Good location. With that being said it can be busy. Yet that is important to their marketing. Recently Walgreens admitted they should probably get law enforcement, more involved in theft cases. That's smart policy and probably their stocks will move upwards again. Walgreens has quite a lot of locations in the DC area Here you'll find a clean and organized store. Very nice pharmacy. Employees are polite and do a good job keeping up with check out. Sometimes the parking lot is a challenge, but that's typical of northern Virginia. If you're in the area, they usually are cheaper than CVS. That alone helps. read more

Love this walgreens until the male pharmacist today yelled at 7:00pm the man behind me couldn't get his medicine because it was now closed. Keep in mind I came in only because they were taking so long with the drive through line. It was extremely unprofessional and rude seeing he could have helped him when he walked up as no one else was there. You never know why someone needs their medicine especially since he was relieved to be in line and make it at 7:00pm just to be yelled it. I now understand why walgreens keep closing. read more

Very clean and newer store that's busy and the parking can be tough even though that lot is pretty large. The staff is really friendly but it's too bad they don't have self-checkout since having to wait in line can be annoying. Never had a prescription filled here so not about the pharmacy. read more

First time experiencing this event as we have brought alcohol before from the store but we had made it to the front to pay but later we were informed that we had to show IDs to everyone who had came in the store. Not only no option to allow the people who are not able to pay by their age to leave the store but need the other person from the group who had left because they have not wanted to pay anything and wanted to go to the car. They had to inform us after waiting in line with the alcohol to later inform us we are not able to purchase it and no other option as they have never informed us about the need for everyone in the group needed to show their ID. It was not pleasant time as the person seemed to be upset from event where someone in my group and fell on the shelf but the manager had apologized for about the late notice on the policy as we have not experienced the extended needed to ID the whole group rather than ID the only person who is able to purchase and holding the alcohol. read more

I am daily client of this location and restocking of the wine is very bad. I have to wait 30 days for my selected wine Yellow Tail cabernet and shiraz was sold out 1 year ago and other store local Giant, safeway, harris T have all time. Walgreens have bad wine selection at the inflated prices. mens, cologne is over priced and a lot of electronic ever priced I am not happy read more

This review is really only for pickup orders. I've had similar run ins with a certain employee mentioned in another review on here and it's the same exact experience! Very slow process of helping you out. He asks you to write your name and phone number and to give him your license... None of this information that he requested is being used to actually locate your package though. He just looks around mindlessly until you awkwardly say something. I would order and pick up at another location if possible. read more

Needed this year's flu shot. Had made two apptmts previously at a competing pharmacy chain. Both attempts were dismal and I finally just left both times in both places. But this Walgreen's did everything right. Received a form to fill out. Showed ID, insurance cards, etc. Zero waiting, zero crowds. Friendly person at desk. Turned form in. Shortly afterward was called in for flu shot. Went well. Was going to leave for home. Checked paperwork first. Had received a $5 certificate. Decided to use it right away. Well-organized set up, sufficient staff at this pharmacy. Almost zero waiting, no crowds. Apptmt could not have been better. read more

This review is for the Walgreens Photo Center at this store. I have used this Photo Center on a number of occasions, the only reason I keep going back is Walgreens prices, especially when they run specials for photo processing and the ease of downloading and sending photos to the store cannot be beat. That is where the positive review ends. When you upload your photos and select store for same day printing, you are given a time, approximately an hour, for when the photos will be ready at the store. Guess what, I have arrived 30 plus minutes after the appointed time and have been told they are not ready, because the clerk operating the photo machine is also waiting on other customers and performing other front end duties. This last visit, the clerk, asked me to wait and said she would print my pictures. Ten minutes later I asked a manager to check on the process, he looked and said they are ready, clerk rang me up, no apologies, not thank you for waiting, nothing. This same scenario has happened at other Walgreens Photo Centers, if you are going to accept online photos and provide a time when they will be ready, then at least have a mechanism for ensuring photos are printed at the time promised. read more

Clean, organized and well lit. Oh, did I say it was very quiet in here to? I came here looking for some cold medicine, but it turns out that this medication is only sold online. The pharmacist looked up the medication I need and informed me that it is online only. This place is close to home and it works for me. read more

Every time I come to this Walgreens I've had a negative experience, and I've had it today. Walgreens in itself is a nice little retail pharmacy store with a decently selection of items, so I'm hesitant to give it one star. I went to pick up an online order today after I have received an email saying that it was ready for pick-up. I looked at the tracking number in the email, and it turns out that the order actually arrived four days ago. So, I'm not sure why I only just received the email today saying that it's ready for pick up today. I could have used the item earlier than today so I'm a little annoyed at the delay in notification. I went to the photo counter as it said to in the email, and was met with stares instead of any sort of "can i help you", so I just stood in line for a cashier. My cashier was an ornery man named Wasti. I have never seen a human being under 90 years old move so slowly. I told him I was there to pick up an online order, and he wordlessly handed me a piece of paper and a pencil, and after i looked at him confusedly, he asked me to write my first and last name. I wrote it down, and then I noticed that he went to the photo area to rifle through packs of photos. I called out to him, telling him that my pick up order was NOT for photos. I told him it was a 10" x 10" box, or possibly bigger, and it is not a photo. He asked to see a picture of my ordered product. I told him it would likely be in a concealed box, but showed him the picture of the product anyway. He then started mindlessly shuffling through random stuff on the back counter, looking at items that were clearly too small. I literally stared at him just moving at a tortoise's pace for three whole minutes (which doesn't sound long, but it is when you're just staring at someone). Then he went back to the photo drawer again! For the third time, I told him it was NOT a photo order. He came back to me and asked me to write down my phone number. He went to go look up my order (not sure why he didn't do that to begin with) and then turned around, glared at me, and indignantly said "you told me it was a photo order!" What the f**k?? I had literally told him three times at that point that it was NOT a photo order. "I never said it was a photo order. In fact, i told you three times that it is a BOX, and it is NOT a photo," i said. He just shook his head at me and kept muttering our loud, "she said photo." Still moving at a snail's pace, he finally finds my box and hands it to me wordlessly. Can I leave, is there anything I have to do to "check out" the order, or what?? Taking his bizarre silence for five seconds to mean I can go, I start to leave, but then he tells me to wait so he can check me out on his computer. This was just a weird, negative experience. Two other employees just watched me/him and didn't offer to help at all, even though there was only one other customer in line and they could clearly see that there was an issue. The last time I came here, I was looking for an ankle and wrist wrap, and the employees had no idea what i was talking about and said they didnt have anything like that. I ended up finding it myself. This store is just from some bizarroland where no one knows anything. read more

I went into the new Walgreens close to me in Falls Church and was treated badly. I went in for toothpaste and no one would help me and when I went to leave, they accused me of stealing. I won't be back. read more

Just go to CVS next door. The customer service is terrible. They messed up my photo order and I had to wait 45 minutes. They didn't even apologize or offer a discount. I told myself not to ever go back, but I just made the same mistake today. I went back to get Halloween candy and when my receipt was crumpled and cut in half by the machine. He said sorry and handed it to me. I asked for a reprinted receipt and they looked like my head was cutoff. Like really you can't provide me with a receipt?!?!. A manger was called and it seemed like she was going to reprint, but after 15 minutes and no sign of the manger I left because the cashier is either unfriendly or doesn't speak good English. The pharmacy drive thru is very slow, even when there isn't a line. Also, call in your refills days in advance because it is never ready when the automated operator says it will be, or when the teller at the window says. It is disappointing to have to wait so long, but Walgreens takes my insurance. read more
