Had appt with doctor yesterday who told me she'd prescribe 2 things for me. Went to pick it up and they only gave me 1 thing. I thought the doctor just didn't fill it. Turns out cvs was supposed to give it to me and marked that I had picked it up so now my insurance company has to deal with them about the meds I never got. Sometimes you go to CVS for picking up something remotely different than prescriptions. Yet, when your Volkswagen indicates that you need to replace a dying battery in the key fob, it is a remedy only the car can be excited about. Yeah those cell batteries are $8.99 a pack (2 in a pack)... but lucky me this CVS has a good sale on what I need. Buy a pack and get the second pack for a dollar more. Who could resist that promotion. The kind lady behind the counter must unlock the packages. Not a problem and we are happy finding the exact battery at CVS and get a supply that will last us for years. read more

I bought a lot of coffee here being coffee day and the price was half. I was glad for the selection and the purchase was fast and easy. The place is pretty clean too. I even found that machine that measures your feet sole so you can get a specific number. This helps to know because not every cvs has it. read more

Very small but very efficient pharmacy staff is nice and helpful. There's never a long line like other cvs. They also have a drive thru.

It's a CVS, I don't see a reason why it's a low score. Friendly staff, moderate lines for the pharmacy. But friendly people you meet in line. The vaccination area could be cleaner, neater, and tidier as they have boxes all over. No one standing outside to solicit anything. read more

Amber was very unwelcoming. I was the only person in the store. She was unpacking something as I was walked by. I said hello to get her attention and let her know I was ready to check out. No hello in return but..."you can use the self check out." Because I had alcohol I let her know I was not able to. So she came over to the register and let out a big huff as if I was disturbing her. Not even a thank you after the transaction. Maybe she had a long day, or has personal issues. But also working in customer service i know these issues need to be left at the door. Customers need to be treated nicely. I know there are nicer employees at this location. But she is really bringing them all down. read more

I do not recommend this pharmacy. I was in line to purchase cold medicine before they closed. Two people were ahead of me and at 8 o'clock the pharmacist/teller said I would not be helped since they close at 8. Very unprofessional. read more

I've been going here for a couple of years. I always use the drive thru, I've never been inside, as I have a disability. They screwed things up a couple of times, but they were minor and they all do that once in a while. My only real complaint is that I gathered all my outdated Rx, which they always tell you to discard at the pharmacy, don't just toss or flush them. I asked them to take them and discard for me, and they refused. They said I'd have to bring them inside, but I don't go inside, so I don't know what to do with them. read more

I pray to God l never step foot in this CVS again. The telephone tree makes it impossible to speak with a person. You must leave a voice mail which is NEVER returned. My PCP phoned in 3 prescriptions. For two days this pharmacy had no record of the medical. I found a better pharmacy but needed to cancel what CVS had on file (even tho they had no record). Vinvian pharmacist refused to answer normal question about side effects and kept repeating the same answer over and over...I had to get it from someone else on my next visit who was also shocked about her behavior. Also a lot of complaining about customers and she tried playing psychic that I already know everything instead of asking. I picked up 10 medications that day. read more

After going to 3 other Pharmacies with No results I went to CVS. I was looking to get the COVID-19 and Flu Shots. I was looking for Community pharmacies (in VA's network). The other pharmacies are on that list that I went to and provided no help whatsoever after wasting 1/2 a day or better. I met Vina at CVS. She knew what she was doing and the process was easy and very quick. I would recommend CVS to all veterans!!! read more

Adding a review to counter the negative. This is my local Pharmacy and have been going here since they opened. It's on par with all good pharmacies. The store is clean inside,it's well stocked, photo printing works, has a drive thru pharmacy, and staff is friendly. My only major complaint is the trash that customer leave in the parking lot. This store need to do a better job of cleaning outside if it is their responsibility. read more

Always messes up my dad's prescription medicine. The staff is SO. RUDE. So incredible rude. They always are missing something from our family's prescriptions or end up overdoing it and having too much - which WE have to end up paying for. They don't text you to tell if the prescription is ready, and even if it is ready; it takes HOURS HOURS HOURS to be ready. Staff is SO RUDE. Even the Vietnamese workers are rude to my Vietnamese mom. She doesn't fully understand english sometimes, and when I was with her for one pickup, the Vietnamese workers spoke so condescendingly to my mom. Because she didn't understand English that well. I was prepared to translate, but the staff immediately speaks lowly to my mom. Such poor service. read more

I'd give it a negative score if it were possible. This pharmacy opens late, and whenever I need to pickup a prescription, it's never ready. They have 2 open drive thru lanes but when I went to the outer lane, I was asked to move to the other lane because the outer lane was supposedly an "express lane" event hough there's no sign to that effect. No point in complaining either because they just cut you off and talk over you. Absolutely horrible. read more

This place has deteriorated big time, in terms of quality of service. They've remodeled the place, and it looks great...but when they drop the ball continuously on filling your prescriptions, you really won't care. That nice, new carpeting can go to hell. The pharmacy is atrocious. Extremely rude employees, very rude pharmacist who's condensing and is doesn't want to be bothered to assist at all, This location is always out of medications, they change the brand of medication without your approval, the phone is NEVER answered, I've watched it ring for over 30 minutes and everyone is just ignoring it, just save yourself the headache and go to the Westminster Mall location, they VERY friendly and will always answer the phone within 5 rings max. Leaving this location which doesn't even deserve one star to the the mall which deserves more than 5, don't waste your time at Goldenwest. They honestly couldn't care less. read more

my dear friend has went here everyday in hopes of finding a specific item and she was not helped out . She was told they didn't have them and to keep coming in to check which she did. One day she came and she seen a lady purchasing that specific item and she asked where she found it, she claimed it was on a shelf. Which was a lie. She asked the workers if they had another and they said they didn't she then said she seen someone purchasing it. Then they changed there narrative. The worker then brought her one claiming it was the last one in a very rude way .. the worker claimed it was the managers fault . That's a very shady manager. I came to cvs store to shot COVID-19 vaccine 3rd dose . The woman ask me " are u compromise ?" I didn't understand this word and another woman translated Vietnamese means " weak antibody". They told me if I said "yes" they do it . And No they not do it. After that I said yes . They shot me . They said No need any paper from doctor. The next day I took my wife to shot vaccine 19 3rd dose . The women who talk with us . Her name is Hong and another woman who is her name Diana told me . The shot vaccine required the paper doctor . Still more bad experiences at this CVS. Called them to have them mail me my medication and they answered and said I have to hold. 25 minutes in, they hung up on me. I called back, spoke to someone and they said I had to hold. They had me on hold for over 55 minutes and hung up on me again. Called a third time, when they asked me to hold, I said I can't because I tried doing that just now and I got hung up on twice. She said sorry but I still had to hold. After another over 25 minutes, I was hung up on again. I was fuming at this point. I called again but requested the front of the store manager. I think her name was Shay (?). I explained my experience to her and what I needed and she said she will give my information to the pharmacy and I asked them to please have the pharmacy call me. I waited and waited and at 7:30 pm, I ended having to call the pharmacy again. I told her about the calls I made, that I gave my info to the store manager to give to the pharmacy and what I needed and she said she didn't know anything about it. She looked it up and said my medication was set to be mailed to me. Jeez! They all sure dropped the ball. Really crappy service all around. So much for customer service. Horrible staff and lazy! This place is the worst of the worst. They take hours to fill a prescription and ate so rude about it.

I've called 2xs. 1st, they just never answered. 2nd, she put the receiver down on the counter and I heard her being rude to one person and helping other patrons while I sat waiting on the counter I came to the reviews and well ill stick with Walgreens. My review is for the corona virus drive thru testing only.. I made an appointment online for Covid test because I had a fever and cold symptoms. They had appointments next day and insurance covers it like a prescription. When I got to the drive thru, there was a lane for testing and a lane for meds. I had 1 car in front of me and waited maybe 5mins. The girl at the window verified my info and give me a test kit through the drawer. She called me on my cell and walked me through the nasal swabbing. Then left it in a specimen container next to the window. I was in and out within 15mins. And got my results back the next evening through mychart online, even though it says 2-4 days. This was my first time testing since the madness started back in March. This review is for the store manager that helped me out. I ordered a photo book online and they had next day pick up available. There was a little hiccup in the beginning because they didn't have the right material to complete the order. After a phone call from them I wasn't to happy to hear that they couldn't complete the order. I stressed the frustration and somehow she was able to pull it off by driving around town to the other stores to get the material to bind the inserts. I do see the numerous negative reviews but perhaps there a shift in management. Give them a try! read more

Avoid the place at all cost. Worst customer service ever. Lines are long and the pharmacy always puts you on hold for 20+ mins. Do your self a favor and take your prescriptions else where!! read more
