This pharmacy doesnt treat there customers very well. They ignore them, treat them like they aren't standing there. They losy my script. It was two hrs old and they couldn't find it. They take it on there on to be be the doctor. The doctor wrote out 30 tablets and I'm getting four st a time every two weeks. My doc called and THOUGHT he straightened it out and they have no notes. No communication, running around like chickens with their heads cut off. Very bad pharmacy. Would not waste your time here. Very bad. How can a pharmacy change a doctor's orders? This store is nasty! The windows haven't been cleaned in years. The sidewalk should be power washed. The red tile is so faded. This place is truly neglected, and it's much used and needed. Can't never get a hold of a pharmacist or pharmacy tech. Used their automated system where it said they will call back within 1 hr, they never did. Did this 3 times. My provider couldn't push my prescription because my PCP says they never answered the phone and she also left a voicemail on their automated service for providers. Couldn't use the app because I changed providers so the only info I could use was the old info they had on me. Can't imagine how the elderly community has to go through all this steps to get absolutely nowhere. read more

Regarding the pharmacy, I have had mixed results at this location, occasionally good, frequently bad. I don't bother calling them because they will simply pickup the phone and immediately place it on hold without speaking to you. You will then effectively sit on hold until you are hung up on sometimes. My doctor's office has confirmed they've ordered a prescription but CVS claims they don't have it, not always but often enough (I believe my doctor's office). And sitting in line in the drive thru can be excruciating if there is more than a couple of cars in line. I'd like to think they are understaffed but I have occasionally observed employees checking their phones (a while back to be fair) I assume checking social media while we sit in line waiting. I stopped going inside due to having to run the panhandling gauntlet outside. This may no longer be as much an issue but I still avoid going inside. I don't doubt there are or have been good employees here but I've just had too many issues at this location over the years. I suspect working in a pharmacy can be monotonous but it's definitely one of the places you want people to be alert and on their toes for their customers. I'd like to see them do better and be successful. I'm going to be generous and give them three stars. These kinds of issues I generally chalk up to management problems, but I also notice a less attentive workforce generally these days too. read more

If a negative star was an option it would be given. I had an Rx sent to this location by the Dr. and they did not have it in stock. I was told that they could fill it with a generic at $700.00 (I have insurance). I asked if any other CVS had it in stock/available and was told they did not know. Mind you, I live less than 4 miles from this location. I had to call around on my own and found a location in Grand Prairie within a Target that was able to fill the Rx. My husband has "specialty medication" and I cannot tell you the # of times they have dropped the ball. For those individuals that need medication to live (transplant patients in particular) CVS in my opinion is not sensitive to that need. I wish our plan would switch back to Walgreens. They are regularly out of stock of your prescription. They often tell you they've done something to transfer your prescription to a location when they haven't. They send you elsewhere, and you delay several hours because you know they suck so hard, only to find they haven't done it when they told you to your face they already did the transfer. Or if another one sends you here because they're out of your prescription, they will tell you they didn't get it. The place just tells you again and again how they can't fill it, without ever offering solutions. I don't care what they can't do, they need to tell you how they're going to solve it. Not just, "Sorry, you're screwed." Some of these elderly people might die without their life saving prescriptions, but they don't offer solutions. They just tell you to wait half a week or more for it to be delivered or lie to your face they transferred it to a location that had it. Also, you might get there and there's only one car in front of you at the drive thru, but they still take 45 minutes to get to you, and most of the time there are many cars. Should you get a series of texts telling you your prescription is filled, you go there and it's never filled and they don't know what you're talking about. When they tell you to come back in 30 minutes, plan for an hour. Though you could come back only to find they didn't even fill it and aren't going to for some asinine reason or other that's got everything to do with their failures and nothing to do with you. They just wasted even more of your time to tell you they can't do it. Don't expect them to ever answer the phone. They don't. They won't. Don't bother, it's just a waste of time. Plan for 90 minutes lunch closures during the day when they're supposed to be open, because they are so useless they can't stagger their lunches to help the customer and the time they're supposed to reopen, they don't because they make you wait yet another 15 minutes. Bring something to eat and something to read. You won't be going anywhere fast. Prepare to spend the afternoon, and then when you get to the window, they don't have it and want you to wait or tell you the insurance doesn't cover it and the out of pocket cost is $500, even though Albertsons will fill the exact same prescription for $13. Better yet, find a far better pharmacy. They're the worst. read more

Not too much I can say except that this particular store and in its location is very convenient for all the needs you have. Whether you're picking up a prescription, getting something last minute and like Halloween candy, and or getting pics developed, CVS is always there. Overall the employees are nice and if one of the register lines get long they are quick to open the 2nd one. read more

If I could give this location NO stars I would, so I'll give it one star. Many years ago this was our pharmacy of choice but the service was so bad we moved over to a Walgreens in Arlington. We swore never to go back again. Recently I had a change in my Part D Medicare drug coverage and CVS is the preferred pharmacy on my drug plan. I had 5 scrips at Walgreens I needed to refill under the new program. We went to CVS and the pharmacy tech took down all the information and said she would give it to the pharmacist for the transfer the next day. Three or four days later we hadn't heard anything so we ran by and the pharmacist didn't know anything about the transfer or the tech taking down the information. Frustrated, we decided to go to another CSV in Arlington for the transfer. The scripts were promptly refilled in one day. Warning, stay away from this location, they will never change. read more

Recently my husband's Medicare Part D insurance changed and CVS is now the preferred pharmacy that we need to use for optimal pricing. Many years ago we used this location as our preferred pharmacy since it was so close to our home on the east side of Ft. Worth. Service was always lacking. We'd setup appointments for vaccinations and sometimes wait close to an hour. Prescriptions were seldom ready when promised, just all around bad customer service. For the past few years we did change to another pharmacy change and have been very happy with the service we've received. With the change of Medicare Part D we decided to give the Meadowbrook location another try. Surely something had changed over the past few years. My husband had 5 scripts that needed to be transferred from our current pharmacy. I went inside, the tech was cordial, and took down all the information needed to make the transfer along with the new insurance information. We waited for 4 days and never heard anything or was notified the refills were ready to be picked up. I went by the store to see what the hold up was and found that the tech had lost or never turned in the transfer to the pharmacist, a total failure on the part of this location. Lesson learned, the service at this location hasn't changed. read more

This particular CVS is located in the hood and has a pretty good selection of natural hair products. I dropped by a couple of times to check out their clearance items while searching for some new deep conditioners and hair masks. To my surprise, they had quite a few of both products in stock. In terms of natural hair products, this store is a hidden gem. I can't speak for the pharmacy side. Based on the overall rating, I would assume that the pharmacy is terrible. So if you are on this side of town and you are in search of natural hair products that may be on sale, check CVS before going to the other beauty supply stores down the block. Been calling since 8 o'clock this morning before my surgery was on hold for literally 1 hour and still no answer not even can you hold please. After my surgery I told the surgeon to call and he was on hold for over hour and half and still no answer. When I get up here the pharmacist tells me to have my doctor to call for Authorization not to mention the medication was sent in 2 days before my surgery CVS should have been done that. So I called my doctor myself and he said it doesn't need authorization from him it's the insurance so I called the insurance and they approved it already so when I tell the pharmacist that she said it want go through. So called the insurance company back and put it on speaker so she could tell the pharmacist that it has already been approved and when she heard it from her mouth they tell me and the insurance lady okay we got it now. If you are in dying need for your medication DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT COME HERE YOU MIGHT ACTUALLY JUST DIE IN THIS CVS VERY Unacceptable and unprofessional somebody needs to reach me as soon as possible I also have video of the outrageous and filthy bathroom as well. read more

The location of this CVS is the main reason I come here. Unfortunately the pharmacy is usually slow. I mean REALLY slow. Whenever dropping off a script I'm usually asked if I can come back in 2+ hours. I waited in the drive THRU and clocked it taking 15-20 min to get one car taken care of. Staff is friendly and usually always working but only one or sometimes two techs trying to work the inside and one outside. Not good service for a customer who is already feeling under the weather and have to wait such a long time. Makes me wonder if Walmart or a Walgreen's might be a better option even if it's farther away. read more

I use the CVS app to check the status of my prescriptions and to facilitate refills. Using the app has helped me make sure that my order is ready. The lines do get long here for the pharmacy drive-thru, but most pharmacies have that in common. I haven't had an extraordinary experience here, it's just been normal. They've met my expectations. My favorite feature of the app is when I place curbside orders to pick up in an hour, then I don't have to go inside, and the app just alerts them of my arrival, so they run out with the merchandise. This is really convenient for me, so I'll be continuing to visit this location. read more

This pharmacy is the most unorganized that I've been to since living in Texas. They have previously given me the wrong medicine, my doctor Sent in a prescription for extended release and they gave me immediate release which is a completely different pill. Had I taken the pill I would have been sick. My body can't handle immediate release of the said medicine. On another day, I called into the pharmacy and they hung up on me. I called back and was on hold for 30 mins with no one coming to the phone. Which was enough time for me to drive to the store. Upon getting to the store, I spoke with the pharmacist. My doctor had sent in my prescription 5 days prior and the pharmacy held my prescription and did not contact me with an update or anything on my medicine. When I asked about this the pharmacist stated that they were out of the medicine and they had to order it. No one let me know! So we are currently into the new year and now my current insurance won't process my medicine because the pharmacy held my prescription for the said 5 days. I tried to give the pharmacist my new insurance information and he looked at the paper and would not take it from my hand. Instead he laughed In my face and said I already have that. Cant keep anything straight and rudest people I have ever seen. Don't try calling they just pick up every 20 minutes or so and clear the lines. This CVS Pharmacy is the absolute worse. They have the worse attitude attitudes and non-willing to help their customers. Each time that I have used the drive thru, I have waited at least 30 minutes before I got to the window. Then you have to wait an additional 10 before someone even helps you. Today I was very shocked. I called two of my prescriptions in over a week ago and I pulled up, waited 30 minutes to get to the window, then told them my name and DOB to find out they only had one filled. No biggie so I began to ask why and then she said that I only called in one. I told her no I had called in two and she looked again and said "Oh yeah sorry, it'll take some time to fill that one since we didn't see it." I told her that I had called these two in together over a week ago and that they needed to be filled because I was out. Then asked me to pull around and come back through the line, waiting another 30 minutes, I told her no and she proceeded to get the pharmacists to come tell me to pull around, come into the store, or he was going to call the cops. My husband called his doctor to get a refill. The doctors log showed it was faxed yesterday. He went in to pick it up today and was told to come back in 2 hours. When he went back, they only gave him enough to get through the weekend. He was told by pharmacy staff if it was faxed, it was probably lost. I called back to speak to the pharmacist. She told me my husband lied and that was not the way the conversation went. Great way to retain customers! NOT! This pharmacy is inept. We are taking our business back to Walgreens. read more
