We came here because it has a 4.9 rating with almost 300 reviews. That's a hard feat to achieve, as my fellow Yelpers will agree, so there must be something special going on. The shop is called Tacitas Coffee, so from the name and menu you can assume they're really focused on coffee rather than matcha, even though they offer it. I saw there was a blueberry option, but it was seasonal and no longer available. My choices were lavender, mango, vanilla, campfire, and plain. I chose lavender with vanilla (I like mine on the sweeter side). Before I go further, I need to add some clarity. When I walked in I wanted the blueberry, but they no longer had it. When they told me that, they didn't explain my options or walk me through the menu. I feel like places should ask "Have you been here before?" or "Are you familiar with our menu?" and then actually explain the highlights and help the customer. Anyway, back to the drink. Once my vanilla lavender matcha was made, it was set on the counter with no cold foam. That was a first. I wish they'd noted that they don't use cold foam. Every matcha I've had has had one, so I assumed this would be way off from my usual. I put my straw in, took a sip and was surprised by how it tasted. It could have been a little less sweet, but I did ask for it sweet. I will say that I don't believe that they specialize or focus in matcha's very much. My last critique is the price. My matcha was almost $10 for a 12 oz cup--nearly $1 per ounce. I did enjoy the feel of the store and how it's set up. It feels very inviting and relaxing.

Sweet little coffee shop in Diamond Bar. Go see Sean and the team they are friendly and helpful. Charming place with delicious coffee and egg bites.

Fast and friendly service! Also they were open at 6:30am on a Thursday morning! Chunks of pickled jalapeno peppers in the cream cheese makes for a spicy bolillo! The orange and cinnamon in the amorcita tastes very good. I asked for 1/2 shot of the sweetener as i dont like my lattes sweet.

I recently discovered this small coffee shop off Diamond Bar Blvd after my work moved to Pomona. After missing my exit and devouring to rhe office I drove by this shop and decided to make a quick stop. Lo and behold I found that it is actually just right across from the freeway on ramp and just 1 exit from where I needed to be. The staff here is friendly abd the drink menu is small and unique. I have always ordered the iced Amorcita which is cinnamon, vanilla and orange peel and the drink really has great flavor. I have not tried any additional drinks as of yet but they have several unique options that really set them apart. The place is quite small but has a decent amount of seating inside and out and the prices are right in line with most shops in the area. I am a fan kf this place and will be a regular going forward with at least a couple visits per week. Check them out if you want something a bit unique and are in the area.

Stopped here on my way to an estate sale -- its right off the freeway in Diamond Bar with its own shared parking lot. It was busy for a Saturday with several tables inside and on their outdoor patio. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. I ordered the casa dulce (dulce de leche) latte and a mini concha, and it was very good. Cute and fun neighborhood spot to chill with a cup of coffee.

First timer! Unfortunately this review is long overdue. Ive seen this new business posted many times on my Facebook feed. From what I have read, it is a family/couple owned business not a franchise or chain. ANYWAYS, I like how they had a menu posted right outside before entering. This is helpful considering the size inside is a little smaller than anticipated. At this time, I noticed two (or four and they were just pushed together) tables in their outdoor seating area. The drink I ordered was the Amorcita without the orange peel. Don't ask me why I didn't get the orange peel it just didn't sound appealing to me. I also ordered a bolillo with jalapeño cream cheese. I wasn't really a fan of this only because it tasted exactly how it sounds. Bread and well...you get it. I don't recall my total completely but I do know that it was at least $10 just for the drink and pasty. Obviously on the pricier side but what isn't these days??

Coffee shops used to be harder to find, back when they weren't on every corner and you had to really search for a good one. I hadn't found a spot that gave me that same comforting feeling... until now. Tacitas Coffee is so peaceful and welcoming. The music was at just the right volume, and the space felt well cared for and calming. I think I ended up chatting with the owner, and it was so nice to have an actual conversation with someone while getting my coffee, that kind of connection is rare these days. I got the Dulce latte with oat milk, and my husband had the Americano, both were really good. We also grabbed the BEC croissant, which wasn't quite as fresh as I'd hoped, but honestly, everything else more than made up for it. I'll definitely be back!

My daughter suggested this coffee shop and came from Orange to try their dulce de leche; glad I did!! The place is cozy, and welcoming! They were playing soft background music. We ordered a cold brew- it was really good! You could taste the coffee beans An iced matcha with dulce de leche - it was delicious and not too sweet! A hot matcha- will definitely come back to reorder it. It was good, foamy and not too sweet The service was phenomenal! My daughter twisted a drink, and they knew exactly what she wanted, and accommodated. Very friendly

Great little coffee shop right off the freeway. We were greeted right off the bat and the vibes were inviting. We ordered a dulce de leche latte and a vanilla latte which were both tasty. Although, my husband did mention an interesting aftertaste with his dulce de leche latte but still enjoyed it. We got our breakfast sandwiches as well. Waited less than 5 mins for our entire order to come which was great - would definitely come back!

I wanted to love this place but it was nothing like the other reviews of friendly welcoming workers. My first visit. No greeting from 3 workers that were joking around with their "friends" that were visiting at 830am. I was trying to decide what to get although I've already read the reviews on what I was interested in. The girl just waited for me to say something instead of offering suggestions or reminding me to let her know when I was ready. Finally decided on a Saltara which was more like milk with coffee instead of coffee with milk. I really wanted oat milk but at $1 I refuse to pay that while other places only charge $.50 and it's more often now places don't charge extra for subs. The drink was amazing but if ordered again would ask for less milk or do an extra shot. My drink was also filled to the brim and actually spilled just while trying carry it out. It was not very crowded, several available small tables. Wish they had a drive thru or order online option so I didn't have to bother the workers.

Tacitas Coffee is a coffee shop on North Diamond Bar Blvd. They're located next to Kenya Hair Creations. They serve specialty coffee drinks, other coffee drinks, and some food items. A lot of lavender and matcha stuff going on. I ordered the Buzzn Brew which consists of black cold brew, vanilla syrup, honey, and cream top. This was excellent. Nice balance between the vanilla and cold brew. The cream top added a nice creamy flavor to the bold and strong cold brew. Strong coffee as my heart felt like it catapulted through the roof. Service was fantastic. I was greeted upon entry. Barista was warm and friendly. Was asked if i had any questions and how my day was. Drink was ready within a few minutes. It was nice and cool inside the establishment on a blazing hot day. It was empty at the time I went. There's some tables and a few couches. Cozy and homey vibe with the decor. Restroom was closed. Excellent coffee and wonderful service! Will be back for another visit!

It has been a while since a coffee shop truly wowed me, but Tacita Coffee did exactly that. It is an adorable "hole-in-the-wall" spot that manages to feel just like you're enjoying a cup of coffee in a cozy family home. The atmosphere is incredibly cute, but the service is what really set the tone. The gentlemen working were so kind and patient with us while we took our time reviewing the menu to decide what to order. I ended up getting the "Buzzin Brew," and it was easily the best honey-sweetened latte I've ever had. It had an incredible balance of sweetness and boldness without one overpowering the other. My family also tried the Casa Dolce and the Amorcita, which were great additions to the table. They also had a selection of yummy-looking pastries. I wasn't hungry enough to try them this time, but I am already planning to on my next visit. If you're looking for great coffee and a warm, welcoming vibe, this is the place to be!

Came in here while I waited for my vet up the street to give me X-ray results. They know what they're doing here. Their most popular drink that comes with an orange skin peel was so delicious. I modified it to be less sweet and to have almond milk but the rest of the combination was delicious. They're very friendly and the place seems like a nice place to meet a friend or just get some work done. I really hope this place survives this location since so many businesses before have not.

For the pastries, it looked like a lot of the ones I was hoping from browsing online were not available. I ended up getting the biscoff cheesecake. It was on the sweeter side but it was very good. For the drink, I ended up getting the banana latte. Been on a streak of getting that lately so wanted to compare with other stores. I didn't get a lot of banana in the taste. At least it had an espresso shot for the caffeine fix and did not taste like the artificial banana. Nothing special there and stand out. For the interior, they had a few seating they primarily accommodated a few groups of four and two. I was able to grab a bench seat that had an outlet. However, there wasn't enough space for my laptop and the items I ordered. WiFi was available but it had a 90 minute limit. The store had a moderate noise level and stayed busy throughout the time that I was there. The service on the order was quick and they do bring it out to you. The store also has their own house espresso which was a medium dark roast. American Express is accepted as a payment option here. Overall, it was a decent work spot. If I come back, I'd prefer to try another drink and hope other pastries are available. Would recommend the biscoff cheesecake for those that want something sweet and the house coffee beans for those that like medium roasts.

The drink is super smooth and creamy with really strong jasmine and oolong flavors. And the brown sugar mochi jelly??? Boba WHO? It's soft, chewy, and honestly so much better than boba. The best part is that you can even save your drink for the next day and the mochi jelly stays soft instead of getting hard like boba does. I cannot recommend this specific order enough. There's a reason Torotea has expanded so much! I'm not the biggest fan of the Diamond Bar location purely because of the line, so I'd recommend trying one of their other locations if you don't want to wait as long. You can also order online on weekdays to avoid the line, but there is a small online fee. Also shoutout to whoever designed their shops because they absolutely killed the boho vibes. Super cute inside and the perfect place to wait for your drink. There isn't much of a seating area to chat given the line and large volume of traffic. Overall, as I can't emphasize any further, JASMINE OOLING WITH MOCHI JELLY.

Unfortunately, I left disappointed. One positive is the overall aesthetic. I like the layout and the lighting design, and the globe fixtures give the shop a nice modern look. Unfortunately, when you look closer, the fixtures have visible dust and grime buildup. Some of them are high up, so I understand they aren't easy to clean, but this is where an occasional ladder or professional deep cleaning comes in. The shop has good design bones; it just needs more attention to cleaning and maintenance. The music itself is trendy and current, but it is much too loud for a work-friendly coffee shop, especially because the space is very echoey. I'm including a screenshot of the sound level along with a short video so people can get a sense of it for themselves. I found it basically impossible to concentrate without earplugs or noise-canceling headphones. Seating is also limited and isn't very comfortable. It's mostly hard wooden benches and plastic or metal folding-style chairs. Nothing egregious, but not especially comfortable if you're planning to sit and work for a while. What really started the experience off badly for me was my drink. I ordered an iced matcha for $6.75 and asked if they could do less ice. I was told that if I wanted less ice, the drink would be less full. I said never mind and asked for it to just be filled normally. When I received it, though, my matcha still had noticeably less liquid than my husband's drink. Since they only offer one size for each iced drink, the difference was pretty obvious. We also tipped $1. The matcha itself was just your standard iced matcha -- nothing special -- and definitely didn't feel worth $6.75 to me. My husband's $8 Butterscotch Cream Latte actually tasted good, but after he finished it, we were surprised by how much of the cup was taken up by ice. The photo speaks for itself. Given that I had already been told that requesting less ice would result in a less-full drink, this really diminished the value for me. The bathroom was another big negative. I tend to judge the cleanliness of a business by its restroom, and this one did not give me confidence. The bathroom door and several surrounding surfaces looked like they had not been thoroughly wiped down in quite a while, with visible grime and buildup, and there were also holes in the wall. Even the glass entrance doors had visible smudges and residue. I'm including photos because these things were noticeable and contributed to an overall poorly maintained impression. There were no paper towels available. Instead, an old-looking handwritten sign was taped over the dispenser saying, "Please use the air dryer. Thank you!" I personally avoid hand dryers because of hygiene concerns, so after washing my hands I ended up using toilet paper and a toilet-seat cover so I could open the bathroom door without touching the handle directly. At that point, they might as well remove the paper towel dispenser entirely. Leaving an unused dispenser covered by an aged paper sign just looks lazy and poorly maintained to me, especially in a customer-facing bathroom. Aesthetically, I also wasn't a fan of all the taped-up paper signs. The front entrance has a large paper sign taped directly to the glass saying "PLEASE CLOSE THE DOOR GENTLY. THANK YOU!!!" along with several other smaller notices, and the bathroom has the aged handwritten sign taped over the unused paper towel dispenser. These are small details individually, but together with the visible grime, holes, and neglected surfaces, they made the shop feel more makeshift and poorly maintained than the otherwise nice design deserves. It clearly seems to be a popular spot, and my husband had far fewer complaints and enjoyed his latte. I also think the overall layout and lighting aesthetic have potential. For me, though, the underfilled matcha, ice-heavy drinks, standard-at-best matcha, loud music, limited seating, uncomfortable chairs, and overall cleanliness and maintenance made this a disappointing first visit.
