Worst pharmacy. They take so long to answer the phone. I think they're overworked since the CVS down the street closed, which had the best customer service! Plus, when you're a customer walking in, you have to hear a recording over and over, you have 2 calls holding. The people behind the counter are very nice. CVS should not have combined 2 pharmacies. Pharmacy service has become worse and worse at this CVS. Understaffed, poorly managed and/or just don't care. And when I left, the front end check out was just as bad with many people waiting to make purchases. Since Aetna bought CVS, customer service has really gone downhill. read more

I normally do not like to give a bad review of a business, but time after time after time CVS does not even meet the minimum standard. The pharmacy very often times get my prescription wrong. I receive text messages and telephone calls saying my prescription is ready, but it is not. I have an ongoing prescription with them from my doctor but it seems as though every month they have to call the doctor up because they've lost the prescription. Even though I live very close, I will travel a further distance to a pharmacy they can get it right. read more

MONDAY MAY 8th @ 7:00pm * PHARMACY PROBLEMS. What happens when you need to know if your critical prescription has been filled? Don't bother calling this CVS. We spent 1-1/2hrs on hold before finally driving over to this location. When we asked about the seemingly endless wait times on hold, the pharmacist had an attitude and told us to our faces that they were NOT ANSWERING PHONE CALLS TO THE PHARMACY THIS EVENING. Wait what??? Wow! Imagine that? This could be absolutely critical for elderly patients who sometimes are not able to just get in their car and drive over. They need answers to critical questions at least within 15-30 minutes.. This is just insane. We've been using CVS pharmacy for many many years and now it may be time to look at other options. I cannot believe this interaction tonight. This is very sad. They closed the other crown valley location. They should have at least kept someone on the payroll to answer phones. At this point i feel i have no other options then to discuss this with their Corporate Office In Rhode Island. Ladera Ranch deserves a better pharmacy and a better pharmacist. read more

I love this store!!! I have been coming here for 15 years. All the staff are always kind and helpful. They always have well stocked shelves and every time I go in their at least one staff member asks me if I need help finding something. Many of their staff have been their for years, I really appreciate seeing their smiling, familiar faces. I want to thank all of the staff for their hard work during the Covid crisis! Horrible wait times. Over crowding. Seems they're more focused on giving out ridiculous vaccines. The IVR is horrible, even the phone hold voice says you can get "14 vaccines at the same time" r u kidding?!? very hard to get ahold of anyone in the pharmacy. I hope management fixes these issue!!! I work in a medical office and I just called to called this pharmacy to call in a new prescription for a child. She, very unprofessional, said the pharmacist is to busy and she would have to pull him. She said for me to send it electronically. All, I wanted to do is make sure It was taken care of before we close. She refused to transfer me to the pharmacist and just hung up. This pharmacy is fantastic! Give them a break! Our other location by Albertsons just closed so they are taking on probably double the load. Be kind be patient. I was kind an patient today and was able to pick up my prescription before closing even though it looked as though I might have had to wait until tomorrow. They made it happen! The people that work here are really very nice, but the pharmacy is usually very crowded. In fact the whole store is really rather crowded. I find it fairly difficult to find anything that you're looking for in the store for some reason. I can't exactly put my finger on it. The only thing I can think of is that it's just a sort of a crowded jumbled mess of a store. And obviously you can never find anyone to help you look for something, but that just seems to be true of any retail store these days. read more

I recently moved to Ladera Ranch and had always been with Walgreens! Unfortunately for me, my Walgreens store on Marguerite closed so, I thought since I was so close to the CVS I'd finally give them a try. This has been one of my worse decisions! I actually was initially impressed at how large the pharmacy was and how many staff members that had, which now means nothing! My first script, took me literally 35mins to pick up. No kidding. I received a text , it was ready, but when I arrived, they had no record of it even being filled. They eventually found it in the ready bin, but I couldn't take it, because they never showed it being filled. Hmmm.... It was eventually resolved. That was mistake #1. #2. On another trip. They tell me my prescription card, which I previously used this year at Walgreens doesn't match my ID. WHAT?! Longer story short. After calling my Insurance company and verifying my information was okay. The representative said, "Oh, we honestly get these kinda calls from CVS all the time" She said, we don't even show a rejection on your account. At that point I called another Walgreens to have them transferred. Better management would do this store good! read more

Pharmacist was rude to me. She kept asking me a question, I did not have the answer to. I could not recall how many mg. in my current prescription. She began to get hasty with me because I couldn't answer her. More over she looked at the current outgoing prescriptions and realized her mistake and literally turned on her heal and just walked away. CVS your pharmacist could do much better. This morning I decided to take a tiny detour and check out this CVS. Its only up the street from my house, but I always enjoy viewing different stores. I gotta tell ya, I left a happy customer. Mind you I only spent my exciting $5 extrabucks, but Kathleen took great care of me! She had such a sweet, bright spirit about her, and truly made an impact on my day. Im hoping that someone in management sees this post. Ever since closing the 2nd location in Ladera, the other one is so overwhelmed. As I sit here in line, 4 cars ahead of me and 6 behind me, I can't help but think how you can't add employees since you had an entire store close nearby. The employees are working their tails off and yet it is still so slow! 20 minutes so far and 2 cars now ahead of me. Pay more and get more people staffed! read more

I never understood why anyone would leave a review for a pharmacy. Now I get it, these representatives are lazy and heartless in helping people. There wasn't even anyone in line, and not one of 10 available pharmacists would help correct the prescription with the Doctor. Got kicked around and had to escalate with the hospital myself. All they had to do was pickup the phone and call the hospital to have the brand of medication changed to one that was available (they ran out of the other kind). Unbelievably dumb! read more

I would agree with the last review. Avoid this pharmacy at all costs. Arrive to the pharmacy 10 minutes before they were closing. The doctor had made a mistake on the quantity of tablets. A few minutes before the pharmacy was closing the doctor spoke to the pharmacist and corrected that, and at that moment, Angela with a terrible attitude said I'm sorry you're gonna have to drive to a 24 hour CVS 10 miles away because it'll take us 15 minutes to complete that prescription. All she had to say was this at the very beginning, but she let both Dr and myself believe this could be filled, if the doctor would change the prescription right away. I've read other reviews and didn't understand while this pharmacy only has two stars. It's people like Angela make a sick person drive 10 extra miles because of her laziness. I usually don't have good experiences at any CVS but l have been to this location in Ladera Ranch a few times and l have experienced such Exceptional Customer Service and this Amazing humans name is PARSA DANESHVARAN HE IS SO THOUGHTFUL AND SO HELPFUL. This is just one of the worst run pharmacies I've ever been to. 75% of the time, they don't have my meds in stock. Last time, the tech didn't even offer to check nearby pharmacies for me, just said that I should look nearby to see if they have it. Then today, I get here just before closing, and they look like they've been closed for a while, no one inside, pharmacy windows closed. Just terrible. read more

Im extremely displeased with the way the workers acted & treated me & my partner when we visited this store late one night. We ended up spending a couple hundred dollars when we checked out, but throughout the entire time we were constantly harassed, predominantly by one of the female workers. She would make us feel uncomfortable by constantly violating our personal space by getting closer than 6 feet & by making strange remarks and unusually staring at us. Multiple times during our stay she would try to sneak looking inside of my partners purse when she wasnt looking. This CVS left us feeling upset and ashamed without cause or reason. We should not be judged, harassed & treated like criminals just because we were shopping after the sun went down. read more

It's 24 hours, but its also slow service. Each time I've come, there is one person working, and people ahead of me in line... all who seem to have questions, or want to debate something with the cashier. Can't complaint hough, I suppose. When CVS closed on Crown Valley in March scripts were sent to Antonia Ladera ranch what a joke! The drive up pick up prescriptions line is ALWAYS 20/min long. This location used to be much better than the other local options that I would go out of my way to have our prescriptions filled here. Since Covid the customer service has taken a huge nose dive. There does not seem to be one competent employee working in the pharmacy and the pharmacist is rude and condescending. If you have monthly prescriptions save yourself the trouble and find a different pharmacy. I wish I had done this back in January when things got worse. read more

I choose this location to get my Cover test to travel to HI 72 hours before departure. It is one of the recommended locations from the state of Hawaii. Well had my test Friday at 2:20pm here it is Monday night NO TEST RESULTS! The entire trip had to be cancelled because of terrible management at CVS. Stay away from this Company! 2021 February takes 4 days and counting to get test results. I will never use a CVS ever again!!!! If you want to travel to Hawaii don't got to CVS to get your test because you won't be going!!!! read more

He could not scan the bar code on my phone and demanded me to read all the digits to him, when I asked him why he could not read it himself, he said it would take 20 minutes for him to read the number? I've never been a huge fan of any particular pharmacy store, but I must say say, I go to this CVS specifically because there is the greatest health/beauty specialist named Kristin who never steers me wrong. She's really amazing! She's sweet as can be, very knowledgeable of all the products there, and she truly cares. Her honesty is refreshing, her displays are impeccable, and she's helped me choose the right product many times over the years I can honestly say I go to this CVS just because of her. This used to be my preferred pharmacy but the quality of care has gone down in recent months. I've written a direct letter to Nermin, the manager, outlining my negative experiences but in summary: very little compassion or respect shown toward customers; no accountability for their errors; and no coordination of care between pharmacy and vaccine administrators or pharmacy and pharmacist for med teaching. This feels less like your friendly neighborhood pharmacy (no one smiles!) and more like a puppy mill churning out for profit. read more
