Came here to pick up medication and had to wait awhile as they couldn't locate my medication. Strange as I had called ahead and asked if it was in. After 15 minutes they said they had a hard time ordering my lidocaine patches and did apologize for the wait. Having taking time off of work to come here to pick up medication and only to find out it wasn't filled nor ready. Not a good experience at all. The pharmacist did apologize and asked for me to come back a few days late. They did offer me a similar brand of lidocaine patches that didn't require a prescription so I got those instead for now and will come back to pick up the higher dose. read more

I urgently needed to pick up medicine today for an infection and your registers were down with no explanation. This is incredibly dangerous for patients who rely on your service. The male cashier Michael accused me of lying. I was buying only two items. The self checkout screen total was $17.Once I put my credit card in, the machine thought it was a coupon. He said he will help me at the cashier so I followed. The total came out to $25. I said oh can I put on my phone number? He said it's already in. I told him the coupons I have totaled to $17 at the self checkout. He kept telling me i took too long and was making up lies about how the transaction happened. He accused me of lying when I was physically showing him the coupon I used in the app but it wasn't showing up on his screen. I asked him why does my app say the coupon is on the card and it showed up at self checkout but not on his screen? He said " well i dont know then! If you just added the coupon I am not going to help" i didn't just add the coupon. I bought two items specifically for the coupon. Also why would that stop you from helping ?? Stories like this happened to me several times at the pharmacy there, so I decided to write about it. I was there to pick up 2 refills which were ready to pick up. I also asked if i could refill another Rx ( very easy one), the pharmacy technician said pharmacist is going on break, cant be filled for another hour. So u need to come back later. I am a registered hospital pharmacist, I know it takes 30 seconds to fill and check that Rx. It was a blood pressure medication, but they sent me home and asked me to come back again for it. Even though no other patients were there. I realize pharmacists need to take a break, but i would never send a pt home and have them come back again if i can fill their prescription in 30 seconds!! You are actually decreasing patient compliance. I have decided to go to mail-order Rx so i wont have to deal with them anymore! read more

I almost didn't come to this pharmacy because of all the bad reviews but then I saw on Yelp that all the CVS in this area has bad reviews. Lol I came in around 2pm today. While I waited for my prescription/ consultation with the Pharmacist, I got a chance to observe all the interactions with the customers and staffs. All the pharmacists and staffs including Keyur (and I believe the other two were Ken and maybe Kelly? This is the absolute worst pharmacy I've ever dealt with on so many levels. You are situated in one of the most "exclusive" areas of Orange County, and yet treat your customers like trash. I would quite literally fire every employee and start over. Clearly a management issue from the top down. Apart from "attitude" and total lack of compassion or understanding. Punta or whatever her name is, first to go. PERIOD. She is awful and has no business dealing with other human beings. I've seen the way she talks to the elderly, to the point of me interjecting. The "kids" at the counter, some are actually pretty good, some are completely incompetent. The bigger issue is perhaps a corporate issue and today was the final straw. I will never again use a CVS pharmacy for anything. They will simply "cancel" your prescription order without telling you. Just happened to me. Ohh there is a shortage, or a backorder, I can put it in again. What do you mean "put it in again?" - ohh, so I've lost my place in line for whatever does come in? Well, yes. In the words of the famous little orange man, YOU'RE FIRED. Corporate, get your act together. Call your customers, keep them informed, tell them what is going on. You know, like, do your f'n job! If you have a prescription that needs to be filled, I strongly urge you go to a different pharmacy. The pharmacist here are the most rudest I have ever experienced. Not sure how they still are employed. I had an emergency medication I needed to pick up for my mom. After she received a text message it was ready we went to pick it up and were sent home for the third time because either they were out to lunch or no one was available to help even though they sent a text message it was ready for pick up. Three days in a row for medicine that was an emergency. It's beyond me how they can have such a careless pharmacist staff. Absolutely the worst pharmacy ever. read more

This pharmacy's hours are confusing, if you need your meds definitely arrive before 1:25, the sign says they close at 1:30 for lunch, but apparently the cranky cashier at the pharmacy has her own interpretation of the hours. USE A DIFFERENT PHARMACY ! I get it if I showed up at 1:29:59 with 100 new scripts, but I could see my prescription ready for pickup. Ridiculous! I should add that the regular staff was very apologetic and seemed shocked. I shop her often and never had an issue. Guess somebody was having a bad day. Really disappointing experience. Came in for passport photos, eyes were half closed in the photo, was told by the lady working that she cannot retake the photo because "there are other customers in line who need help". I wasn't asking for a photo shoot, just a retake with my eyes open so the passport office wouldn't reject my photo. I was a paying customer who needed help as well. Pharmacy is not good- store had always good. Most people who work here are really nice but there is one pharmacist there who confuses the heck out of our family when we call. Our doctor called in a very specific dose of medication (which our family follows to a T). The first call the pharmacist yesterday she said our insurance wouldn't cover, I know this is not true due to the fact I confirmed with our insurance company. So today we went into the store to speak with her and both my husband and I left so confused by her explanation it completely ruined our nice Mother's Day. read more

I go into CVS about once every, oh, 5 years or so. I usually find places like CVS, Walgreens, Rite-Aid are super rip-offs compared to Wal-Mart and Target. But since this was close and I had a friend who needed to fill a prescription, we stopped at the local neighborhood CVS and I was pretty impressed. For a CVS. Everything was really clean, neatly organized on the shelves and they had a good selection and variety of brands. My friend got his prescription filled in about 10 minutes, so we just shopped around for other stuff, and they were really nice at the counter, asking if we wanted to just pay there instead of at the front counter. I would actually come back here. I wouldn't come here to stock up on supplies, but if you need something quick and live in Quail Hill, this is a quick and easy stop, right behind Starbucks. If they had ice cream, like Rite-Aid, it'd be perfect! read more

Me and my friends were walking around cvs, trying to find stuff to buy and this employee came up to us giving us dirty looks and even once asked us in a rude tone "Are you girls buying something?" Same products at Target for a more reasonable amount. Nevertheless, convenient if you're in the Shady Canyon / Quail Hill area. This CVS is located next to one of my favorite Starbucks. The parking lot is HUGE and even the busiest day you will have no trouble finding parking. I enjoy killing time in here looking at their silly 'As seen on TV' section. This CVS is the size of a Supermarket. This location has a self service Lottery machine that always seems to be working. I had been going to this Pharmacy for my prescriptions for over a year, same 2 prescriptions once a month. One month, I came in and the prescriptions were the same, but they had a hard time filling them. After standing at the counter for 15 minutes, they say, oh, this drug now has a generic equivalent and once the drug goes generic, the name brand usually is not longer manufactured, so they aren't carrying it anymore...I accept this begrudgingly and they give me the generic. At my next doctor's appointment, I ask my doctor about this, and she says, that whatever the pharmacy told me is untrue and that I can insist on the name brand if that is my preference. She was right, because I head over to Walgreen's and they were able to provide me with the name brand...Shiesty bastards! Needless to say, I've stopped filling my scrips at CVS... read more

I've been here a few times - not by choice originally as my regular pharmacy could no longer get my Rx - and have been PLEASANTLY surprised. EVERY OTHER CVS experience (pharmacy-wise) I've had - both as a patient and working in the medical field - had been horrible! This CVS is very different...they follow through with what they say they'll do, are friendly, respectful and get your Rx on time! This is the CVS at Quail Hill. The staff was nice even though I was just window shopping. At the time there was interestingly enough a sort of library used bookstore bin by the front door where one could get any book inside for $2. Well, it's not as good as the $1 bookstore, but it'll do. I could not accumulate frequent flyer points by buying those, though. read more

My husband forgot his prescription on a trip. I called and asked the pharmacist for a week supply that I was happy to pay for and she said she could not and would only give me one pill! It is heart medication. How horrible she would not agree to give us more then one pill. We are not able to get his bag/ prescription, until a week later and have to drive 2 hours to pick it up. Band-aids! Lots to choose from. ...maybe too much... I became kind of confused. But, the CVS brand is way cheaper than the regular name brands and works just as well. And, medical tape! I play quite a bit of golf, so I'm always looking for good medical tape for my fingers to keep the callous from building up on my fingers. Again, the CVS brand is just as good as any. read more
