If you have monthly refills you might be able to save quite a bit of money at Goodson. The pharmacist will take the time to discuss the medication and give you an information sheet. If you don't feel like walking inside, give them a call when you pull in the parking lot and they will bring your meds out to the car. We transferred all of our prescriptions over from a large chain grocery store and now we save money and time. I also like it that they carry old fashioned candy by the piece!

The technician didn't greet me when I arrived for a vaccine, and they loudly shared personal information like date of birth and full names in front of others--something that should have been handled with more privacy. I was called back and forth multiple times due to poor communication, and when I brought this up, Megha became defensive instead of listening. What made it worse was that she tried to bring up a discount her technician gave --as if that excuses her behavior. It's not about money. It's about basic respect and professionalism, which she clearly needs training on. My parents also felt uncomfortable with the way things were handled. I only came to this location because of James, the pharmacy manager, who is always professional and helpful. But because of Megha's behavior, I'm switching to CVS. I hope district management takes action and provides proper customer service training especially around empathy and communication to this pharmacist. I dont know who appointed this lady as pharmacist. She didn't even apologize to me, even though I was polite and respectful. While all the technicians were standing and helping customers, she sat in the chair acting like a big boss. District manager needs to pull the videos and watch and because I contacted CVS to confirm the name of the vaccine, she started talking nonsense about trust while giving vaccines to my parents. This particular location is pretty busy, but it is close to my home. The staff here all are professional, courteous, and super helpful. It is amazing how busy they are, considering that there are a LOT of people that need their medications filled frequently. My parents came back from a trip and both are ill. They had medications called in to the pharmacy and this morning when I called to see if they were ready, the pharmacist on duty today (Asha) acknowledged receiving their scripts, and also the fact that I was personally recognized via my name. I usually come in to the store and interact with the staff, but out of an abundance of caution I used the drive thru to keep everyone safe. They were so lightning fast, after opening up this morning at 10 everything was ready within 30 minutes...which was the promised time- but my mom got a text after 10 minutes saying it was completed. Just fantastic stuff. No one really ever thinks about the need for a pharmacy to be good (essentially they need to be perfect, 100 percent of the time!), and take the time to acknowledge the staff. Only when something goes wrong do people write about it, and that seems pretty unfair. So I want to give a shout out to the folks here at Walgreens, and the staff in the pharmacy specifically. I just wanted to know if I'd been disconnected or if I should call back later in the day. The pharmacist himself rudely schooled me on how long he has to wait on hold transferring other people's medications to his store and that I shouldn't complain about five minutes. I tried to explain I just wondered if I ought to call back later and he kept on. I transferred my prescription to Publix instead as their price and customer service exceeded that of Sawnee Drug. I had high hopes for this mom and pop store but my hopes were massively deflated! Never again.

No more waiting 20 or MORE minutes for it to be filled Walk in, get it filled, and be out in five minutes, if you can keep from talking to the people who work there. But that's hard, because they're so friendly and genuine. Their prices are great too. And don't forget all of the other over the counter medicines and products. They have some of the old time remedies that I haven't seen since I was a child and my grandmother would bring out the "salve" to take care of what ailed me. Liniments, salves, cough drops, you name it. They have a great selection of medical and non-medical products. They also have durable medical equipment to buy or rent. DMEs like knee walkers, wheelchairs, regular walkers, over the bed trays, and even diabetic shoes. Check them out and add them to the list of "go-to" places.

After getting no help from any of the cashiers, I went to the food session to ask another employee if they had a working phone to call Tripple-A, before she could even answer, the black guy came to my direction and told me to stop bothering the workers and that I could not be asking customer to use their phone, something that I never did. I never talk or ask to use anybody's phone, ONLY IF ONE OF THE EMPLOYEES COULD MAKE A SIMPLE CALL TO HELP ME. When I tried to explain that to the black guy, he told me I should leave the store immediately or he would call the cops Well, I did leave the store to never come back. I live I mile from that store and I always filled my tank since that store opened 4 years ago, I also I am a regular buyer of the empanadas, but never again. They lost my business.
