Today I went there as the designated location for my second Covid booster shot. They took me right on time for my appointment. The general pharmacy staff was friendly. However, of special note, the pharmacist was super friendly and efficient. Although I was already familiar with the potential side effects (since this was my forth Covid related shot) the pharmacist took extra time to explain things and was extremely attentive despite the pharmacy being extremely busy. Overall I was very impressed with the interaction today and I highly recommend this pharmacy.

We had a unique prescription to be filled for some medical equipment and our doctor sent the script to Marra's to be filled. I reached out to them to get set up and they not only had a wide variety of options for the equipment we needed but spoke, extensively, on each of the choices so that Mr and my wife could make a fully informed decision. Not only were they informative but they were exceptionally kind, thoughtful and funny. When I went in to pick up the equipment I was blown away by the selection and the breadth of their pharmacy. Recently I picked up my prescription which has a co-pay listed as $60 and was charged $70, which I questioned. I called the plan, which agreed that was incorrect and called Nassau with the error, and I waited to hear. I didn't, so called today. The Rx wasn't in the Phoenicia pharmacy, and I asked to pick it up in the Tannersville pharmacy; it was done seamlessly. Up in Tannersville I was helped by the pharmacist (Jennifer B, I believe), who was as helpful and kind as I needed. This is the way health care should work. Not a corporate profit point, but a place to get help from a human being who is caring and kind. I'm a believer, and I HIGHLY recommend Well ess Rx.

I peaked in and saw the soda fountain bar and found my brother roaming the street. I said, "Hey! You have to see this, here!" We walked in. My brother bought an ice cream and we sat talking with a friendly guy, Zeke who told us about the store and the town. It's a fascinating history. It's nice to see that the town maintains some history of the town and it hasn't been ousted by the CVS and Walgreens chains. Definitely worth visiting this place just to see this.
