As a pharmacy-only customer here, I don't understand some of the terrible reviews for this CVS. I find the staff to be courteous and professional, though slammed by volume -- look at mountains of prescriptions behind counter. When it's understaffed, that's not staff's fault -- don't take it out on them. Meds docs have called/wired in are usually ready when I arrive; if I drop of written prescription, they're up front about whether there'll be a wait. Pharmacists have been great when I'm there for shots -- not rushed, make me comfortable, and do the best they can working behind stupid privacy shield. read more

Hi CVS teams, Here's what happened to me today 1:55 pm at 6637 Arlington Blvd, Falls Church, VA 22042, USA store , I was planning to send drop-off item UPS Access Point™ . One of the customer service lady her name is Rosa she was not Cooperative to receive my drop off items she have bad attitude and so rude she refused to tap the barcode on the drop item and she said she doesn't have taping while talking to her to get help she walk away. I know this is out of CVS policies and regulations if she didn't like her job she have to leave rather then degrading customer service values. However I got another customer service team her name is najima she was so nice and excellent , informed and she know how to handle the customer. Ive never been to a CVS that does not have a worker at the desk. I know they can see on camera us standing there for 5-10 minutes. This has happened on multiple occasions. WORST CVS in history now and there was a recent evening I was in need for cash due to my wallet being stolen. Went to my local bank USAA and asked if Apple Pay was available for me to withdraw. The lady refused to help me. Went to the Exxon behind ihop and the clerk was willing to help. The service just sucks this year. I've been attending THIS CVS for 7 years. Never experienced mannerisms like this. Will never go back until they switch out their current workers. They are rude and have i don't care attitudes. WALGREENS ACROSS THE STREET IT IS. I have rated this pharmacy very highly in the past, but not today. They have a terrible policy where they send you a reminder that the prescription is ready which is fine at 5:27 yet they do not tell you they are closing in 20 minutes. So normal person will jump in the car to go pick up the prescription so I go to the drive-in window. There's two people in the window. Didn't even have the courtesy to roll it down to tell us they were closed in the future please list your closing hours if you send somebody a prescription is ready. read more

This is for the Drive Thru Covid testing. You must make an appointment online first. You will receive a confirmation email and text with all the info needed, as well as an instructional video on the testing procedure. When you arrive for the appointment, you go to the drive thru window and the whole process is done from the safety and convenience of your car. They verify your info, give you the test kit, model exactly how to do it, then you close your window & "do your thang" under their watchful supervision. When you are done, you drop your completed kit in a locked drop box and disinfect it with the wipe given to you in your kit. Results take up to 3 days for the lab test, which is more reliable than the rapid test, but my family got their results back in less than 24 hours. Current turnaround is 1-2 days. The girl at the drive thru was very friendly and nice and she did an excellent job of explaining the whole process. Thanks, CVS, for making it easy peasy lemon squeezy! read more

11/14/22 On 11/12/22 I needed to but some personal products at CVS Pharmacy. Upon arriving at this store, I saw one aisle closed off because a tiny dog shit and track the stuff all over the area. Mary and a few other associates were cleaning up the mess. I overheard Mary say she had spent an hour clean up the dog poop of one animal. The spray bottles were used up too. Finding the products I was looking for did not come easy. I think i was very tired a d distracted by all the dog shit tracked around a section of the store. I finally found the Fleet Enema Mineral Oil, but choosing the right Metamucil took some time. The cost was much higher then expected for something that bulks up and harder to drink if you don't drink the stuff in a sufficient amount of time. On the other hand, it should produce good results. I did not find the experience all that great and I did not think my wife would enjoy orange flavor very much. After talking my wife on the phone, we went with a product called Benefiber. A product that is non thicking, has no taste and devolves clear. When checking out, my discounts did not go through. I ended up going back in line and I ran into a woman named Mary. Mary was the primary woman cleaning up the dog poop. She was able to fix the error and do so in a professional manner. Her attitude was pleasant to be around and I thank her for the quick service. Thank Mary for your help with the discounts and overall attitude towards the Retail Experience. I have seldom had to clean up dog poop, but dealing with human waste is another thing all together. Typical CVS pharmacy - woefully, painfully understaffed. This is the company's fault, not necessarily this particular location. It doesn't matter what day or what time you come here. There will be at least half a dozen people or more in line, 2/3 of them claiming with some "problem" with their prescription (again, mostly not the pharmacy's fault). It's okay. On a plus note they have Gaviscon almost always. This is no easy feat, as plenty of GERD in the DC area. The liquid soothes the esophagus. Yes you might pay a bit more here, but sometimes supply and demand exist. This store is really well stocked. Getting in and out of here is unique. You might need a strong anti acid for this too. On a plus note the store is well organized. The employees are helpful and friendly. As expected self checkout is the new thing. That's fine but CVS tends to be a little more than it's competitors. read more

I opened my app to refill the one and only prescription I get each month and there were suddenly 8 prescriptions listed that belong to an entirely different person. I went in person to speak to the pharmacist, Christian, knowing this is PHI and someone may need these filled. He told me there is another person with same name and phone number in NC. He then told me, it is "not his problem", but an IT problem. I explained I would like this other person's legally protected health information removed from my account and he said "they're gone" and proceeded to hand me a print out of yet a THIRD person's health info TO LOOK AT! I was upset at the lack of sincerity/support and left. He then calls me to let me know he fixed the issue. Well - he made my one and only prescription inactive and left someone else's prescriptions on MY account! I now have to find a way to get my prescription. SHAME on you Christian and CVS. As a customer and stock holder I am appauled! Note: THIS IS ILLEGAL. I could go get these prescriptions filled right now. read more

Came here on Saturday 6/22/24. After checking out, I noticed that the livers were wrong on my receipt; so I went back in to get the adjustments. Not only was the cashier was beyond rude; she even accused me of stealing even though I brought her my receipt and the stuff I bought. During the transactions, she repeatedly questioned me about my entire purchase. No amount of training could ever change the way she acted towards me. Her immediate removal is definitely necessary. And yes I have filed a complaint with corporate as well because I will not tolerate racism from a cvs cashier. At the end of her finally fixing the issue, she threw my receipts in the bag and ran off to help the white women at the self checkout (which the cashier also told me not to use so she could switch it off). The funny part is that the woman she ran off to help asked her directly why she treated me like that. It's 2024 and racism is still an issue with CVS. POC's BEWARE!!! read more

The pharmacy drive through is the slowest one I have ever been to. Either it us understaffed or not run properly. It recently took me 30 min to pick up a prescription. When I finally got to the window I had to press the button twice and actually call the store (while I was sitting in my car) to ask them to send someone to the window. read more

I had to pick up an item and she was apparently on the phone with her boss, she said go use the kiosk. She demanded me and other customers to go to the kiosk. Never heard a please out of her. The Manager by the name of Iris was beyond unprofessional, argumentative, and verbally berated me in a dehumanizing manner. When I entered the store, she immediately accosted me over not having a facial covering. When I went to checkout, Iris would not even offer me customer assistance when the self checkout was having an error. She stated: "people like you are the problem", and that she did not want to get infected by me... When I asked for the District Manager's number she ignored me and called the police. Is this really the customer service CVS Managers practice? I will not be returning, and I dissuade anyone from spending their money at this CVS.. read more

They are TERRIBLE!! This is the third time in a row I've had the worst time trying to fill a prescription that I am 100 percent positive the doctor sent in. They confirm the address, phone and drugs etc and yet at CVS they can never find it ! I give name and phone numbers and details . Days go by and still no meds! Nothing but frustration! It's unacceptable! They are incompetent! It should not be this frustrating to get a prescription filled and then so time consuming to try to follow up in order to get the prescription resent to them a second or third time. read more

I have always been a Target fan but after discovering the great deals, I now frequent CVS; however, I try to avoid shopping at this store as much as I can. CVS can be a bit over priced, but if you know how to use coupons and extra care bucks, it beats a lot of other stores. (Yeah, I can extreme coupon on a much smaller scale than those you see on that show!). Besides the sweet, little Asian lady, I've encountered problems with deceptive cashiers. On this recent trip, I was emailed a coupon for $4 off a $20 purchase. I made a purchase of $19.95. I understand it did not meet the threshold so the cashier told me I need to make another $1+ purchase in order to use the coupon. I added a Reeses Pieces for $0.88. Doesn't a Reeses Pieces at $0.88 make it over $20? "No," he said. He told me to get something in addition to that or he will NOT apply the discount. Not that CVS and other similar stores are going to have as much of an impact on Yelp but I thought I'd put in a good review since at least two times, two different cashiers have been SO nice and respectful when entering the store. This is rare- most drugstore cashiers are not this nice (in my experience). In fact, some even are quick to pawn you off on self-checkout i.e. the threat to CVS employee job security. My wife and I are both very impressed with the the extra effort and personal care the Pharmacist and pharmacy personnel have provided us. They have gone out of their way to work with both the doctors offices and insurance companies to work out issues with refills and prescriptions. We greatly appreciate all their efforts and highly recommend this location. read more

The pharmacy at this location is terrible! I've had so many issues in the last year. Half the time they loose my prescription my doctor calls in. They've also not gotten in touch with me twice to tell me they don't carry a specific medicine (which is odd because lots of other pharmacys did). They take forever to help you at the drive through window. And today they gave me a prescription that didn't have the printed instructions from the doctor, it was handwritten and was the wrong dosage! They are obviously understaffed and don't seem to be taking any steps to fix the issues. read more

I will no longer be frequenting this establishment after several bad encounters at this particular location. First incident involved waiting in line for over 10 minutes at the pharmacy and never being served. 3 people were on staff, and not one person was processed at the register over the course of that time (after roughly 15 minutes I left). Second involved being told by the cashier - "No, you're not getting a discount today" after asking for a courtesy card after explaining that my CVS fob was on my car keys which were at the shop, and my phone number was not working with my account (for reasons unknown). No offer for any additional lookup of my account, no offer for a new account, etc. Keep in mind the extracare card account is *free*. read more

Pharmacist don't response you. When you drive by to pick up or drop off the prescription, you have to wait an hours, basically you are being ignored. This is the worst CVS Pharmacy. read more
