem the code. I came back to ask for another card but I was told to contact the company to fix this but I wonder "why can't I just get another one?", so I bought another one wasting another 50$. I went to pick up a prescription and was told the pharmacist was at lunch and wouldn't be back for an hour, and that even though the Rx was approved they couldn't sell it to me. So I left. About an hour later the automated pharmacy recording called and said that my prescription was ready for pickup. So I went back and was told the same thing, except come back in another hour What?! Why did it call?! The live people had no answer. Dang. Wish I got a two hour lunch. read more

I unfortunately can't use the pharmacy because they don't take my insurance, but they are so kind and helpful. I was in tears after having trouble with an different pharmacy and then not helping me with my insurance or being kind. Ariel I think her name was could not have been nicer and more helpful, she gave me information I need and even though don't take my insurance called them for answers to help me! Got the info I was missing and told me where to go who does take my insurance. Even the other girl was looking what they could do to help! Wish more pharmacies where as kind and helpful.
