I took a few things into account when I shopped at this store. I believe that the most important things are to make sure the appearance/atmosphere and prices are reasonable. With that being said, my review is positive based on the overall environment and prices. As I stepped foot into Family Dollar I noticed that the store was very clean and well taken care of. Because of this experience alone, I felt the need to give a positive review; not to mention the kindness, and organization that was beyond perfect. To add, the floors looked freshly mopped, everything was in it's correct place, and the staff was happy and bubbly when asking if I needed help finding anything. and that really added to my opinion about this store. The store was also very organized; I was easily able to find everything I was looking for. The staff is definitely another reason for this review. The staff really helped me out and was very friendly. When I walked in, the workers asked me how my day was and asked if they could help me find anything. As I stayed there longer, thy continually came back to check on me and see if I needed anything. I felt very comfortable with them and they put me in a great mood! As I was shopping I was sure to check prices on items that I knew Dollar General also carried. I then took a picture of prices on a single item and went to Dollar General to compare them. However, Family Dollar's prices were a little more expensive compared to Dollar General. Even though this is so, the prices were not way too high for me to not shop there. Between comparing prices, my experience, the atmosphere, and the staff; I came to the conclusion that I will most defiantly be using Family Dollar as my one-stop-shop. The prices were okay, the staff was friendly, the store was clean and organized, and I felt comfortable in there. I strongly feel that Family Dollar is a great store to shop at for mostly all your needs!

When it closed, I never thought that we'd ever have another one like it. We were looking at the clearance items that were 70% off and an additional 50% off we got some items and were going up to the checkout, we told the cashier we didn't want anything if it didn't ring up correctly. The worker went to get the manager, she came out eating hot cheetos not doing her job then proceeded to get in my grandma's face with the item and yelling and said it's only 50% off when the sign clearly said otherwise. She asked my grandma if she even knew how to read? My grandma then said yes, do you know how to read? The manager Stephanie said yes I was the one who put the sign up. The manager said that she would kick us out of the store, My grandma said some not so nice things and she took that as a threat and called the police. She then started to take pictures of my grandma and almost tried to open the car door. We left and took are business somewhere else.
