Elkton Walgreens pharmacy has literally jerked me around, provided false information on a regular basis and tried to play doctor by deciding if I need the medication or not. All because I told hold I was gonna notify my insurance cause they had made a med error and that they billed my insurance already an didn't get the correct medication on 8/14/26. I recently shopped at this Walmart and purchased several clothing items along with four beauty…read moreproducts. After arriving home, I realized that although the beauty products were listed on my receipt and paid for, they were never placed in my bag at checkout. The store is approximately 30 minutes from my home, so I had to make a one-hour round trip the following day to retrieve items that I had already paid for. When I returned, customer service verified my receipt and instructed me to go back through the store and collect the items again before they could provide them to me. While I appreciate that the store ultimately gave me the merchandise I had purchased, I was disappointed by how the situation was handled. The mistake was not mine, yet I had to spend additional time, gas, and effort to correct it. I politely asked whether any form of customer-service compensation or goodwill gesture could be offered due to the inconvenience, but both customer service and management stated that there was nothing they could do. I also contacted corporate customer service and received the same response. Everyone I spoke with was professional, but I left feeling that my time and inconvenience were not valued. Mistakes happen, and I understand that, but I believe there should be a better way to address situations where customers have to return to the store because of an error during checkout. I hope Walmart will consider improving its customer-service policies for situations like this in the future.

If you are willing to sit inside the pharmacy area every day after placing your order you may be able to get a common prescription like Eliquist filled in 3 - 7 days. Otherwise you may never get it filled. And don't bother to call them. The hold time is generally 20 - 50 minutes and then they are likely to put you back on hold or disconnect you.​
