The order-taker was rude, seeming to see customers in a negative light. Our pizza was below average. We got a Hawaiian pizza ($17 for a small). The ham was below average, with one hard bit. My wife didn't like that there was so little pineapple in it. Our Napoleon pastry was pretty good, and I might get it again ($5 for a small one). We both preferred it to the brownie ($4). I don't particularly like brownies, but this one looked particularly appetizing, and the order-taker said it was one of her favorites, so we tried it. That was a mistake. Perhaps I should have tried the mini cream puffs, which are a favorite of mine (3 for $5), instead. Among other things I usually like, they had carrot cake for $7 and a cup of cheesecake for $9 (which seems steep). Their fruit shaped pastries looked beautiful (and a couple next to us said they loved the mango one), but were $12 each. Their fruit-topped Danishes also looked delicious, but weren't available any more at lunch time. They also offer milk shakes and loaded (sweet) croissants. There are only four stools here next to a bar, if you want to eat in. The bathroom was pretty good. I probably wouldn't come here again, but if I were in the area I might try some of their other pastries or sweet treats. read more

While the fruit options are what they're known for, I thought them pricey, but ok for the optics, and a good flavor. All are made of the same stuff with the contents fruit-appropriate. I couldn't decide on just one, but with my only requirement being "not too sweet", I took the advice of a regular customer and got the lemon which was not too tart or sour and just creamy enough as to be likened to a creamsicle and also the recommendation by Julia who only asked: do you like coffee? To which I replied only with cream and sugar and I got that luscious lovely sl oblong confection. $24 for two pieces of delectable gorgeousness? I wouldn't do this often but it was a very satisfying bit of indulgence. Btw, they can't give you a cup of water, but you can buy a bottle of it. As a first-timer, I wasn't quite sure what to expect with pizza and pastries. I've seen people line up at the door waiting to get in, and now I know why. The place is small with limited seating in a storefront but the ideas and flavors are huge! I ordered a small mixed vegetable pizza (minus the olives ) and a very inviting red velvet cupcake! When I saw my small pie, my eyes and mouth were so excited! The cheese was all that and they weren't stingy with the spinach, mushrooms, and mixed bell pepper chunks! It was delicious! The red velvet cupcake had a tempting cream cheese center that called my name, and I answered! It was not super sweet, a huge concern of mine, but just the right balance. I don't know his originally nationally but I grew up in a few Eastern European who are are a little gruff but fair. He reminds me of that and I've always had professional service from him. This is a wonderful hole in the wall place!! It is in a little strip mall and is very unassuming from the outside. But man, you should not skip them!! From their viral fruit confectionaries, to their other pastries and pizza, it is to die for and I'm happy to make the 45 minute drive one way to get it. I don't like how they give you the popular fruit pastries still frozen, you can't enjoy them & it honestly just taste like sherbet in the middle with minimum fruit puree . Small business, Great food. The lady at the register was very patient with us, as it was our first time being there. She calmly explained and answered our questions. Not much seating, but there are a few barstools at the counter upon entry. Unfortunately, we got there too late to try the viral pastries (apparently they sell out quickly, but are made fresh daily), but we had two mini cannolis...it was fresh and delicious! (Pictured is the empty box lol) The shell was perfectly crispy, and the cream was definitely made in house. She filled them, and kindly walked them over to us. The iced taro milk tea was the best taro milk tea I've ever had. I'm not kidding. Very frothy and light, perfectly sweet. I was upset i didn't order a larger size. The orange grapefruit refresher tasted exactly like the name. Very refreshing. Citrusy, but not too tart. Perfect. THE PIZZA. We had the Philly Cheesesteak pizza and the Eleon Special pizza. The crust was sooo delicious. The cheese was not skimped on. The toppings were fresh. It is as good as it looks. The Eleon Special pizza was my favorite. We stopped in the get some milkshakes. I got a banana mango milkshake. In just my opinion it was ok. It just tasted like ice cream and flavored mango and banana syrup with whip cream. My wife got the coconut pineapple milkshake. She said the same thing I felt; ice cream with flavored syrup. We both were really hoping for real fruit in the ice cream like we get and some other ice cream shops. The service was super friendly. The decor they use around the shop was nice and well decorated. We both would love to try their cakes one day because the great detail work for each cake as well as looked very delicious! I just moved to the Northside and am having a great time finding all the good food. I ordered delivery, which I try not to do the first time I try a place. Delivery is just never as good. But I will say I cannot wait to try this pizza in person! It's going to be dangerously good. I ordered a small cheese pizza. Initially, I thought oh no this crust is way too thick. But it turned out to be an immense volume of cheese. I definitely don't see any reason to order extra cheese because this was super cheesy! The sauce was delicious. The crust was a bit chewy but crispy and delicious. I ordered two desserts, because I'm a grown ass woman and I do what I want. The chocolate cake missed the mark for me, but the lemon cake made up for it tenfold. Soft, moist, creamy, lemony, and just the right amount of sweet. My first experience at Eleon Pizza & Pastry was pretty good. The menu is really large, so a good number of choices. They have selections of salads, pizzas, and even fries which I thought was interesting. I decided on a margarita pizza and a Greek salad. The pizza had a great crust, and the mozzarella and basil were very flavorful on the pizza. The Greek salad was fantastic. It was honestly a very simple and traditional salad, but to me the show stopper had to be the olive oil on that salad. Personally, the quality of the olive oil was very nice to me. Last, I should mention dessert. They have nice patisseries that are very pleasing to the eye. I tried a blueberry lemon trifle which was very delicious. The blueberries had a subtle taste, but the sharpness of the lemon curd was so refreshing with the pairing of custard at the bottom. This establishment was very nice, and I enjoyed my food. The owners are a husband and wife combo who have a small write up about their business on a monitor. It looks like they take pride in the service they provide. read more

Read a few 5 stars review right before walking in and thought I would be in for some good eats. Lukewarm greeting from staff. The menu is extensive which usually doesn't bode well. The pizza I ordered was warm, eating it 5 minutes after I got it and tasted like a frozen pizza. Excess cheese that taste bland. Ordered jalapeños as an additional topping and as you see it doesn't look like it was even baked on but rather added after the fact to a microwave ready pizza. Ended up eating 2 of the 6 slices and threw the rest away. Also ordered 8 count HOT wings that did come out hot, though not spicy. Probably wouldn't return unless I wanted one of their sweet offerings. But pizza absolutely not. read more

When you walk into this quaint little hole in the wall, you basically walk into a pastry heaven. So many on display and all look delicious. The menu is clear and concise, and we both opted to try their fries as this was our first time visiting. And then of course, indulge in a milkshake. The milkshakes were brought to us first and I could've just had that, it was filling and so sweet and hit every spot I wanted it to. We both agreed that we would come back for the shakes alone. The mozzarella sticks were yummy and my person said the red sauce was good, I don't eat I red sauce, so cannot attest. We both thoroughly enjoyed our fries and I appreciate how it was served to us because it immediately offered to go container and we didn't have to go back around to get in and ask them for it. That to me was really smart. The only negative and this is nothing that is necessarily their fault, is the access to the outdoor patio on the back requires you to go two doors down and through a different shop, which is kind of a shame but again, nothing that they can do about it. This is my first time at Eleon's and I'm pleasantly surprised. At first I thought it was a pizza place but the door showed pastries so I was confused. I almost didn't go in. I looked in and saw a wide variety on the menu; breakfast croissants, salads, soups, specialty pizzas, wings, shakes and other drinks. I ordered an English breakfast, I thought it was in a croissant but it actually comes in a small cast iron skillet with a croissant (I got the mini flatbread). This was my mistake. I ordered the wrong breakfast but I decided to try it anyway. The egg is sunny side up, I found I'm not a fan. The meal was good and filling but I like my eggs hot and egg yolks well donethis one wasn't. If you like your eggs sunny side up you'll enjoy this meal. I decided to try a lemon tart too, it was good. Several people came in to pick up pizza and one even got their birthday cake from here, he said they heard good things. Really wanted to love this place and to be fair, we only tried the desserts. It's a really small space with very limited seating inside. Service was great, and my selections were prepared or taken from the case quickly. Finding Italian pastries is challenging so I was really hoping this would be a great discovery. I ordered a few different traditional items to try plus my favorite lemon cake. Unfortunately, the slice lemon cream cake was the only one I enjoyed. It was a good sized slice for $7 and tasted yummy. I good balance of cake and cream with the perfect amount of lemon flavor. The limoncello slice was tiny for the same $7 and was just okay. I liked the stronger lemon flavor but it tasted a bit artificial. For the small Napoleon, I was given the choice of custard or whipped cream. I chose the custard and liked that the napoleon had less sweet icing on top but I didn't enjoy the bright yellow custard. The whole thing fell apart as you ate it, the layers of pastry were more crispy than the flakiness I was hoping for. We finished our tasting with the 3 mini cannoli. These were a total miss for me, the shell was crispy which was the only bright spot, I am guessing because they fill them as you order. I did not enjoy the taste of the shell and cannoli cream was very bland. This may be worth a visit for someone not used to traditional Italian pastries. read more

First timers! Just ordered their Margarita Pizza and a Feta and Spinach Pizza for carry out. Both were OUTSTANDING! Reasonably priced and great quality. My family really enjoyed it! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME, I have received better customer service at Walmart. Why do we continue to support small business's that clearly don't appreciated their customers. Visited this place morning for the viral fruit pastries, I was first in line. They had a few fruit pastries, the wife was continuing to add to the display cabinet, I asked what flavors they had, he said "what is in the cabinet" I asked she's continue to add different fruits I am curious if you have other flavors in the back, he replied again we only have what is in the cabinet. They have 5 different varieties. I asked if we could enjoy the patio area, I was informed that you have to walk around the entire strip mall, there isn't an exit to the patio area, the restaurant is situated in the middle of the strip mall. It is totally false that the pastries are made on site every morning. I was there very early, prior to the owners arriving. I did see a Sysco truck . I done a little digging, apparently the pastries are not made fresh daily, makes perfect sense because they are frozen when you get them. The pastries will start to pop up all over the place, let the craze die down, stop supporting those business's who don't treat you right, clearly they don't need you're $$$'s . I cannot believe how rude this man was. I watched him serve multiple customers, I never saw him smile or say TY. $11 pastries from Sysco are over rated and this place is awful. I am extremely disappointed as I invited co workers here to enjoy our Saturday morning. Huge flop. read more

Got the margherita pizza. It was very delicious and the service was great. On the way out I ordered some deserts, the apple cheese danish is probably the best I've ever had completely honestly. I would categorize this as a click bait place. It's just not what's going around on social media. From other reviews it looks as if the owner is great at baking and decorating cakes. The pizza is meh. It's bland and lacking flavor. Cheese was ok, huge tomato slabs just don't work on pizza and either make the crust soggy which is did or they slide off which they did. Hardly any pastries in the case. A place that stays open til 11pm should have more pastries than what was available. We had a pastry with cream and flaky crust. We could immediately tell it was cool whip or something like cool whip, not what you'd expect from a place that advertises a variety of "handmade" pastries. It's a one and done for us. Too many items on the menu for a hallway that's doubling as a restaurant it's overwhelming and then there's nothing in the case. Maybe try focusing on what you're good at and stay there. Be a take away place and don't advertise that you offer any seating. Offering seating that customers have to literally hike around the building to get to is absurd and I just won't come back. I truly wish the best for the owners but do consider downsizing the menu, offering only what you're good at (not pizza) and don't stay open if you can't keep your pastry shop stocked. read more
