My doctor sent my prescription electronically to this pharmacy (formerly named Via Verde Pharmacy). I realize nearly every pharmacy offers this type of service, but when you arrive you might wait 20 minutes to pick up. But, NOT at Mercy Pharmacy! I called in a refill, within the hour, I received a text message letting me know it was ready. I didn't even know my prescription number when I placed the order, I simply gave my name and phone number. You can also "walk-in" or make an appointment for the flu shot or Covid vaccine. I got mine here and waited less than 10 minutes to be seen. This is also a Hallmark store where you can purchase gifts and choose special occasion cards from the ample collection and supply. There is a mini-postal sub-station here. You can buy stamps and mail letters/packages too. This proved to be a real time saver and the prices are very reasonable. read more

Ladies, I get it, having to be on the phone, or at the register getting your DELICATE ears yelled at by decrepit, almost six feet in the grave, old farts is a test of not jumping over the counter and smashing your fist into the jaw of their mouths, violently removing their dentures. But when someone is being their most sincere to you asks a light hearted question, don't proceed to reveal the ugliness of who you really are. Be professional! It used to be a great place. Then it was sold to a new person. These people don't say hello when you enter, can short you pills, say your prescription will be ready that day and then it's not. They charge more for home delivery and deliver less days during a week. It's just not as good when Rick owned it. The people that go there live nearby so its location makes it easier. If your insurance does not cover and pay your prescription out of pocket , they have no discount at all . Very expensive compared to other pharmacy like CVS , Amazon Pharmacy . Sometimes they never inform you of what the name of prescription in their text message or when it is ready for you. Just missed . The only advantage is I live close to them. My family has been using this pharmacy for close to 30 years. We started using when it was Via Verde Pharmacy under ownership of Rick. He was such a great pharmacist. Using a small neighborhood pharmacy really had its benefits. Rick always got to know customers and would answer your questions honestly. We've tried to give new owners a good try. It takes time to get newly purchased business running smoothly BUT after these last few years we've given up on them. New owner is nice but keeps hiring USELESS staff. We've been shorted prescriptions, have been lied to about availability of prescriptions, and questions ignored or lied to about our coverage. read more

Getting prescription refills is quick and efficient (call and leave a message, you'll get an email/text when they're ready). Getting your COVID/flu shot is simple due to how organized they are. Picked up my last prescription from Via Verde pharmacy today. After 16 years of going there the new owners are not very customer service friendly. They had my daughters Rx, said they would fill it and then told me that it would be extra if I wanted it because the Ins would not cover it all. I told them I was fine with that. Then the new tech in back decided that he did not want to fill it and would send my prescription to another pharmacy. After asking why he basically did not wanting to keep that RX on the shelf. I told him go ahead send it over to the Walgreens as a matter of fact he can just sent the rest of our stuff over there too. He did not care one bit that he was going to lose me as a loyal customer. That place as just gone down hill since they changed owners and let Christine go. FYI Walgreens was great. read more

My mother is 74 and drives, but can't sit for hours so all of the super sites wouldn't work for her. After seeing a post on Nextdoor about Mercy offering the vaccine, I called them and within a couple of days from my call I was able to get her an appointment . You do have to go there to pick up a slip with the info but that wasn't a problem AT ALL. We went yesterday to her appoint and she's now set with her first shot. She has her second shot scheduled already and they did that there for her. We don't have to call and try to schedule the second shot. Every time I come to ship out packages Dalia the postal manger is always such a great help , she is so sweet too!! Always Very helpful and informational. They are super fast and organized when shipping any items I have and I get a tracking number off my receipt which is perfect!! He is super knowledgeable and gives me as much time as I need to be a real partner in helping my daughter live with the physical and mental challenges she has no. What is wrong with Dalia? She is very rude! I called today to ask a question about making an appointment for the COVID vaccine appointmet and before I could finish my sentence, she cut me off and told me I had to wait for the next phase that takes place next month, then hung up on me. She wouldn't even let me finish saying that I was an essential worker and could provide documention from my employer. My mom had also called today and had the same issue with her. She wouldn't even let her make an appointment over the phone and forced her to come into the store to book it. Once she got there, she wouldn't even bother help her make an appointment, let alone even look at her. She acted like she couldn't even be bothered with looking at her. Luckily, someone else was able to help her book the appointment and have her fill out the application. read more
