One of my favorite coffee shop finds during our Florida vacation! Located just outside the base, this little spot was too cute. The atmosphere was adorable, with a bright coastal vibe and plenty of cozy places to sit and enjoy your coffee. What really stood out was how much they support other local businesses. The shop featured local artists, jewelry makers, and small businesses throughout the store, making it fun to browse while waiting for your drink! The coffee was delicious, and I loved that their menu included creative seasonal drinks to try. I may have come for the coffee, but I ended up leaving with a pair of cute earrings too! Stopped by Coconut Key again, and their spring menu is officially in full bloom. So many good local choices on the menu right now, but I went with the Spring Awakening Chai: a vanilla + orange chai topped with vanilla cold foam and this one tastes like spring in a cup. Coconut Key is a beachy coffee shop located in Mayport Village just past Safe Harbor. I loved the aesthetic inside, the dog-friendly front porch, and the cute merch and local goods available for purchase. I didn't take a lot of pix because there were a number of people inside waiting for a tattoo. Yep, you read that correctly. I was there around 8:45a on Valentine's Day and they were having a Love Hurts event where a tattoo artist was doing flash tattoos. How fun is that? I do love to order specialty drinks when they are available, so I decided on something from their Valentine menu. Since this was my second coffee stop of the morning, I decided on the Cupid Missed Chai which came with raspberry cold foam. It was a great choice! read more

Such a cute little coffee shop nestled in the quaint Village of Mayport! I got an almond, white chocolate, mocha latte in a regular mug (makes a difference ) and it was made just perfectly. I sat and drank it on the front porch while looking out the views of the beautiful river. The building is aesthetically so pleasing and comforting. There are a few chairs on the Front Porch as well and table and chairs to the side. What a great way to unwind first thing in the morning! read more

Parking can be tricky if it's busy, and the inside gets very crowded with people waiting for drinks while also waiting in line to order. The coffee was very tasty and the girl working the register was nice. Cute, beachy accessories to shop through when you are waiting for your coffee. read more

Just before driving onto the St. Johns River Ferry between Mayport Village and Fort George Island, I stopped at Coconut Key Coffee and Sundries ...secured a coffee before bravely undertaking the epic 10-minute ocean voyage. The local boutique features a great selection of coastal flair; from Aloha bags, local honey, Hemlock hats, and Sand Cloud towels to a fun make-your-own flower bouquet station. The coffee was solid, and the breakfast sandwiches were just as good. The barista was super helpful, and our food and drinks came out in a normal amount of time. There's a cozy indoor seating area plus two outdoor spaces to enjoy. Parking is available on the north side of the building between properties. Very cute spot...we'll definitely be back! read more

This is the first coffee shop we've been to since moving to Jacksonville. I love the location, though parking I can see maybe being hard at times. But it's in a quiet area overlooking the water. What a fun new coffee spot in Mayport!!! This coffee shop has inside seating and a fabulous outdoor patio with table & chairs to chill or work. I came in today a few minutes before they closed at 2:30pm and got the coconut cloud latte, one of their signatures with coconut milk & maple which absolutely hit the spot on this sunny day! They sell "coffee & sundries", the sundries being beachy things like hats, bags, sun screen, all the stuff you may have forgotten on your way to the ferry or the boat. This is a super cute cafe/shop in Mayport village, where my family and I frequent for seafood. We happened to go on a day when there were flower bouquets also for sale by a sweet duo, and the coffee was decent! If you're a fan of coconut, this is definitely the place to go. The only thing I'd mention is this place specializes in iced coffees, so I wouldn't recommend ordering a cortado or a macchiato and expecting a small coffee. read more

The little shop is so adorable I do wish they would've had some of their own merch tho cause I would've bought it all up!! They're dog friendly with some outdoor seating!! I found this coffee shop through the Yelp Collection that had places with jaw dropping views. The shop definitely has a beautiful view of the St. John's River. I arrived on a Tuesday morning to meet my aunt for coffee and exchange Christmas gifts. My navigation gave me correct directions, and I pulled into the dirt parking lot. There was plenty of parking and not a lot of people at the shop. There is plenty of seating inside and outside. I was able to walk in and view the menu and the offerings for sale. They have clothing, honey, stickers, jewelry, and more, along with coffee and breakfast sandwiches from Eggboy. I chose the S.E.C. sandwich with the famous Cloud Latte. The latte is light with a coconut flavor but it is not overpowering and is creamy. The breakfast sandwich was hot with a brioche bun, sausage, egg, and cheese. There's a honey mustard sauce on it but it doesn't overwhelm the sandwich. It adds flavor to the eggs. The woman serving was friendly and kind. Totally blown away today. Moved to Mayport Village about 10 months ago, and found Coconut key a few weeks later. Around that time, I randomly told Katie one day while having a coffee at her bar, the story about how my mom gave me the nickname Abbie. Fast forward to today (Mother's Day) and as I'm leaving Coconut Key with coffee and a croissant for my wife, I look at my own coffee and see "Abbie" written on the cup. Love this place. read more

Adorable and delicious!! First off, the woman working was so friendly, enthusiastic, and helpful. 10/10 for her service! We got the Coconut Cloud and Churro lattes. Coconut Cloud is sweet and tastes like summer. Churro has a wonderful cinnamon spice while still tasting light and refreshing. Great prices and coffee sizes are AWESOME! And the shop is so cute. We sat and played checkers on a board that has tiny seashells and starfish as the game pieces. Definitely our new coffee spot! read more
