Dr. Shinmann W. has consistently been going above and beyond to ensure that I properly and promptly receive all of my prescriptions for many years. Last year around this time, I had a bad blood clot in my lower right leg due to a heat stroke. I was in a hospital that released me after a few days. I spoke with the doctor and informed him that the medication that I was receiving from the I.V.'s were starting to help me. Additionally, I told the doctor that the medication that I was taking from my previous prescriptions were not helping me. The doctor dismissed my information and still sent me home. After I left the hospital, I went to your pharmacy to fill my prescriptions. I could hardly stand up due to the pain from the blood clot in my right lower leg. As I was leaning on the shopping cart in clear obvious pain, Dr. Shinmonn noticed me and asked me to walk up to the counter. As I approached the counter, Dr. Shinmonn seen my lower right leg and asked me to raise it slightly so she could get a better look at my leg. My right leg was nearly double the size of my left lower leg due to the excessive swelling. Additionally, my leg was purple at the swollen areas. Dr.Shinmonn noticed how bad my leg was and asked me how much pain I was in. I told her that I can't put any pressure on my right lower leg and I am in extreme pain. Dr. Shinmonn told me to go to the Emergency Room or to my doctor's office now. I drove straight to the Glendora Community Hospital and was promptly admitted. I stayed at this hospital for over two weeks and recovered properly. Dr. Shinmonn's actions contributed greatly to my recovery. Dr. Shinmonn is a good leader who truly cares for her patients and is an asset to CVS and our community! I am forever grateful for Dr. Shinmonn for the care and actions that she provided me with to recover from a very serious and deadly situation. I came here to get my COVID vaccination. It was easy to make an appointment on their website. When I scheduled my first shot, they automatically scheduled me for my second shot. The COVID vaccine offered at this location was Moderna. This CVS is located inside Target. There's plenty of parking and it's super easy to find as the layout for every Target is almost identical. Just enter, turn right and the pharmacy is to your right hand side. Once I arrived, I can check-in via text as well as at the counter. After a short wait, a pharmacist came and gave me the shot. After each shot, I was asked to wait for about 15 minutes just in case I had any bad allergic reaction to the shot. Thankfully, there was none. After the first shot, I was given a vaccination card for proof. I brought the card back for my second shot for them to fill out. Easy peasy. read more

WITHHOLDS LIFE-SAVING MEDICATION DUE TO LAZINESS I have been diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease so newly discovered that only the Mayo clinic and U Penn know how to test for it. It has this former dance teacher suddenly confined to a wheelchair after a long and arduous hospital stay and in nerve and muscle pain 24-7 so intense I have screamed for God to kill me. Stress is the main trigger and will medically kill me. I have had to fight with this pharmacy ever since being discharged, triggering massive panic attacks and pain flares so high I almost pass out. Twice now they have withheld the same life-saving medication from me due to their own laziness. Their response is always, "We can't." Then when I ask them what is needed to get this prescription filled, they finally go check their computer - oh look at this! Just a simple click of the button and it can be filled after all! What a surprise! By this time I am so stressed out that I remain in pain for 24 hours straight after every phone call with CVS Pharmacy. Their laziness is literally creating more lesions on my brain due to the stress of their not doing their ONE JOB - which is to fill prescriptions. This pharmacy needs to train its staff to all behave like the night staff (for some reason the night pharmacists go out of their way to be helpful), because their current behavior is physically contributing to my disease progression. (Lawsuit when I have time...) In the meantime, I'm immediately switching to Walgreens. I cannot afford to jeopardize my health with a pharmacy that will not fill your prescription unless you force them to. I pray these pharmacists who treat me and their clients like this never have to experience someone treating their loved ones this way. But if it did ever happen, perhaps they'd be more keen to do their jobs and help people. read more

She has been very patient to look up my insurance regarding vacation bridge over for refills. She managed to get all of our prescriptions through. Target Pharmacy is now CVS Pharmacy, all target pharmacies were recently bought out by CVS. Regardless of the change of name, their employees and management remains the same as before and this pharmacy has some of the dumbest, snobbiest and most arrogant employees working there. They have declined filling two different of my prescriptions so far in the last couple of months. The first prescription they declined filling was for reasons they cannot disclose to me. They just refuse to fill it but don't want to tell me why. The second time, a totally different prescription, they declined by saying that my doctor's office is too far away. My doctor's office is in Irvine and Laguna Hills, the employee there said they don't take any prescription that's not in the Diamond Bar neighborhood area. She said they will only take places (maximum distance) from Fullerton, Chino Hills, Walnut .. etc. and nothing more. I know that is complete BS because they have filled prescriptions from Pasadena before but now it's suddenly too far ? The reasons they gave me all these times makes absolutely no sense. I only wish I have a twitter account that has a good amount of followers so I can let other people know just how terrible their management system is. I called to ask the photography department a question, the phone was answered both times by Destin, whom left me on hold for so long the first time that I hung up and called back. She had a very flippant attitude and proceeded to put me on hold again. I waited for her colleague to address my query and once again grew tired of waiting. I'm not sure if CVS records their phone calls, but I think they would be surprised to hear the attitude and tone of Destins voice when addressing me. I absolutely love this pharmacy!! My daughter is severely disabled and requires a ton of medications. She is 4 years old and was born with a lot of medical problems. I get my medication from here as well. Everyone who works here goes above and beyond for my daughter. I love the whole staff there and even when new people start working there, they always make sure we are taken care of. Best staff of any Target Pharmacy I've been to. Good, friendly service and usually pretty fast too! Stephanie, one of the pharmacists, is my favorite. Remembers regular customers, seems genuinely helpful and friendly, and has a great smile. Also great at answering questions and helping you locate what ou need. Sorry Lishya H had a bad experience 8/4/2010, the pharmacy tech should have checked if the med was in stock before having her come back, but this seems to be an outlier case. I walked out super satisfied and I only went to check if my prescription was swapped over from my previous pharmacy. While correct, the timing the are completely off I suggest giving them about 1-2 hours from the time they tell you. I was told that my prescription transfer would take about an hour to finish (this was at 2:00 pm) and that they would call me when it's done - I didn't receive a phone call until 7:00 pm(ish). BUT I personally went to go check if my prescription was ready since I was passing by for the day (this was around 5:30 pm) and when I asked, the transfer was done and ready to go. I was greeted by the most friendly pharmacist this was after she recognized that I was in line first when another man was trying to cut in front. She politely told him that she was going to take care of me first and get right to them. I didn't get her name but she was so courteous and very discrete about my prescription making sure no one around us heard, I was genuinely impressed speechless. No one has even taken that kind of discretion with my script before. She had a great smile and attitude that I walked out of Target feeling great! I'm glad I picked my local Target's Pharmacy to fill my needs. :) read more

They said there wouldn't be an additional charge if I got half my prescription now and the other half later since they didn't have all of them in stock... This is the very BEST pharmacy I've ever been to, and throughout my life, I've been to way too many pharmacies to name! One of the pharmacists, Stephanie and all of the team members I have interacted with are all SOOOOOOO incredibly sweet, upbeat, positive, helpful, efficient, and hardworking. Most of the staff members even remember the regular customers by name! They take their time with both regular and non regular customers, go the extra mile to help in ways that they are able to, and on several occasions, they've personally helped me to circumvent several issues when I have had difficulty obtaining a prescription fill or refill. The only reason they are getting 1 star is because I cannot do 0. Do not get prescriptions correct, do not call if they tell you a refill will be ready and they have to order the pills. I have made 6 unnecessary trips there to pick up prescriptions that are not ready. But the best one is today when they filled 2 prescriptions under the wrong doctors name. When I called on this I was told I would have to wait to talk to the manager on Monday, when I said that was unacceptable they put me on hold and then hung up, these prescriptions all involve a minor child who cannot get their medication at school because the doctors name does not match the authorization. read more

While I usually like this pharmacy, they have mistakenly given me the wrong number of pills on two separate occasions now. I was given half less than was stated on the bottle both times. When I went back and showed them, they gave me the ones that were missing. They also stated the prescription mistakes were by two fill-in workers.
