I visited the store yesterday and left my laptop at the self check-out. When I realized it was missing a few hours later, I returned to the store and met Laneshia who promised to review the security cameras, which she did as soon as she was able. She discovered that Romeo had seen the lost item (not realizing it was a laptop because it was in a case) and put it behind the counter for safe keeping. His shift had ended before I returned yesterday so the missing laptop was discovered today. Laneshia called me as soon as she located my lost computer. I thought my laptop was gone forever, but thanks to Romeo's quick action, I am writing this from that same laptop, just over 24 hours later. I am so grateful that these two helpful, honest employees were working yesterday and cannot tell you how much it means to have my laptop returned. I tried to give Romeo a reward but he only smiled and told me his goal was to make his customers happy and that was enough for him. I remember Romeo from prior visits to the store because he is always smiling, always friendly and clearly takes pride in providing excellent customer service, which is becoming a rare commodity in the service/retail industry. These two people are a great example of how to provide great service. There is a CVS much closer to my house but I usually drive to this location because it has a nicer atmosphere and the employees are friendly. I am certainly glad I did, and my experience over the last two days has ensured I will be a customer for life. read more

This is our good ol neighborhood pharmacy about half a mile from home. We patron them frequently not only because they're the consensus closest to our place, but because they have a pharmacy tech named Tina. Their pharmacists and crew are great, but Tina is the star of the show here. From my experience, I dont EVER remember seeing her drop her smile, and never misses greeting us and letting us know that our time is valuable, by aknowledging us with a "we'll be with you shortly", or "sorry about the wait" WITH EYE CONTACT! Lol, not the Subway greet BS haha. She displays customer service at its best in my book. If CVS don't know about her it's a damn shame. Anyway, they're also open til 11pm almost everyday so it's convenient as heck. Prescription refill requests gets taken cared off in a jiffy. Sometimes within an hour which is otherworldly! The pharmacists here are amazing. They are very thorough and go the extra mile to help. I once had a crappy doctor prescribe me a medication that was in the same family as the one I'm allergic too and they caught it, said they didn't want to risk prescribing it to me and had me confront my doctor. When I lost my insurance, they took initiative to help find me a coupon since the prescription was so expensive saving me $60. Gotta love it!! So nice to see people still wanting to help others. read more

Not only did I have to wait in the drop-off line just to ask for a product for an over the counter purchase, but the tech also made me wait in the pick-up line to finalize the purchase. She had just helped someone in the drop-off line purchase his meds and then follows to tell me to line up again after helping me. I waited and wasted about 20 extra minutes because of that. Despite the negative reviews I still came to this location in search of a passport photo. Walked in asked to have my passport pic taken, paid and was on my way. The process all took a good 7 min. This location looks a bit older inside but the service was great!! Actually just recieved my new passport book in the mail yesterday and submitted it a week ago! If I could give this a 10 STAR review I would. Talk about great customer service! I was very pleasantly greeted as I walked in the door with a smiling face. I was in need of some travel and vitamin products. Edith I believe her name is (assistant Manger) was very friendly and professional. She had a smile on her face the whole time. She made sure I liked the products, I was purchasing. All I can say is I hope some managers read this. This girl needs a pay raise. This CVS store is located on two busy streets across from a hospital and two physicians towers. The store does have ample parking with entries and exits from both major streets. It is not a 24 store, however, it is very high volume, and, as a consequence, product replenishment is constantly taking place. You may find that a particular product has not yet been stocked on the shelves, but, rather, is in containers in the aisles. The people responsible for stocking are responsive to customers' needs and will go through bins or into the back of the store to find an item. The pharmacy has different hours than the retail store and is adequately staffed with personal. Because the pharmacy also has such a high volume, you may have to wait for some time for your prescription to be entered, filled and ready for pickup. This is not a problem if the prescription has been called in ahead of time. In these cases, it is always ready for pickup. Pharmacy staff calls a high percentage of their customers by their name when you interact with them and are very friendly and patient. The pharmacy also has a window for drop-offs and pickups. There are three primary languages spoken in this area and both the retail floor and pharmacy have staff that speak these languages. All personal on the retail floor are friendly and are ready and willing to assist. Like many stores, they are promoting self checkout, which is very fast and easy to use. At this store, unlike others, they always have a staff member standing by at the self checkout and this person also greats incoming customers. A bottleneck can occur when you need the assistance of a cashier as there is usually only one or (at most) two available. A manager is always available to assist in both the pharmacy and on the retail floor. read more

Very slow cashiers I've waited 20 min just to buy an item!!! Twice I've missed my train thinking it was going to be fast!! This is by far the worst store I've ever been to. There are lots of things that have been opened and gone through on the shelf, the refrigerator smells like bug spray, and no one ever seems to try very hard at being helpful. In fact I am amazed that they can even work the cash register. Maybe it's just CVS in general. I just know that any other store in existence that I've ever been to in my life has better customer service than this. I honestly will never be back to this place. Every time I go to CVS I have the pretty much same experience. At all times there seem to be somebody outside the front door peddling something. Not only do the professional beggars from the Shriners show up but many homeless do asking for money while talking on cell phones. The store seems to not have enough employees. You will always have to wait in long lines. If you are there for the photo center then you might never get out of the store. There seems to be only one person who works in the photo department and he is always on brake. Why can't they hire some more employees when all their stuff is marked up so much higher than most stores? The store also has the main isle filled with countless things to buy but more importantly these are obstacles you must avoid or you will trip. I have seen some people fall over in this store and after the laughing stops something really needs to be done about this. The store needs to address this issue, create a separate checkout line and not have it be in the main hallway to the rest of the store. The experience shopping at this CVS could be better. They need to hire more employees, pay them more so they are friendlier and really clear up beggars out front. read more

Always have problems in the self check out. And this one dude is super intense. I get he wants to help and do his job, but then he just starts trying to over help. Yesterday evening I waited in a car-line for 45 minutes just to pull up to the window and be told by a pharmacist (who looked close to a panic attack) that they couldn't fill my prescription because they were understaffed and swamped. I begged them to give me an advance - just one or two pills so I could, ya know, not derail my life and go to work the next day. I was told "No it's a controlled substance... Can't do it until tomorrow" Keep in mind, when I drove up to the line, it was 4 hours until closing. By the time I got there it was 3 hours until closing. Didn't matter. "Too bad! Fuck you! Bye!" I have severe pain and require a lot of medication - many of which have HELLISH withdrawal symptoms. I always try to keep a couple extra on hand because of this, but because life is the way it is, sometimes it just doesn't line up. I can't count the amount of times I've had to put my life on hold because CVS can't (or won't) competently place an order or refill my prescriptions on time. This isn't fast food you guys! It's Medicine! For many of us, it's not like we can just "deal" without it. For these things to be in the hands of severely incompetent and understaffed pharmacists is unacceptable. Unfortunately I live super close to this location, so I'll probably remain masochistic and play this stupid pharmacy-roulette game this branch has going on. Though at this point I'd probably have better service going to the projects and asking random people on the street for my medicine vs going to this CVS on any day of the week. read more

Their generic products actually are more expensive than brand name ones, but they just sell the others for super expensive price to make consumer choose their own products. If you subcribe for deals and promo, they'll send coupons to your email like 15-40 % off entire purchase, but expire in one week or so. Sometimes they have good deals on weekly ads, but sometimes and certain items only, and be careful with those extra buck coupons, those just make you shop more and have short expiration dates. Once u have to rush to shop in order to spend those extra bucks before it expires, u will make bad decision and find out not everything that has sale tag on is cheap. I prefer to shop at Target next time. read more

Jene at the pharmacy counter was not nice at all. I went to pick up my sons prescription and she snapped at me telling me he does not have a prescription and to go to the other line...I told I received a text that it was ready and she did not care. When I tried to show her the text, she said she did not want to see it and to leave her line and get in the other line. Melody, the lady in the other line was very nice and helpful and explained what had happened. Jene could have done the same thing, but clearly was not interested in helping anyone. If Jene is going to be in a counter/customer service position, patience and understanding is something that she is going to have to learn. read more
