Specifically chose this branch because their website said it was open until 11 pm as the prescription was called in late in the day. Drive to the pharmacy in great discomfort only to find the website is wrong and they closed at 7. Apparently CVS doesn't seem to care about their customers enough to make sure their information is correct- how sad. So so dissatisfied with the CVS pharmacy staff.. I called ahead of time to have notes in the system for a speedy pick up.. they write the notes in 24 hours in advance I call at 9am sharp to make sure when I come get my meds it's ready for pick up. They explained me that the notes were in the system but my medication was not touched and they haven't filled it so I asked him to please fill it and they told me it will be ready by 11 AM I arrive at 11 AM it is not filled it is now 12:30 and no meds... I cannot believe I made every step on my end to make sure this was picked up on time. I'm late for my meds and I WILL NOT be coming back here. read more

Never been treated so rudely by anyone as the manager of this CVS Pharmacy at 10400 West Charleston, Las Vegas NV 89135. Never been spoken to so rudely, this CVS is the absolute worst in Las Vegas. The waiting times in the Drive-Thru can be up to 90 min to 2 hours. Forget about trying to call and reach anyone in the actual Pharmacy. I was on hold via multiple attempts for up to 2 hours before being disconnected or if lucky eventually reaching someone there. The lines inside or at that Drive Thru are so poorly attended to that its a nightmare to deal with this place. Don't use this CVS! read more

Hands-down worst pharmacy in the city. Not one person called or messaged me to notify me that my prescription was ready. So I drove through to check on it and it was. They take a break mid day. Because apparently making a staggered schedule is too complicated. The pretty girl that opens the window looks at you like you're an idiot until you volunteer the information of why you're there. Just to be told that they didn't run the prescription through your insurance so i either pay $110 for my prescription or i have to drag all of my kids out of the car into the store so they can run my insurance. The worst CVS pharmacy. The pharmacy staff are very rude,negligent and incompetent. I had my child's antibiotic script here and we waited for 2 days just to get it. First, was told that the dose was wrong and pharmacy staff "faxed" the request to the dr's office. I called the dr's office and they got none. I called pharmacy again, said they will follow up. I called the dr's office myself again to get it done because pharmacy will not make the effort to call for such an important medication. And will just fax instead of calling it themselves. Second was another medication, the tech said she didn't fill it up because it was out of stock and didn't even bother to inform me ahead before having me pick up another medication. Visited this CVS earlier today and created a yelp account just to post this review. Went into the store with my sister and was looking for expired products (found a video on TikTok that said you can get a $3.50 coupon for each product). As we were looking at some food products for expired products, an employee named Sue started trailing us and falsely accused us of stealing products and sneaking them into my bag, even going as far as falsely saying that she had us on camera. As I tried to show her my bag to prove I did not steal anything, she just kept telling us to check out and refused to let me prove to her that I did not steal. We ended up buying one thing that my sister had in her hand (which the employee also accused us of stealing, even though my sister had it in her hand for a solid 5 minutes, NOT in a bag) and leaving. Sue, you need to fact check what you say, and make sure you don't falsely accuse CHILDREN of theft. read more

I'm really liking the staff now. Most often I go through the drive-through because of my back injury. They are always super friendly and nice and have an experienced a problem in forever. Major improvement from several years ago. Yes insurance can be frustrating so separating that from what the pharmacy is responsible for is important. I go to this CVS because it is relatively close to my house. The store is decent and they always have everything in stock and all sorts of junk you don't need but buy anyway. But the pharmacy is a whole different story. This has got to be the busiest pharmacy in town. The drive- thru always has a line of cars and it takes forever to get through it. If you go in, there is always a line and all the workers seem frantic. Most of the time, they only have half of my order ready and act like it's my problem. I just think they need to get more staff and train them well. This store is so busy that they should prepare for it. This is not something new, they have been open for like 10 years. read more

Walk in vaccination on the weekend is a falsehood. They will tell you they only take walk ins after 5:30 (not over the phone - only if you drive to the location and waste your time) but fail to tell you they close at 6:00 and therefore don't have time for vaccines after hours. Updating this to the worst pharmacy ever. For a 3 month supply of Tirosint, we found that my wife's prescription was put into a large bag, and the blister packs were cut up. To top it off, the prescription itself was the wrong dosage. You can't just cut up blister packs when they have days of the week on them. And a 3 month supply equates to 3 boxes, so I don't understand that. Then for another prescription for Benzaclin, they told us that they only had half of the prescription in the brand name but then proceeded to tell my wife that it would cost the same $80, for only half of it filled. I hate to say it, but I'm sure CVS corporate would have a field day if they found out that one of their staff was knowingly trying to commit fraud on behalf of the company since they would undoubtedly charge the insurance for the full prescription. While this is the closest to my house, we're done with this place. read more

I have been here three times for the same issue Last week my insurance wanted a 90 day supply for both meds but CVS told me only about One. I went to my doctor to get one script returned and they then told me i couldnt fill the other one. Ok. So they send a message to my Dr last Sat. I called Wed the pharmacist said Yes weve got the 90 day. I show up and its not ready the 90 day script wasnt recieved and now Ill either pay the $80 for a month (free with insurance) or go without. Im leaving For a work trip tomorrow which is why I confirmed. I also got the text messages that my prescription was ready. There was no medication ready. This pharmacy needs to get it together. Exhausting. And Im never coming back. read more

Ah, my local drugstore. What to say. It's pretty decent as drugstores go. Carries all the various products I need. Friendly staff, especially the pharmacy. The pharmacy staff has been extremely helpful in getting me around the stupid insurance company requirements imposed on my prescriptions. (Why insurance companies won't let me have my prescription a week early when I am going on vacation I will never comprehend. Big jerks.) They are also nice about finding coupons for my prescription toothpaste that my stupid insurance company won't cover. I appreciate it. And regarding the Las Vegas Valley-wide chain, I really like that they now have a Chase ATM in every single store. Even the one in Boulder City. Absolute lifesaver! read more

This review is strictly about service at the drive thru window for the pharmacy. Today, I had to pick up three prescriptions for my daughter and I was pleasantly assisted by Kristen! What a breath of fresh air. She was bubbly, friendly, and helpful. For the one prescription I had to drop off, she told me to give them 15 minutes and it would be ready. I made a quick run to the grocery store and when I drove back through, everything was ready. I really appreciate good service these days as it is usually so hard to find. I have had much better experiences with the drive through window at this particular CVS. I am not sure what has changed in terms of hiring practices but the techs that are manning the drive through have been really great lately. I told Kristen to tell her manager that she should always be at this post as she was amazing! Thanks CVS for hiring a helpful crew! I will be back! read more

What the hell is wrong with the CVS in Summerlin on W. Charleston ? My wife stops in @ 9:30am this morning to pick up a couple items. She takes them to the counter where she has to wait because the 2 "ladies" working the cash register were off to the side complaining about another customer(s). Apparently these 2 "women" don't need to be bothered as my wife after 3-4 minutes, of being looked at and ignored had to announce "excuse me"... to get their attention. Well, that didn't sit well with these 2 black employees as they copped an attitude and said "what ? We were talking" my wife said , yes but I'm the customer, we are the customers. The , now pissed off CVS black women told my wife she wasn't welcome to come back anymore.... I have put up with CVS because I just go there once per month for prescriptions. Under no circumstances would I shop the for anything else at any cvs store. I only have 3 prescriptions and almost every month they get one particular prescription wrong. I find the store staff ( in general) clueless on how to resolve my issue. They just do not listen. I even had to tell them that they are not listening to me. When the eventually do listen they discover their mistake. This could take up to two days and hours on the phone to even talk to someone. If went to the store to talk to someone I have to wait a long time as this store supplies the slowest service of any store I go to. Anyway, I give up and will be transferring my business to another pharmacy. Shame that such a large chain could be so incompetent. read more

I came on a Monday afternoon and the lines were pretty packed. Having said that, I was pretty appalled by the customer service at this CVS location. I just wanted to pick up some pictures I had ordered online, so I went over to the photos area like I normally do at all the CVS's. Several employees walked by me, but none asked me if I needed any help. I know they had a lot of customers to ring up, but don't ignore me when I'm standing at the photo section. I got an eye heat compressor there but it was defected and exploded before I could even use it even when i followed the instruction exactly as it says so I went back to get it replaced but the employee who was helping me kept on questioning me and talking to me like I was lying to her and like it was my fault it exploded and was being really rude about it. I am already annoyed that I have to make a trip back to CVS because of a defected item and they have to make it the worst experience. thankfully the second one worked fine and I have no issue with it. this is the closest cvs to me so I come here sometimes but the customer service here is consistently bad and I really dread going here. read more

If I could give this CVS 0 stars, I would. Worst CVS I've ever been to. Waited 45 mins on the phone for them to tell me my prescription wasn't ready. This was at 1 PM. I call back at 4:50 to see if my prescription was ready and no one answered my call for a full hour. A FULL hour on hold? For them to finally answer and say it wasn't ready yet. My prescription was called in a week ago? How does it take that long to fill a prescription!? Confused if their staff was just sleeping back there or just blatantly ignoring calls. Just realized I didn't leave my review on Yelp too. This is a long time coming. We have used this pharmacy due to its proximity to our home but we are going to have to switch. They constantly charge us the wrong amounts for drugs. My daughter's drugs have seemed very high but I figured it was because of a deductible or something. But then one day I went to pick them up and the tech said the prices didn't seem right, went back and checked and then told us they had been charging us the wrong amount the whole time. But even though it was their mistake, we couldn't do anything because you have to tell them within 2 weeks. Unreal! And I just filled a prescription that I have a discount card with and it should be $35 and it is coming up as $100, more than every other time this year. So I try to call them to talk to them about it because their lines are so long all the time. I wait 20 minutes, the girl answers and says I need to talk to someone else, transfers me, I wait another 10 minutes and their system hangs up on me. So now I've wasted 30 minutes to fix their mistake and still have to go in to get it fixed. It's a constant barrage of problems. We went to hand them our prescription that needed to be filled and the guy talks to the lady for 10 minutes, giving her advice, chatting, a huge line forming behind us, all so we can hand them a prescription. Also want to add that they don't pick up the phone. I have literally waited hours and never had someone pick up the phone. Additionally, I finally got roped into using their delivery service and now I'm without my son's medication because it never showed up and I can't get them on the phone to fix it. Oh, plus I recently put in a prescription and 2 months later still haven't gotten it. I've tried calling over and over to get that fixed too. Why should I have to drive to their store to ask a question??????? So fed up. I highly suggest going elsewhere. read more

Here is a great example of a pharmacy technician that went the extra mile and more to help a customer. Around 9pm on Tuesday June 21 I went to CVS pharmacy on West Charleston and Town Center Dr. I was there to fill a prescription that the doctor that performed a surgery on my wife a day earlier forget to give us. He discovered it during a follow up phone call 24 hours after the surgery. He stated that it is imperative that the medication be applied starting immediately. At CVS they were out of this medication. I explained to a pharmacy technician by the name of Monique how important it was for me to get the medication to my wife tonight. Despite being somewhat busy, Monique started calling various CVS pharmacies all over town. It took a dozen calls, but she found the medication in Henderson and made sure that it is being held for me. This type of customer service is always welcome and appreciated, but when it's done when you really need it, you can't help but call that amazing technician an angel. read more
