For a CVS, I actually like this location. It's not on a corner of a crazy intersection. It's not really dirty or full of questionable characters. The staff are nice and I always have a good experience with the pharmacy as well. Compared to the Walgreens where we get my husband's prescriptions (VA things), it's a significantly better experience. Minus the pharmacy, I'll only occasionally pop in to grab something since the Publix is right next door. But it's a decent spot and will have what you need for a quick shop. read more

CVS is always a solid stop for me. Their coupons are nice. I even scored a free mascara on my last visit. I did run into an issue with my prescriptions, but the staff handled it quickly and professionally. Everyone was helpful, efficient, and made sure everything was sorted out. Making pharmacists that actually know their jobs and pharmacy employees with knowledge of customer service and how to treat a customer without disdain. Customers leave their money there, they should at least be treated better and with respect. The actual pharmacist mgr BREE picks and chooses who she will fill prescriptions for. Stay away from CVS. What follow it's just one of many examples that I could refer. 1. CVS failed to fulfill a refill in spite of having the medication on automatic refill and having an unexpired prescription with one additional refill remaining. 2. CVS sat for 2 or 3 days on a new prescription for the same medication without taking any action. 3. CVS advised the medication was ready for pick up. 4 A little after CVS informed the medication is out of stock and won't be until the end of the next day. Pharmacy staff was no help. I picked up a new medication that I have never used before and no one took the time to consult me on how to use it. I just started using ozempic and had no idea how or where to inject. I asked the person who handed me the medication on how and she turned around and yelled out to the other staff my question. One person yelled from across the pharmacy to inject it on my stomach and that was it. Didn't make the effort to walk up to me. I later found out from someone else that I have to keep it refrigerated and to rotated the areas of injection and how to prime the needle. read more

1. My wife can barely walk, but she needed to use the lady's room at CVS while I picked up her medicines their website showed as ready. I asked the pharmacist for the key since the restrooms are on the back wall beside the pharmacy. This pharmacist, a hostile curmudgeon with a 2 foot, unkempt gray beard said she'd have to walk back to the front of the store for the key, and then he snickered. I didn't get it at all until one of the employees said he has the key, but he's too lazy to help anyone out. 2. None of the prescriptions were ready yet. The hillbilly pharmacist started laughing again when I said they showed as "ready" on their website. I complained a bit, and he laughed harder. What a jerk. 3. Second time in a row one specific prescription has gone missing. Funny how only schedule prescriptions disappear. I guess the hillbilly decides who does and doesn't get their pills. Used to love the pharmacy at a different Jax location but they no longer take my insurance. Pros They have good deals when they have them on things you're looking for. They have self-checkout They have decent to great online photo promos Sometimes they're open late They have a coupon print out station you type in your number or scan your tag and get in store coupons Cons Bathrooms are usually gross or out of toilet paper/soap Trying to find someone in there if they're not ringing someone up is like walking into a ghost town. Extremely overpriced baby items such as diapers, creams etc The set-up is terrible. Especially with food you have a food aisle but then up by the registers is more food They run out of their stock often on things Generally their prices are much higher than their competitors and grocery stores. Staff is hit and miss with being pleasant. Usually I just get a flat no eye contact employee. A while back I had a time to pick up my photos even showed up an hour late and they still hadn't gotten to them! And no they didn't start right away or even next on my order. I had to come back 90 minutes later. The Southside/Baymeadows CVS is by far much better with stock, friendless, and overall appeal of the store. read more

I just ran in for some advertised Valentine candy. I have been to the store though to get my flu shot and they were very accommodating. I brought my candy up and the cashier said my one MM's weren't the sale ones but were Easter ones and said he'd exchange them for me...nice. I said ok but not the peanut ones cause one of my grandkids has a mild allergy to peanuts so he stopped and showed me on the chocolate MM on the back, where it said my contain peanuts, he continued to explain cause are made in the same factory as peanut MM. So sweet he was concerned my grand daughter could get ill if she ate them! I reassured him there were other kids who would eat them! Some reviews have no reason to be written... this is one of them. CVS is all cool but the only reason I walked in was because I needed to use the bathroom before going to dance class. Dance rooms seem to carry sounds through the wall and I rather no one hear me pee. It's a chick thing. I was raised that no one should ever know of any of your bowl movements. People that have heard me burp have disappeared never to be heard from again. And I really like the people in my dance class sooo... I walk through the doors and strut like I'm on a runway. You walk through the doors and you feel like all eyes on you. To my left there is a line wrapping around of people trying to get items checked out. To my right, seasonal displays littered with a woman with three children. It always seems like a qualifying round to Survivor when a person takes more then one small aged child into a store at the same time. This lady would have been disqualified. One kid clings to her side. Another kid opening up packages to try things on while the other crawls on the floor lost in some type of treasure hunt. Right before getting to the bathroom a customer service dude (I don't know his position) stops to ask me if I need any help. I point and tell him I just need the bathroom. I feel lame that I pointed. Like why do I do that? Bathroom is cool. Wash hands, dry them, and walk out like a boss. But in the parking lot I see a sign that says Shingles Vaccination? My mind flashes back quickly to the kid wearing a hat crawling on the floor. Then I think of Peter Pan & the Pirates. (80's baby 90's raised me.) And back to the sign that says "Shingles" long enough to take a picture. Who is getting Shingles in 2014? Hit up Medlineplus when I got home. It's a form of herpes! Everything seems to be a form of herpes? TF? But it only effect people that have had chickenpox. I use to love this pharmacy. Never had any issues until some staffing changes recently. Ive had rude technicians when trying to get my prescriptions and they can never seem to understand how to get a prescription filled. Wouldn't fill my sons medicine for days to where his doctor had to call them just to tell them to change it to generic. Absolutely terrible. read more

Be sure to recount every prescription here before leaving the counter!!!! Our bottles have been coming up with significantly fewer pills than is on the label. But only the painkillers with opiates are coming up short. Be careful and always look first!!! read more

The reason for the visit was to print out small photos of headshots to paste on a snowflake. We're decorating snowflakes for the holiday season and thinking back to like maybe 1st grade, I thought it was a great idea to put out faces on a snowflake, decorate it, and hang it on the Christmas tree at work. I had everyone's photo in my flashdrive. I walked in and the two associates greeted me. I walked straight to the photo center, sat down at the computer and connected the flashdrive. I thought the system was pretty cool and I thought a 4x6 was going to be good, but it was way too big to fit on the snowflakes. I had different sizes of pictures and had a hard time trying to "shrink" them in size. I asked for help to see if they could make it smaller and the first associate stated she doesn't know a way, but the 2nd associates heard and said she can help me. She was able to find a way to make it smaller, it was just a different option. Pretty much she was able to fit 4 photos onto one 4x6 and that was the perfect size for the headshots to fit on the snowflake. So I played around with the edits if needed and making sure the best size. I was done and only had to pay a $1 for 11 photos (3 prints of 4x6). That was great and glad the associates helped me because otherwise I'll be there all night and panic. read more

CVS... I have to say... I am sick of this. I like the stores... I love the convience... you are right on the corner... employees are kind... What I do not like and find detestable is... I am required to carry another CARD OR KEYTAG for this store or I have to pay the crappy overinflated price on their items. I will not shop here any longer... It seems a small thing huh.... but after you have 13 or so "discount" cards in your wallet... (as I refuse to carry all this crap on my keychain) you get a bit tired of it... there is no purpose... and to be honest..... Publx is one block away... and NO CARD REQUIRED.. the shell station across the street.... NO CARD REQUIRED... I am tired of keeping track of these useless things... enough... I buy a red bull or rockstar, and usually a bag of chips or some bagels every day... something to look at guys.... read more

Convenient location however due to replacement of staff this place have gone down hill. Poor customer service from cashier who will not honor sale prrice that is due to system/computer error, I drove further down to the San Jose location and everything worked out price rung appropriately. When an item that is supposed to ring the sale price is not ringing appropriately as stated before the cashier at this location will not check price and forget about the honoring fliers/cvs app prices. It's quite an inconvenience considering this is right down the block from neighborhood consumers. Hopefully this review can be insightful to management and CVS corporate, the pharmacy department seems to be a bit more helpful nowadays they will take time to help you find an item or assist you anyway they can. This place have a long way to go and will not be returning anytime soon. read more

The quality of this pharmacy is appalling. I am not sure what alarmed me most, the frequent mistakes from the pharmacy or the cavalier attitude from the management. A pharmacist respond to an error his staff had made with the excuse that it was just a misplaced 0 and he was not responsible because he was not there when the mistake was made. horrifying. read more
