Why would a pharmacist change my script refills for a durable product. This pharmacy is a disaster. A simple replacement order for a G7 sensor that failed was too much for this location. Went in for rx 4 days after it was submitted. This was on a Sunday afternoon. Pharmacist said it wasn't ready, and instructions were not clear from doctor. She was really snarky in her tone . Said I could wait, but it would be a half hour or more. When I said I would come back, she said "we close at 5 pm" in a rude manner. I won't go there again. Front end of store had many empty shelves and looked disorganized and not reset properly. I usually go to Del Webb cvs near my house, but this one was closer to my dental office. I used to really like this CVS because it was quick, had plenty of parking right out front, and my prescriptions were always ready on time. I usually go to another pharmacy however, today I was in the store to pick up a prescription and I was served by a black young man by the name of Devon. This guy went out of his way to help my husband and I we had kind of a complex issue with a prescription and we were both getting vaccines as well. He was so patient and so genuine, not just with us, but everybody that was standing in that line that he spoke with he made each of us feel important and validated our concerns and questions. Never did anyone feel they were being pushed aside or rushed through their conversation congratulations to management for hiring this young man. The staff at the front desk, and the manager are horrible. My husband went to pick up an order that I did online and he gave them his name. They said there was nothing he gave them my name. They said there was nothing to check with the pharmacy. He went to the pharmacy. The pharmacy didn't have anything so he came home. I was angry because I couldn't understand why he couldn't just pick up something that I got an email of saying it was ready. So I went there to talk to them, and I was upset with them and the staff and the manager lied on its face by saying that my husband never mentioned my name and therefore there was nothing under Pierre, but it was under Catherine. But I know my husband has picked up things for me before and he gives them both names. So I came home and my husband said that he gave them both names so I said come on let's go back there and let them see it and let them hear you. My husband went back with me and as I was going into the store because I was so angry and I'm very sick and I'm on medication that makes me a little dizzy. I fell All the way down and then my husband fell trying to get me up. There was a very nice gentleman who offered to help me and pick me up and called an ambulance, but I told him to go get the manager because it's because of him that this is happening right now. He came out he didn't offer any help. He didn't offer to call the ambulance to call 911 to help me in anyway the guy that was helping me even asked him just to help and he wouldn't. He said he's not allowed to the man got me up. I went in the store and they called security and I made a report. But when I asked the manager for his manager's name because he lied and due to his lies, he caused this whole situation. He said he wouldn't give me the manager's name. When the security came, I wanted him meeting the security guard to hear that the manager would not give me the manager's name. So I called the manager over again and he said that he could not give me the manager's name and I said OK. I want another witness to hear you say that. At that point he gave me his managers first name, but said he didn't know her last name which I find very hard to believe And when I asked him that he didn't even offer to help me in anyway not even to offer to call 911 or ambulance, he lied again in front of everybody and said that he did offer to call the ambulance. I would like to make a formal complaint against this manager, and I would like him to be disciplined. read more

Chi is a fantastic pharmacist that goes out of her way to help. I've gone to the store for years and it is by far better than any of the others I visited. Unfortunately, the vast growth of population is taking a toll on the location. It was never designed to have this many customers, and all you have to do is look behind the counter to see the impact. This is not the pharmacy's fault. Not sure what can be done to deal with size issue other than a change to the Rx storage. But I will tell you, they are far more efficient than the location down the street on Charleston. read more

I think this has to be the worst pharmacy on the planet. I transferred prescriptions here and they claimed not to have received them and that the prior pharmacy was not willing to resend the information. They told me to contact each doctor to get a new prescription sent. What???? Are you kidding me??? I called the prior pharmacy and they explained the situation to me. Once they transfer, they no longer have an RX as their ownership, I get that. They also told me CVS can request a verbal transfer. Why didn't CVS do this in the first place? I called CVS back and had to speak to 2 different staff members to explain this. Finally, after a week, CVS was able to get my RX in the system. They claimed to never have received the transfer fax. A FAX? Isn't this all automated these days and queued in the system electronically??? One of my RX was out of stock. They told me 2 days. It's almost a week now and still waiting. 2 full frustrating weeks of dealing with this pharmacy for 4 simple RXs. Save yourself time and frustration, choose a different pharmacy. I'll be moving all my new RXs somewhere else. CVS Corporate really needs to step in here and do a full assessment of the pharmacy workflow and operational processes. read more

Waited 10+ min in front of cash register with no one attending it and no manager to be found. In addition, both self pay stations were not operable. When someone did show up, rather than helping me, they were quick to point fingers and say who ever is supposed to be there is prob in the bathroom again. Very unprofessional. In addition, someone else prior to me was so impatient, they literally left cash and some change on the counter and left. I wonder if people just walked out the door with unpaid goods. This location is big, open and starting to look its age. Feels a little like a ghost town with lots of open space unused at front of store. They did finally add self-checkout. This speeds the checkout process up a bit, but the whole self-checkout thing is another story. I believe across the board all customers using self-checkout should be offered a small discount on each transaction. After all, we are acting as an employee for small windows of time. Staff is mostly invisible here with exception of Pharmacy and person at checkout. Hard to find help if you need it. Pharmacy is really the only reason we go here, prices for prescriptions are generally lower here than Albertsons next door and pharmacy staff has always been polite and helpful. Prices across the board at CVS seem really high, not sure why so many people shop here. CVS ExtraCare Savings Club saves you some money (mostly on CVS brand products), but you end up with a 5-foot receipt every time you checkout. They should really just add these rewards to your account and allow mobile coupons. read more

I frequently move my prescriptions from one CVS location to another. After standing in line the pharmacist tells me that I need to go to the order window and put in my request there which had about a dozen people standing in that line. Wow! Conveniently located in the shopping center next to my gym, I stop by here after a workout every once in a while to pick up random stuff. I stopped by here to check out their discounted Halloween decorations, which was 50% Off. While I was there, I noticed all of the Christmas displays.....already?! I picked up a few Halloween things and couldn't help picking up some Candy too.....Kit Kat & some Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.....so much for that workout! Will I return? No doubt I will. read more

This location is directly across from my gym, where I'm easily 5-6 days a week. Along with supermarket, coffee shop, my Mom's hair salon, bank, Hallmark store, pet food bakery and even a small Bath and Body Works join a variety of eateries it is never lacking traffic. Lots and lots of people driving with reckless abandon and little to no regard for the laws of traffic or common courtesy. But I digress: much larger than the former (but still listed on Yelp, heloooo) Long's in Sun City which I frequent in the folks' golf cart, this store has a wider array of almost all product and wide aisles. Items I can't find in Sun City geared toward the younger set are abundant here. Oddly, while the still have an Asian, Pfili, Hawaiian section it is smaller than in the aforementioned store. It reminds me of the Long's closed in Boca Park. The whole family gets our scripts from the Sun City locale, as I've mentioned they are like the corner drug store of my youth. So, I can't speak to their Pharmacy. I do love the variety of inventory, overall store layout and quite larger clearance section where I make out like a bandit on overstocked or discontinued products. A big fan of their Green Leaf program, I'm credited up to 1x daily for bringing my own Yelp shopping bag in addition to some of the fantastic CVS rewards program I accrue with every dollar spent. Before couponing was an odd reality show, I had managed to stock pile essentials like hair care, deodorant, body gel and even my high end Angel by Thierry Mugler EDP at BOGO. Staff is always friendly and helpful, frequently pointing out items they know I use when they are on sale (ie sunscreen) So aside from the crazy drivers, I enjoy this CVS but not more than my down home Sun City (literally my Mom & Pop's locale) There are days I'm here 2x easily. Again, oddly, the Sun City locale has a wall of lube/sex aides only rivaled by the infamous Walgreens in the Castro, San Fran. I have been going to this pharmacy for over 10 years and have found the staff and level of service to be consistently excellent. They have a friendly, helpful and well trained staff who have been able to keep up their high standards despite some turnover during my time coming here. Keep up the great work! Have to say, I recently switched my prescriptions over to an online pharmacy for home delivery during the COVID period but I will continue to give them 50% of my business as a thank you to the wonderful staff. I recently had such uneven service at my physician's office (Forte Family Practice on Cheyenne) that the excellent customer service here was like a breath of fresh air. :) read more

Came in to buy hair ties and lash glue. Also came in to ask a quick question if they still did passport photos. Black worker with a shaved head was incredibly rude. She was having leisure conversation with a customer who had already checked out, and made me wait 5 minutes. Then she cut me off in the middle of my question and told me to go to a different CVS for photos. The other customer came back and stood in front of me, and they started having leisure conversation AGAIN, when i was clearly holding two things to purchase. She told me to use self checkout, which i did- but then realized my boyfriend had grabbed me the wrong glue after i had already checked out. I asked her if i could refund it and pay for a new one. She asked me, "what is it?" lash glue "Whats lash glue?" For false eyelashes "Well how much did it cost?" I- "I cant do that for you." And she just went back to talking to the other lady????? Ive literally never had a more disrespectful interaction, I cant imagine how bitter and hateful you have to be to show that much attitude to a little asian girl just trying to get some fucking lash glue. Had to run in here to pick up some last minute things - I'm not from the area but I know all CVS' are the same. It is close to my aunt's house which is awesome because it was really last minute. I came in on 10/4/14, mid-afternoon. I have to say that I was greeted immediately but what sticks out is Austin - he was so nice, genuine and pleasant. I went into CVS this afternoon (third time this week) to pick up a few items. Devon greeted us as we walked into the store and asked if we needed any assistance. We knew just where in the store we needed to go, so we continued shopping. At the checkout counter Devon again greeted us with a smile and asked if we found everything we were looking for. He was very friendly and remembered previous times we were in the store. Great customer service and many thanks to Devon for making our shopping at CVS such a pleasure. It's what we enjoy and what we expect from CVS stores. The store is always clean and it's easy to navigate through the isles. The sale items are always clearly marked and always ring up as such. It's such a pet peeve when items aren't marked properly, resulting in an overcharge at the register. Fortunately, this has never happened to me at this store. As pharmacies go, it's okay. I had a prescription filled that's actually cheaper to get here than by my usual mail order. But I buy most other non-pharmacy items at Walmart when I can, because it's usually significantly less money, even though it's not politically correct. Sometimes CVS has some good sales, and their non-sale regular prices are cheaper than Walgreen's. I'm sure I'll be back - in a month, when it's time to refill the Rx. read more

They messed up my Covid vaccination appointment. I scheduled online. I checked-in 20 minutes early but vaccinated 30 minutes later than my appointment. The nurse was asking me if it was my first or second shot. They should know that based on the appointment. Overall unorganized. Walk-ins were given priority, really disappointing. read more

I'm not sure why there are such poor ratings on this location. I've been coming here for about 6 years and the staff has always been more than helpful. They greet me when I walk in and ask if I need help finding anything. The pharmacy is quick to refill prescriptions and the store selection is pretty expansive. The only negative is that, if you don't have a 20-30 percent off coupon shopping here can be on the expensive side. read more

2017: I love the Pharmacy. They are warm and friendly and helpful. I did not give this store a five star because it is not a clean store. The restrooms are filthy. I cant resist saying "I want to talk to Sampson" in my best Dave Chappelle voice every time im in this place to pick up my medication. ........other than that, just your normal CVS, nothing too spetacular but they get the job done. WHY do I have to give them my insurance . Every. Fricken. Time. This has been my family's pharmacy for 2 years now because it's the closest but every time they have to re-enter my info. Soooo frustrating. My doctor said my sons asthma medicine would be ready at the pharmacy at 4:45 , got there at 5:30 and we are STILL waiting. This review is for pharmacy staff only. I approached the pharmacy window 12 minutes before closing on the evening of Wednesday, May 14, 2014. When the pharmacist saw my prescription he said he couldn't fill it because he "would have to mix it" and it was "too close to closing" and he "still had to close up." He then directed me to a 24-hour pharmacy, about 15 minutes away, and returned to putting things away for the evening. At the other pharmacy, it took 10 minutes to fill the prescription and to "mix it." The pharmacist at Village Center obviously just wanted to go home on time, which I understand, but as a customer, if I approach the window within business hours and you're still operational, then I don't think it's unreasonable to expect service. If you have to work 10 minutes late to accommodate the back office tasks at close of business, that shouldn't impact the customers. Poor service and I will not be returning. read more

Be prepared for a wait. This is the second time I've been here and have had to wait at least 20 minutes for my prescription to get filled even though I waited at least a half hour after my doctor called in my prescription. This time was definitely worse than the first. I needed two prescriptions for the flu and when the tech handed me one, I reminded her that I needed a second. She stared at me blankly for a good 3 seconds, so I repeated what I needed. She didn't speak much English and simply walked off to talk to the pharmacist. "Oh, we just saw that one. You wait."
