Not the easiest CVS to enter but it is clean with low shelves making it simple to find items. Each section is painted on the wall in huge lettering making it simple to see from anywhere in the store. The pharmacy is busy today but had to bring my elderly mother to get her covid shot - ouch. The staff are very friendly and available for any questions. read more

The moment you walk into this store, the smell is overwhelming--like an entire kindergarten class had been throwing up. It's absolutely unbelievable. On top of that, the pharmacist's representative is rude and unhelpful. She told me to come back later, only for them to then realize they couldn't even fill the order. A week earlier, I had already been there and was sent back to my doctor because she claimed the prescription wasn't her handwriting and demanded a new one. We were in town on February the 11th and had to get a prescription filled. The young black girl in the pharmacy wearing a mask was one of the rudest young ladies we've ever experienced in a CVS. This is a good size CVS at the corner of Federal and Commercial. Behind the big Bank of America building. It's 24 hours for the store, while the pharmacy has selected hours that they are open. I found the store a bit busy and tight, like I could not find the paper goods products right away (most CVS stores have the paper goods towards the back or against the side wall), but I finally found it. Pretty poor pharmacy. Staff is generally a bit on the rude side, whether in person or via phone. A little customer service training would go a long way. Of course, like most pharmacies, they are likely a bit understaffed compared to demand. But that is no reason to be rude and unhelpful. Called today and asked when meds would be ready, and difficult to pin them down to even having them sometime today. And this was after they couldn't find the first set of prescriptions (similar stories in other reviews) that I went to pick up. "They will be done by 4:00" and then literally hung up on me. Pretty sure that when I go pick up meds, there will likely be two sets. read more

Emergency eyebrow pencil required and so we stopped on the way to our dinner meetup for my Mom to get what she needed here. I've never noticed now much makeup and cosmetics they really have in a CVS - the entire wall is covered with it! Easy to find the specific brand she likes and get to the register. Other than a brief "Mom, we're already late" distraction. We were able to pay for it, use her CVS account number and be on our way in less than five minutes from in to out. Nice, friendly and helpful staff. No matter the growl and glare from an angry group of the sickly, I've never been rushed out. Questions are answered thoroughly and I've always felt like the most important person with each pharmacy staff member I've had the pleasure of being assisted by. Lines happen. It's south Florida for the love of Pete. I've waited extended periods of time, and I've been in and out licketysplit. Depends on meds requested and how the script was supplied by the doctor. Perhaps one should look within at times...This CVS is located at one of the busiest intersections in one of the most populous sections of Florida and is also a stone's throw from a hospital. Consider this before complaining about waiting for meds, or bellyaching about waiting for cars to eventuate a line at the first-world convenient drive through. Know before you go. And behave accordingly. Also, time of day should be accounted for. Seems obvious, but some people seem to think everything is fast food, and they are the only people in the world. Mornings before work, and evening-rush hours are sure to jam you up with lines, and as a result, waiting. If you can't hack it, request the offered service of home delivery. Otherwise, lingering on lines and dabbling in delays are frustrations what make up the monster that is a pharmacy trip. Smile, and say thank you. Peace. read more

I have a huge issue with the Pharmacy. I have been trying to call to refill a prescription that their online service says I have to call the Pharmacy to refill. I have tried over three hours to get through an no one ever picks up the phone I even called corporate! This pharmacy is just too busy and understaffed. read more

This are just about the worst CVS Pharmacy location that we go to. The pharmacy techs will normally ignore you as you are standing there, and then some are just miserable that they have to be there. We pulled up to the drive-thru yesterday at 1:26pm, and then noticed that they go to lunch from 1:30pm - 2:00pm. As we were about to drive off, they came on the speaker to say that they would right with us. After a while, they came back on and then brought our son's prescriptions. As I took the bag out of the tray in the drive-thru drawer, and was thanking her & telling her to enjoy her lunch, she pulled the drawer back in & slammed down the cover on her side and rolled down the blind in the window. That was so rude and uncalled for! They just cannot get anyone there who is pleasant. I would rather drive the extra few miles to go to another location. read more

I could give this pharmacy zero start. Today in the afternoon after going to MD-Urgent Care and being diagnosed with Covid-19 I go to the CVS Pharmacy located at 2150 Commercial Blvd in Fort Lauderdale FL 33308. The man who attended me was very kind Mr. VENANSA. When I got home after checked my medications I was surprised to see drug Paxlovid is Exp: 05/2023 I immediately call the pharmacy and the person who answers me by phone was not polite at all. My question is, according to the photos that I show, this medicine has not been approved by the FDA, it is in an experimental form and now they are also going to give it to pharmacies with more than three months of expiration? I have been an RN for over 30 years and cannot give a patient an expired medication I can't no give to the patients expired drugs. This is the new normal to sell expired drugs? The emergency of the pandemic expired, so we are going to give the populations all the expired medications that were not used? The CVS Pharmacy was never able to offer me the medication as they were all expired. And if a patient has an allergic reaction or immediate type of allergic reaction. Who responds to this? Oh, since it's an experimental drug, the consequences don't matter. read more

From a store perspective, this location is fine. From a pharmacy perspective, i find this location to be unprofessional and borderline offensive to patients. They tell you different time that prescriptions will be ready and then they are never ready in time. Also, if you come a day early, they act as if you are trying to get a medication too far ahead of time. We all have lives and medication we rely on to operate. You should not be making patients or people feel bad for needing the medications the take. Very odd. read more

DO NOT PAY EXTRA for the delivery service. After paying the CVS premium for delivery service, which was very convenient, CVS recently changed their same day delivery service. Now you must be home and present or they return the delivery back to the store and you have to pick it up at the store. In the three years I've used and paid extra for this convenience service I've never had to be home for the delivery. You never know when they are going to deliver it but you have to be home waiting. So not seeing any benefit of paying extra just to still have to go to the store to pick it up! read more

The notifications via text are sent, but when I attempt to pick up the medication, it's never ready. On 5/3/2023 at 9 a.m., when attempting to get a prescription filled for penicillin, the pharmacy tech responds, "There's nothing in the system for you." After 5 minutes and verifying that a prescription was transmitted electronically, Stephanie then proceeded to tell me she couldn't fill it because she had no one to fill it until 11; when I asked her if I came back at 11 to fill it, would it be ready then? She advised me that she couldn't tell me when it could be filled. When I asked her if I could transfer it over to another CVS, she couldn't do that either because you required her to do extra work, and she didn't have the time right now. During the interaction, respect and customer service were definitely not shown. It's the worst pharmacy I have ever been to. The customer service is deplorable and the staffs attitude is beyond rude! They don't answer phone calls, they always have a line in the store and the drive thru takes forever to move along. I've even heard an employee saying, to a fellow employee, that a customer "will get her medication when I decide." It's such disgusting behavior and should NEVER be tolerated. THis is the WORST pharmacy ever!. Forget about ever calling. I was holding for OVER an hour and NO ONE ever picks up the phone. The other persons who come ehere for the Rx have told me same thing. Yesterday They LOST my Rx after I was in line for 45 minutes!. "It's here, I just can't find it." Joseph the pharmacist looked at a few bags and then rudely told me to step aside while he attends to his other customers. "we'll call you whenever we find it." A girl working there was stocking shelves and could have helped his looked. There was 12 people waiting in line and she is stalking shelves, helping no one! Partner had surgery today and Dr writes a prescription for Percocet. This CVS is closest to the hospital and 5 minutes from the house. They don't have it in stock and IT IS AGAINST CVS POLICY TO TELLME WHICH BRANCH HAS IT!!!! Spend an hour visiting two more branches and get the same story each place. The aisles are wide and clean. Very convenient location finally opened next to Holy Cross Hospital. Very nice staff. Safe and open 24 hours. It's unfortunate that CVS hires rude hood rats fresh out of tech school. If I could go back to walgreens I would. The only one that is nice is Hannah and some Pharmacists. Cvs pharmacy techs will make you feel like you're bothering them and make you feel unwelcomed and for some reason they get pissed off when I request a syringe when picking up liquid meds for 9 month old baby. Just like this morning, the tech told me that my daughter's meds were put back because i didn't pick them up on time (it's been only 4 days) and didn't bother looking. First and LAST time I will be using a CVS pharmacy. I chose this location because it was literally placed across from my doctors office. From the moment I walked up to counter I was ignored, everything looked like total chaos back there. After about ten to 15 minutes, the pharmacist finally put my meds in. (She didn't even know what one of them was). After getting my meds I left, pissed off but happy I was out of that hell hole. I took one of my meds at night, and one the following morning. I noticed the bottle was way too light so I counted and surprise, they shorted 30 of my pills. I called immediately and they said, "no worries, come in and we will give you the rest." So I go, rushing before work. When I get there they took my bottle and say, "our count is correct so there's nothing we can do." So, WHY DID THEY MAKE ME DRIVE THERE?! They must have someone stealing pills back there. They're extremely rude and unorganized. I hope none of you go there or have to experience. Update: I talked with my doctor. They're investigating the situation and reporting the CVS!!!! If you don't like your job get another one. I work in customer service and I know this is no way to run a place. read more

I'm amazed at how some employees treat customers. I witnessed such rude behavior from a pharmacy employee this evening to a customer that I left and went to Walgreens! The female employee (Angela) was rolling her eyes and banging things around behind the counter after the gentleman asked about his prescription. I heard her say ... God do I love this pharmacy, located on commercial , this CVS has it all. I come regularly for medications, household items, beauty and occasionally food items. I find their prices to be excellent, with always a coupon that can significantly lower a item. Pay attention to your receipts, that's where you'll find the coupon savings attached. I run in and out when I need something quick or use their nifty and convenient drive-through .. I find the store clean, the items stocked nice, the employees helpful and like I mentioned, the prices right:) I find the pharmacy and pharmacist very knowledgeable and always helpful. They've gone out of their way to get something for me, with that, it says so much about their business, they have YOUR best interest in mind and I will continue to support this location. read more

We came here for passport photos. I had to find someone on the floor to help us which was no big deal. He eagerly came right over and began the process. The process was quick and easy. They use an off the shelf digital camera to snap the pics then remove and insert the SD card into their processing machine. They had to sort thru several people's pics that came before us which was a little sketchy but didn't take long. They took 2 pics of each of us, allowed us to select the one of our choice and then cut them to size, 2" x 2". For $12.99 per person, this is quite the racket but I'll admit the process was fast and painless and we were out of there in no time... read more

Avoid! The Pharmacy service is terrible. When my BF was having an issue getting his prescriptions transferred to this location- they weren't getting it done and went so far as to ask him to call the other pharmacy because they were too busy. When he gave them a customer service education- which I witnessed - the Pharmacy Manager called the next day and barred him from returning. Wouldn't listen to his side of what happened. I've fought with them since April to get a life dependent drug refill authorized. My Dr said he did and they kept referring me to my Dr. I had to escalate to corporate Customer Service who forced the Pharmacist to pick up the phone and call my Dr to work it out. They also continue to "forget" to apply my Co pay coupon ($50) from the manufacturer- for a prescription I have filled every month! Why is that so hard? It should not be this hard! I left my prescription at 2 pm and they told me my meds will be ready in 30 minutes. I was in a lot of pain so I decided to give them more time and went home to rest. I came back at 4:30 pm and wanted to pick up my meds through the drive through. The tech asked me for my info, and after few minutes told me my meds aren't ready yet. She told me she will be right back and disappeared. I waited several minutes and decided to ring a bell to see if I should just come back later or wait. No one shows up at the window for few more minutes so I had to go in. The tech that was "helping me" was doing something completely different while there were 4 other employees there. I know you can get busy but you work with sick people, no reason to make it harder on us. I won't be using this store's pharmacy again. read more

The only reason for the 3-star rating is because of the person who gave me my flu shot. I called the pharmacy to verify that I could get a flu shot there and was on hold for 28 minutes before I decided to drive there. This store is close to my home. I stood in line, was checked in for the shot, and filled out the paperwork....all the time I was still holding my phone and still on hold!! I was getting ready for my shot when I finally hung up. I was on hold for 41 minutes without anyone picking up. There was no visible sign of anyone even speaking on the phone in the pharmacy. I'll go back for a shot because of the nice lady who gave me the shot. The rest of my pharmacy needs will go elsewhere. read more
