If you try to call them, they have one of the following responses: 1. They don't answer the phone 2. They put you on hold and never pick back up 3. They pick up the phone and hang up immediately 4. Patch you in with another customer who is also on hold (seriously!) 5. They pick up the phone (odds are 1 in 75) On the rare occasion they do pick up the phone, they are often rude. When I calling to find out why my prescription wasn't filled in a week, I was told I recently filled a prescription. When I explained that was a lower, less frequent dose and my doctor wanted me on a much higher dose, I was told, "Well maybe you should call back when you run out then." I relied, "Maybe I'll just take my business somewhere else then." He replied, "Maybe you should" and hung up on me. When I called and (eventually) got a different person to answer, I asked for the manager. She was out and wouldn't be back until the next day. This was a Thursday at 3 pm. My wife has two prescriptions she's been waiting on for six days. When she called, someone answered after 10 minutes of the phone ringing, placed on hold, and after 45 minutes, my wife hung up. Honestly, avoid this place like the plague, especially if you need prescriptions.

We, the Spark drivers at the Sykesville Walmart, would like to report an ongoing issue with the new…read morePickup & Delivery manager. Since she started working at this store, many drivers have experienced the same problem. If an order is not ready, she calls drivers and asks for the pickup code before the order is prepared. After giving the code, we often have to wait 30-40 minutes, but we are not properly compensated for that time. If a driver refuses to give the code until the order is actually ready, our orders are often canceled after about 10 minutes of waiting. It feels like orders are being canceled intentionally to avoid paying drivers for additional wait time. Many of us have heard that the same issue happened when she worked at the Ellicott City (Walmart) store. Since she came to Sykesville, many drivers have been dealing with the same unfair treatment. We respectfully ask store management to investigate this issue and remind the Pickup & Delivery manager to follow Walmart's policies and respect drivers' time. We are independent contractors, but our time is valuable, and we deserve to be treated fairly. We enjoy working with Walmart and want to continue serving customers, but if this situation is not addressed, many drivers may stop accepting orders from this store. He was very condescending to me when he asked if I would rather pay the normal price or $20 as if I already knew the price without being told it. He could have nicely just stated that the coupon wouldn't save me any money because my insurance covered enough of the price, but instead he had to have an attitude with me and treat me like I'm dumb which I did not appreciate. Not everyone knows everything you do about your job and there's no reason to treat customers as if they're stupid for not knowing something. It was extremely unprofessional and could have been handled completely differently.

Safeway sent me a letter telling me I needed to come in for the second shingles vaccine. No mention of restricted times. I work full time. I went in this afternoon to get the shot. Apparently they are incapable of giving different types of shots. I can only come in on Sunday or Monday afternoon because the numerous employees (with no patients) couldn't give me the shot. Then they said I could wait "a year". Definitely not what the letter or CDC protocols say. I will be having my prescription transferred to Walgreens. If the Safeway pharmacy staff is this inept I don't trust them with my health. Walgreens is across the street. A better choice.

I shopped here today. There were so many workers around the self checkout but they were all chit…read morechatting with each other, paying little attention to the customers. I got the wrong item by mistake. The worker acted a little annoyed when I asked for help. she said she would watch my cart while I went back to get the item. I was surprised she didn't offer to start checking out my items. When I returned she was just chatting away with a coworker about plans outside of work. I do shop here frequently but I must say the customer service at the check out is really lacking. I am very satisfied with customer service in other parts of the store.

Pharmacist should lose her license. Refused to fill my post-surgical pain medication because her…read moreiPhone app told her the dose was too high. It wasn't, I'm a physician. Then she lied and said she contacted the prescriber and they didn't call her back. I called the prescriber and they told me he had just gotten off the phone with her and told her she was an idiot who couldn't do basic math and to fill the prescription. I then get a call from the pharmacist telling me she's "using her professional judgment not to fill it," but won't give any details. I explain that this is not allowed by law, if you have specific concerns these need to be explained and documented. This is the exact reason for the Maryland PDMP and you can look up my name and see I haven't had more than 1 oxycodone prescription in 12 months (my last surgery). Still wouldn't budge. So I have to show up at Walmart, in severe pain and bandages bleeding everywhere, to convince this woman that yes I did actually have surgery and I'm not some druggie. Absolutely ridiculous and a disgrace to prescribers and patients alike!

I got out of line and went on over to "Zen Leaf" it's right on Wisteria lane .... About 2 mi away. Bloom has got to be THE most Ghetto dispensary ever. First it was the loud ass music, now it's the attitude of the workers. Just head on over to Zen Leaf.....much more professional.
