I went to pick up a few prescriptions. One prescription wasn't ready, so I asked why and was told they would request to expedite it. I was informed it was being worked on and would take 20-30 minutes, and that I could wait. After waiting 45 minutes, I inquired again and was referred to (L) at the drop‑off window. As I walked over, I heard the cashier tell him I had been waiting 45 minutes. His response was, "It's part of the process," which I found unprofessional. He then looked up the prescription and told me it was out of stock. I explained that this information would have been helpful before I waited 45 minutes. He offered no apology or acknowledgment. He said I could pick it up at another location. I told him I would get it from the store on Saturday, and he replied, "I don't get prescriptions on the weekend". No apology or empathy. Very clean store inside. Friendly quick service despite being very busy. The problem is all the garbage on the parking lot. All around the building, trash everywhere- every time I go there. It's really a turn off. I had to go in to pick up my son's prescription otherwise I would've turned around and left. I have been blown away by how friendly and professional the very large team at this rare 24-hour pharmacy has been. They have way too many scripts to fill and yet they always manage same day when in stock, often within the hour of getting the e-script. No one has ever treated me like my questions were stupid. If I could give zero stars, I would. This is by far the worst CVS in the valley. I came in to get a diabetic sensor that DOES NOT require a prescription. The void behind the counter tried to argue this point and denied an out- of- pocket purchase of this sensor. Spoke to the store manager who proceeded to tell me that - quote - "we are the busiest store in the valley" (his name is William) when I informed him that this is the worst reviewed CVS in the Phoenix Valley. They are not the busiest in the valley, not even close. I attempted to call corporate; and no one answered at all. When a customer returns an item, regardless of what it is, and the store manager states, you are the only one that has complained about the particular item, consequently they will not allow you to buy the item again! I've never heard of such behavior displayed by a store manager!!! Is it not possible the specific item was just bad, and I happened to be the "lucky" one to pick it? Absolutely ridiculous that you sit on hold for 40 minutes on a Sunday evening just to ask a simple question and then they get on and hang up immediately without even finishing their "Can I help..." and you can't even ask your question. I can not believe how this pharmacy operates. The last month I have transferred to this pharmacy and it has been a nightmare. The first transfer they didn't transfer all my meds but I waited over a week being out of my blood thinner and then they finally did something after I called several times to be on hold for several minutes each time to only be disconnected 3 times! Now I am dealing with a prescription I transferred over a week ago! They called me to ask me for the phone number! You would think with EMR and technology these days you would have this info and not have the patient go out of their way trying to locate this info. The pharmacist told me they have bad internet connection..... Finally again after several more calls and no luck I ended up in the store to hear the same excuses and it's their busy time. Well get more staff to accommodate your patients who pay for these services!!! January 6, 2023: Received exceptional assistance from Nick while looking for compression pantyhose. He went to extreme lengths to help me--searched every CVS resource, using two different phones! Then Nick queried the manager for additional information. Although he was unable to help with my original request, I settled for thigh-high compression hose. Nick has the compassion and drive-strength to help his employer succeed. He's definitely necessary for CVS to compete in their market. And, he's what I consider to be manager material. Went to the pharmacy and they were rude and very condescending!! Well not go back for my pharmacy needs!!

I had new insurance so I took my paperwork to this pharmacy to update it and pick up my RX. After sitting in the drive through for 30 minutes the tech at the window SARAH MIKHAEL is having trouble processing my new insurance. She calls another tech over, a guy who's names started with a Z (couldn't get a good look at the full name) after they stand there laughing and looking at me I ask if there is a problem. They both responded with no. After a few more minutes they said my date of birth isn't matching what insurance has. They can't tell me what insurance has as my DOB. When they gave me a printed copy of the rejection of my insurance, Sarah entered my insurance ID# WRONG! So I called the pharmacy to update my insurance with the correct information and the guy who answered the phone had the same accent as the guy who helped in the drive through. I gave him the correct ID# and now he tells me my insurance is expired. I called my insurance and after an hour of being on hold all my information is correct and my insurance is active. Every single time I deal with this pharmacy during the day when Sarah is working I have issues. She said she put my RX through to be filled, when I came back they didn't have a request to fill it. When they do get filled and I come to pick them up AFTER sitting in the drive thru a minimum of 30 minutes a trip I'm told it's been returned to stock/they don't have an RX ready for me or now my RX has expired and they can't help me. I've been coming to this store for years and always had decent service until this past year-year and a half. This store has gone to sh*t with filling RX's, their customer service and their wait times. And the tech I mentioned is absolutely HORRIBLE!!! She should be fired. I will continue to write bad reviews and make complaints against this store and this tech until they get rid of her. I've already pulled my RX from here. read more

Whoever is working the day shift for drive thru pick up is a major B. She has black hair, glasses and pig tails in right now. My fiancé and I went to pick up my RX and realized after driving away I received one I discontinued. We went back around and let the girl know that we were actually picking up a different one. She asked for my name and date of birth over three times and when she asked what medication we were picking up and I responded, she rolled her eyes! Pharmacist, Nicole Hachman, did not acknowledge nor treat my husband with the decency of being a customer/ patient trying to get help with picking up my child's medication. She gave me a hard time made me call my wife to come inside since Nicole was being rude to my husband in which my husband is a tan skin color then myself in which we are both Hispanic speak English and are from here. I am have a light complexion skin tone which cameras are able to identify the skin color and how different she treated myself versus my husband. I understood the pharmacy did not have the medication was rude about it as well just stated to get something over the counter. I told her what was her name in which she was failing to provide to me and did not have her name tag on anywhere for me to make it possible to identify till she gave up and stated her name. She told me since I was going to do the survey and leave my negative experience she could have refused my service so I indicated thank you I will make sure to add it to your survey but if you don't like your job switch fields. I will definitely not be back the only reason I come to CVS I just moved from California in which I picked up all my medications in CVS pharmacy and never had a horrible experience especially treating my husband as if he is nothing because he is a tanner skin tone. read more

Prior to contacting this location I had a less than pleasant experience at another CVS closer to my house. This location the Pharmacist went out of her way to transfer my RX over. She was busy but still wowed me with her customer service. She picked up the phone on one of the first rings, not only that she had to put me on hold to help another customer and then to work on my request but came back right away to tell me the resolution when she had it quickly completed. She called over to the old store and then had my RX ready within less than 15 minutes. It's Pharmacists like her that need to be cloned. She was truly empathetic to my situation and came up with a timely resolution. They had two cars ahead of me in their drive thru but I waited less than 5 minutes in line. Also, the Pharmacy Technician at the drive thru when I picked up my Rx was friendly, wore a smile on her face and was very pleasant and knowledgeable. This store at 91st and Union Hills in Peoria AZ is terrible. They have no idea that an Rx from Peoria AZ stays in Peoria AZ and does not go back to the CVS in California we left 10 months ago. Months of getting multiple Rx filled for one pick up seems to be too much to ask and all of a sudden it is back in Cali. Rx Staff is rude, facilities set up to meed COVID standards are not accessible for a wheelchair user and they do not care. And yes, just like all of the other reviews, the phone system is critically horrendous and needs to be fixed NOW. We are not calling to have a causal conversation, we are not calling to listen to your music on hold, we are calling to discuss or get life preserving/life saving medicines. read more

Apparently an issue with my insurance. They said it expired at the end of 2019. Which is interesting given that I've taken my son to Urgent Care, the Dr and picked up 2 prescriptions (at this location nonetheless) after the 1st of the year, WITH NO ISSUES. Insurance still shows active online, so it's obviously on their end. Was hoping to discuss with the pharmacy but after being on hold for 6 minutes, was hung up on. Didn't even talk to anybody yet. Called back and waited to connect with the pharmacy FOR 24 MINUTES. Didn't talk to a live person once. Then they disconnected the call, AGAIN. What kind of customer services is this? Switched prescriptions to this location from the very busy Walgreens next to the hospital. Pretty sure I'll be switching back. Absolutely unacceptable. read more
