Get told my script is ready. Go to the store and there is a handwritten sign on the door say" Closed due to computer Malfunction" People like me are pulling up and looking like fools. The retail store part is fine. Stuff is usually in stock and the checkout line is usually pretty short. It's your standard CVS store in that respect. The pharmacy is a nightmare--I think a lot of the blame probably goes to corporate (things like a prescription you haven't taken in a while suddenly goes on auto-refill, forcing you to go through mail order for certain prescriptions, etc) but this store seems especially problematic. They seem to have a real problem locating filled prescriptions, which causes a line to back up. Expect to wait at least 20-30 min if you stop by after work. I'm pretty patient. I understand retail pharmacies have a lot of demand and are staffed to the minimum or even understaffed. I get that they have to deal with all sorts of nasty people - people who are sick, addicted, self-important, or a bad combination of one or more of these. It has to be a tough job working in a retail pharmacy. That excuses, to a certain extent, inefficiency and occasionally terse interactions. It doesn't excuse incompetence. read more

This CVS has the WORST pharmacy. Most of the time I am standing in a line that extends way down the aisle only to find out once I get to the register that my prescription isn't ready. All of my prescriptions are supposed to be automatically filled but every month I have to call in to get it filled. If I suggest a time I want it done by it is never done and I am asked if I want to wait. I have been going to this CVS now for 15 years and I have finally had it. I am tired of the excuse that they are "so busy" that my prescription can't be filled in a timely manner. Here is a suggestion-if you are CONSTANTLY behind, hire more people, preferably nice ones. They totally turned this Cvs around. Pharmacy used to be a mess, frustrating and always a problem. For the past year or so it's amazing. I never have any problems with the pharmacy, they are on top of prescriptions and always ready. Staff is always nice and ready to help. I am really impressed about how much they improved. read more

Situation: Sunday 11/13/2016 10am. Dropped off prescription. A few hours they said that prescription will not be available until tomorrow. We waited until 11/14/2016 no call until afternoon. We called around 3pm they said prescription will be available in 30 min. Got a text message after an hour that prescription is not available. We ended up calling other pharmacy (Giant) and they have it. Went to the pharmacy to get our prescription back... They can't find it hard copy or online! We gave our prescription to Anvil (Floater) , then spoke with Bao (Pharmacist too) he can't find our prescription. You can't lose a prescription period! We called HQ about this and they are taking action. We ended up going back to the clinic go to the doctor to get us another prescription... This location has a great shift supervisor, Sam. He's ALWAYS friendly and talkative and goes above and beyond to accommodate for customers. He greets everyone who walks in. Every time I come here there is a long wait. Today they have misplace the prescription that was called in for me several hours ago. This review is for the Pharmacy at this location. EVERYTIME I call no matter what day of the week or what time of day I always have to wait at least 5 minutes on hold and when they finally answer they are less then pleasant. I was excited to see that you could now have prescriptions delivered so I went ahead and did that!! Sadly my prescriptions never even made it out of their store after waiting 4 days (when they said 1-2 day shipping) I finally received a notification that my order was canceled, cancelled with NO explanation.... They clearly need to work on their staff. I'm currently on hold with them now and the timer is at 6 minutes. read more

I do not understand how, in a new location with what should be more efficient procedures in place, this pharmacy is so completely unorganized and dysfunctional. The pharmacists always appear to be busy and important, but not with customers. The drive-through window shouldn't be there if nobody is going to work at it - I sat for a full 12 minutes one day, pressing the button twice, before a woman came over and said, "I see you, we're just really busy - I'll be right back." Oh ok then - because I'M not busy AT ALL. I have nothing at all better to do than wait in a line. I'm at the drive through because I cannot physically stand in a line for a long period of time, and I know (from experience) that standing in line inside the store is no better. In fact, one day, waiting for a prescription right next to the pharmacy - in the chair where I told the girl I'd sit to wait - I sat for 30 minutes. I got up to ask about my prescription and the girl said, "I TOLD you it was ready!" Yesterday I tried to refill a prescription and they said they were out. I said, "Can you check another CVS to see if they have it?" She said, "No, it's gonna be a matter of driving over to check." Perfect, thanks for your assistance. I drove - they were out. I also checked Rite Aid (also out) before going to Giant. Thank God they had the medication. How is it so difficult to have medication on hand? They have records of their patients. They have schedules of refills for those recorded patients. How are they surprised when a medication that says "2 Refills" comes up for refill? Add to that the looong wait times, general inefficiency, and sometimes rude staff, and I dread my need for monthly refills. Unfortunately CVS is my insurance's preferred pharmacy, but I'm going to call them and find out the price differences to just switch to another company. Get it together, CVS! read more

I placed a request for a Kaiser prescription to be transferred here because my health insurance recently changed when I started a new job. Save yourself the trouble and AVOID this location. I was given both conflicting and incorrect information by the pharmacy technicians. Not only are the staff here rude and unhelpful, apparently they are dangerously misinformed as well. My experience using their online transfer request form was disappointing at best. After placing the transfer request online, I received an email stating that the prescription would be ready by 7:15pm that night for pick-up. At no fault of CVS Pharmacy, the power went out in the area due to heavy thunderstorms so I was unable to pick up my prescription that night. The next day, I visited the pharmacy around 6:00pm to pick up my prescription. After providing my information, the technician gave me a vacuous stare and said they had no record of my name in their system. I explained the situation and suggested that perhaps the request was missed due to the power outage. Still with a blank stare, I was told to go wait at the drop-off counter and explain the situation to someone else. I could not tell if the second technician was patronizing me, or simply distracted because he was obviously in the middle of a personal call on his Bluetooth device while "listening" to me explain the situation. Regardless the reason, this second employee's attitude was unnecessarily abrasive and dismissive to my concerns. He "looked up" my information and also could not find my name in their system; however, upon yelling across the pharmacy floor to another employee, he miraculously gathered the information that Kaiser WAS contacted per my request and they had informed CVS that I had no active prescriptions... How this information changed mid-air is beyond me, because I heard no such explanation from his colleague. Privacy concerns aside, this was simply untrue - but it gets worse. The technician then proceeded to explain that because my policy had ended with Kaiser, I must visit a new doctor approved by my new provider and obtain a brand new prescription before they would be able to fill it. He said this is the only way to get a prescription filled when changing insurance providers. I insisted that this prescription was very recently written and that this didn't sound like standard protocol. I also asked why I was not contacted by someone from their pharmacy when they had issues filling my prescription. I received a shrug in response. Apparently his personal call was more pressing of a matter. I ended up leaving completely baffled and determined to figure out whether my previous provider was responsible for the misinformation or if the bad information originated with CVS. As I suspected, it was the CVS employees who were wildly incorrect by telling me I must obtain a new prescription. I verified with Kaiser before filing the transfer request, and have spoken with the Kaiser pharmacy again twice since this incident, and they have informed me that I do indeed have refills still available on my prescription and that those refills are eligible to be transferred to another local pharmacy despite the policy ending. The prescription was just written in March of this year and does not expire for another 8 months... Save yourself the time and the headache and transfer your prescriptions elsewhere. I find it extremely concerning that I was impolitely given INCORRECT medical advice by people supposedly "qualified" to do so. Personally, I prefer that the "professionals" handling my medication actually know what they're talking about. Additionally, I believe it is important that persons in customer service positions actually make an attempt to be friendly to their customers. If I could give this pharmacy a 0-star rating, I would. I was unimpressed by my experience here and strongly advise other customers to use caution before trusting these people with your medications or for any advice whatsoever. read more

Since this CVS moved things have not changed. You would think since the building has change the service would have changed. Starting with the pharmacy my elderly mother had a prescription called in by a doctor. My mom had called three times and they kept saying it wasn't there. I also stopped in there and they said it wasn't there. So the next day my mom and I went to the doctors office they gave her a hand written prescription which we took there. They filled it and then when she went to checkout she had two it was the one that she was supposed to have before. In which that was the one they kept saying they didn't have. No one should have to be put in that position to get a prescription that they really need. Plus making us use our time , gas and money. I used to work pharmacy when it was People's Drug Store so I know it can be hard. I even tried to apply for this store online which it said they had two positions. I applied online and then went to check on my application the manager wouldn't even talk to me and just told an employee to tell me that they weren't hiring. If I am going to complain I would rather just help the situation but it seems to me that they don't want the help even though they are hiring. read more

I've used this pharmacy for over a year now and had some good experience but in the last month or 2 it has just been a total disaster. I get if you are u see staffed and there is a line. But when the pharmacists say they have to call the doctor to get some approval and they never do it, then I have a problem. And when you call them back to see if they called and they say we will call right now and then u don't hear back from them until the next morning I got a big problem. Then when they finally call me back the next morning they say they got the doctor approval but now they don't have the meds in stock and it's a Friday!! Like you couldn't check 3 days ago when I brought in the prescription? This place is an embarrassment to customer service. And they don't even care. You just deal with it or go somewhere else I guess. Zero apologies from these people. It's just a disaster. I would not recommend. read more

Worst CVS EVER! No customer service, tech at pharmacy have no idea of anything! Not helpful at all! Each time even when you get 10 calls for you medication you still have to waste more than 30 minutes there not including the time you are in line waiting for your turn! We chose this CVS because it was the closest to our house. We have been using it since 2009 and usually had reasonable service. The past 1 1/2 the service has really gone downhill. I can see that partially it is due to a staffing problem, it seems there are never enough people working and they are always struggling to have a prescription ready on time. However, even when we have confirmation that a Rx is ready for pickup, the line is often very long and sometimes the person can't seem to find the prescription because it is so disorganized behind the counter. Further, in the last year we have had CVS lose a Rx on multiple occasions, requiring us to have to call the doctor and explain why they need to call in another prescription again. We have wasted a lot of time with long lines, lost prescriptions etc., we are planning on switching our prescriptions to a new pharmacy within the next few months as we get new prescriptions for drop off. read more
