He is friendly in person, and always calls back immediately when I leave a message. I get all of my prescriptions here. Ever since the pandemic, they have been mailing them to me at no cost! I love it. I liked that they have a drive-thru but I love getting my meds in the mail even more. I hope it never changes back! I also got my flu shot here free with insurance. I love my local CVS store but I would remissed if I didn't tell you what Apple is doing. They are selling gift cards with erroneous and non matching codes. I lost $25 when the card codes couldn't give me my $25 credit to the account and didn't reimburse money either. Apple knows about errors and still no remedy. read more

If I could give this Cvs a zero I would. They filled the wrong prescription, charged me $30 and refused to remedy the problem. Now I'm out $30 with a medication I cant even use. The CVS pharmacy on Lakewood Blvd. Cross streets DelAmo and Candlewood. It seems they don't care about quality service. I had the wrong dose of medication. They don't seem to call the doctor if we need a refill. They don't have a manager on site. They give back the wrong change. It seems they need a different staff. Just waited forty minutes at a deserted drive up window for a six-hundred dollar cash pick up of medicines (all for poor me) at Long's in Waimea. When someone finally came to window after 30 minutes, the unpleasant pharmacist denied that my doctor had ordered insulin, although it is clearly ordered on Mychart and was on CVS.com. She demanded several times that I provide her the type and dose of the newly prescribed insulin from my car, which, of course, I did not have. How this information would have changed anything with an order she ignored, I do not know. This lovely transaction took place following my fifteen-hour Friday shift as a nurse practitioner. She was rude, insisted on calling me ma'am, told me she was "SORRY you feel that way" for inquiring about cost and tryinh to get the life saving drug my PCP had ordered. She did not even thank me when I ponied up six hundred dollars (with ample insurance coverage). I have served this underserved island community and three other states for 24 years practiing psychiatry and addictionology but, as of this evening, I will NEVER send another patient or RX to any CVS in any of states where I currently practice. I am glad I have never treated any one of the thousands of patients I have served the CVS way. read more

This is a very well stocked CVS with poor customer service. Just the other day, I was shopping in aisle 2 when I hear "Security to aisle 2". I thought hmmm something must be going down, so I need to pay and leave. I walk to the register to pay and the guy at the register did not want to honor the price my item was clearly listed for...he argued instead of double checking like I encouraged him to. A woman came out of the office as he went to check on aisle 2 and she yells "Just give him what he wants"....thats when I realized hey...I was the only guy in aisle 2 when I heard that announcement. I was upset but I really needed my item so I paid and went about my biz. So they have poor customer service and racist employees but its very well stocked. read more

This is a nice CVS. I like it better than the one on Del Amo/Paramount. Its nice and clean, the store is large and the aisles are spacious. The bathroom is fairly clean, it just....it could smell nicer. Overall, a nice store. read more

This pharmacy never has the medications I need it's always on "special order" a day or two later. If I find it at another pharmacy they never ans the phone so I can have them send over the prescription it's just a headache I dread coming here. The one on south st is way better and nicer. I changed all my info to that CVS but one (I forgot) n the Dr send it here on Monday and it's Thurs and I'm just now getting it. This store is located in the heart of the Lakewood commercial district, with the Lakewood Center Mall across the street, and across the parking lot from Vons. I occasionally come here to pick up prescriptions for my mom from the pharmacy. Each time I've come here, I didn't have to wait very long. The pharmacy also has a drive-thru. They have weekly specials on certain items on a regular basis, so it's worth it to look through the store circular and see if anything you like is on special. There are the usual items that are found in any other drugstore aside from over-the-counter medications, such as candy, ice cream, milk, stationery/office supplies and household cleaning agents and related items. The employees both in the pharmacy and the general area of the store are friendly enough. Like other CVS locations, this store has that "smell" that's unmistakeable. read more

What the He** is going on at the Pharmacy here? My physicians assistant called in herself to place my prescription request. I got to the pharmacy 45 minutes later after a trip to the bank and they inform me it will be a 15 minute wait. They had at least 5 people behind the counter ( I was informed later about 3 of them were work study/interns) and none of them seemed to be making things move along any faster. Turns out they needed my updated insurance info- fine, but I don't see how you couldn't tell me that 15 minutes ago when I gave you my name. 1 prescription was ready. I was told the other would be an additional wait. I had to leave for work and told them to use their text service when my order was ready.... I didn't get the automated call for TWO MORE days. I went 2 days later to get my order... and they lost it! They had me wait another 15 minutes while they rushed to get my order done. There was 1 girl there both times that I went and she was the only one that seemed to actually be doing her job and getting things done. Everyone else was just holding her back. If you aren't going to have your interns at least do your grunt work to make your job easier- then do the job! *UPDATE* If you go work with Sharif. He is the only person that gets sh** done and I know I'll be taken care of when he's there. read more

Terrible customer service from the manager. All other associates seem great. The manager would not honor a coupon that was supposed to have been printed even though i had a barcode? Why would i need a barcode if i can't use it? Makes no sense. On top of that he decided to be a smart ass about printing the coupon. This review is for the pharmacy, I had to get a prescription filled that is normally not stocked in many locations. On top of that my insurance was having a really hard time approving the prescription, after finally getting my prescription approved the insurance's computer system was having a harder time approving this medication, even though the approval had already been granted. It took about an hour of phone calls back and forth between the pharmacy and my insurance to finally get the prescription to go through! Not sure how many pharmacies would have the patience to handle such horrible customer service with my insurance company! read more

Located across from Lakewood Center Mall in the same plaza as Von's. The store is well-lit and had what I was looking for. I think quite a bit of people shop here since the Free after Extra Bucks items that I was purchasing was in low quantity compared to other stores. The sales representatives were fairly nice and completed the transactions as quickly as possible. Overall, I would come back again if I was in the area in need of a CVS run. read more

I don't want to give this store any stars because of their customer service was more like "are you trying to steal something?" I love cvs but this was my first and LAST time I will shop here! Young cashier greeted me like 3 times asking if we found everything ok and what then looked like he was following me. Walked around towards where my husband was pushing my daughter who was sleeping in her stroller and had the nerve to check to see if there was even anyone in there...are you serious? Then an even bigger douche followed my husband and I to the other side asking if we found everything ok, we said fine thank you only for him to walk right behind me asking if I was ok. I am a frequent cvs shopper and if you don't let me shop in peace you're letting me know that you don't want my business especially if your manager is following us around the store. I will never shop here again. RUN AWAY and just go to another CVS near by. This store may be centrally located but it has its major faults. Customer survice is terrible here. Lines can get long very quickly because they usually have only 1-2 slow cashiers. Every time I've come here there is some issue with either the pharmacy, the cashiers, or a customer yelling and complaining. If you decide to still go there anyway, whatever you do- don't buy gift cards there. If you encounter an issue and decide to report it to management plan on having a lot of time set a side for this as it is a process that takes at least 20 minutes. read more

These people are pathetically incompetent. In fairness, it may be CVS corporate, but my experience has been through the Lakewood branch, so they are getting the review. For months I have been telling them to STOP refilling my prescriptions automatically--I prefer to order online. Every time, they apologize profusely, then (sometimes within minutes) I get a text notification to come pick up my automatic refill. I turned off text notifications, now I get robot calls! The problem is, when they do that, the prescription is no longer available online, because it's already been "filled". Last week I told them I will never, ever come to your store again....DO NOT ever fill a prescription for me. So just now, I got another robot call: "Please come pick up your prescription." This is perhaps the worst customer service I've ever witnessed. I was once walking around the store looking for a funny gift item to give my mom as a present. I found this silly robot bird. My mind was set on buying it, but the mall in front was still closed so I decided to kill 10 minutes looking at snacks and what not. Until this rude, old overweight lady worker started yelling at me that I was going to steal something and that i should pay and get out.
