Best CVS pharmacy in town. Pharmacy manager Yen is very friendly and helpful. I got my prescription filled within 15min and she explained throughoutly about my medication. I will definitely come back to this pharmacy. read more

I used to really like this pharmacy because the employees were very efficient and friendly and helpful (particularly Michelle, who I believe is the main pharmacist now). However, over the past 3-4 months I have noticed a change in the level and quality of customer service I have received (for the worse). I so wish it wasn't the case and maybe it's because the pharmacy has gotten busier and Ms. Michelle has gotten a much larger workload, but whenever I deal with her directly, she seems very rushed and annoyed, whereas she always used to be very friendly and went above and beyond if I had ANY issues whatsoever. Again, it's very possible she is just handling a huge amount of work and doesn't have as much time as she used to, to chat and be super-friendly. Either way, the pharmacy is adequate in that 99% of the time my prescriptions are received and filled on time without incident. The employees/techs that work there are courteous and efficient. Sometimes I do notice issues with the phone/messaging system - there have been several times when I left a message for a call back and the Ai/machine confirmed all of my information (including a text stating my message has been receivd), yet I never got a call back. So now I'm just weary leaving messages, wondering if anyone actually receives them? I would probably switch pharmacies if this location wasn't so ideal (very close to my home). Also, the reality is that MOST pharmacies are an absolute nightmare anyway, so I may as well stick with the "OK" one, since whichever pharmacy I switch to will most likely be much, MUCH worse. read more

WOW. You know when you hear about "friendly neighborhood pharmacies"? I feel like that's not a thing in this day and age.. But you definitely get that feel here! Enough that I had to shout it out. The pharmacist who's picture is on the wall, i wish i knew her name, was one of the kindest most knowledgeable people I've encountered in a long time. You can really feel she loves what she does. She seemed to know alot about what was going on with the guy ahead of me because she had alot of advice for him about changing prescriptions and wished him good health at the end. It was really nice to see. When it was my turn, she gave me really good advice on OTC remedies for my situation. It was a really pleasant and refreshing experience. I also feel like you really don't see pharmacists checking patients out alot. She was gladly doing it. Great location. read more

It needs to improve everything, from the pharmacist holding up a line while she chats with a friend at the counter to a pharmacy tech that doesn't understand how to use the register. Every time I go to pick up medication I never leave with what was ordered. Sometimes it isn't filled, sometimes is back ordered, sometimes it's in the process of being filled. I left today after waiting 30 minutes for some guy playing with the computer rather than asking a colleague for assistance. After all this, I lost patience and left without a single prescription. As a doctor, I wish I could ethically direct my patients away from CVS and Walgreens. Both as a patient and a physician, I miss small private community pharmacies. These big box stores and their staff are worthless...at least they were today. Rite Aid wasn't bad....too bad they went out of business! read more

The CVS in Irvine on Alton and Jeffrey embarrassed me so horribly about being on MED-I-Cal. Anyways, years later I'm still weary of these people and Jordan was talking quietly about my insurance being terminated. Turns out I gave him the wrong card. This is THE BEST pharmacy crew I've encountered. They're always super kind, patient, and incredibly helpful whenever I come in to pick up prescriptions for my family. Shout out especially to Andrea, the phenomenal pharm. tech, Michelle and Tran who are always super knowledgeable, helpful, and lovely ladies who make this place what it is. My boyfriend Brian and I love love love the ladies at this location! They are always so kind and welcoming and help us quick and easy. I never leave reviews but everyone at this location deserves a raise and is amazing, especially Michelle! There has been a shortage of my medication the last two months and I called around to many pharmacy's to find it and normally people are rude or not helpful but yesterday Michelle reached out to my doctor and gave me advice on what to do if they couldn't get my medication on time and was very sorry for the inconvenience. They did end up getting my medication and when I called to confirm, again Michelle was just so helpful. This location is 45 minutes away from me but, I will easily make the drive if these are the people handling my medication. They are quick at responding, greet you with a smile and go above and beyond to help you out. read more

This particular pharmacy is a complete utter mess. I called them to see if my mother in law's prescription was ready for pick up. I waited 30 minutes on hold and a woman picked up and then hung up on me. I tried to call again and was put on hold and eventually just gave up. My mother in law decided to just drive their without even knowing if her prescription was ready or not. This type of service is unacceptable, and it is quite frustrating when one has waited on hold and then gets hung up on! Please train your employees better on how to use the phone. read more

Let me just say...I do not go out of my way to write reviews, but I will when it comes to this pharmacy. Every time I come they greet me with a smile and by name. They have always checked on me and they have went out of their way to make sure my medications were processed and ready. Can you wait a million times to the point I exploded three times after being told over and over that my script will be readyrrvi and again, sorry but can you wait, again? How does this place occupy space and actually reap any results? Not to mention watch countless people who've waited in line with me while just being in line hearing them say "sorry, but." I've been filling my scripts at cvs for 16 years. This weekend I WAS FORCED TO RISK MY LIFE and ration insulin because the pharmacist at this location "didn't feel comfortable" filling my one vial of insulin because the doctor ( who happened to be out of office for the weekend) forgot to write "sliding scale" on instructions for ME. I HAD TO RISK MY LIFE. The pharmacist mentioned that other locations may "feel comfortable" to fill it. THE PHARMACIST HERE FELT COMFORTABLE TO MAKE ME RISK MY LIFE but not comfortable to fill my one vial of insulin I've been getting every month for the past 16 years. Shame on any pharmacist practicing in this manner, INSULIN IS A LIFE DEPENDENT hormone. You are one of the major issues making healthcare difficult for people trying to survive. Update** I tried again a few days later. Got a call from an employee asking me the dose. He then PROCEEDED to fill it. Very thankful for this one employee. But this also goes to solidify my low rating for my more than unreasonable experience. As "head pharmacist" this woman should have known better than to NOT fill my life dependent insulin script. The pharmacists need more training and much better judgement. read more
