This is honestly one of the biggest and nicest CVS locations I've been to. It's located right off Charleston, near Red Rock Casino. It's surrounded by restaurants, shops, and other stores, so it's in a really convenient spot if you're already in the area. I've always loved CVS in general especially because of the CVS ExtraCare program. For only $5 a month, you get $10 in rewards each month, it pays for itself . There are also many discounts through the app. Any CVS brand in the pharmaceutical section is automatically discounted an extra 20% at check out .. I always tell everyone that will listen how they should sign up. What makes this CVS location stand out is how big it is, it's almost as big as a small market. They have a huge selection of everyday essentials, beauty products, snacks, and seasonal items and I even noticed a few brands here that I haven't seen at other CVS locations. Their seasonal section always impresses me. The staff here has always been polite and helpful when I've needed something, which I appreciate, especially considering how busy this location tends to be. Every time I've come by, it's been pretty packed. There is usually a line at checkout and the self check outs are also busy. If you're in a hurry maybe this isn't the best CVS to stop at . Overall, I'd give this CVS 4 stars. I'm still not getting the negative reviews since I've had nothing but pleasant & helpful interactions with both the retail staff & pharmacy staff. As stated before in the reviews the pharmacy has insanely bad communication. Went to pick a prescription at noon and they told me it wouldn't be ready until after 2pm. Look, this pharmacy has rude team members, terrible communication, and inconsistent service. It's really unfortunate for me personally as they are quite literally a short walk away from where I live, and the convenience would be great, and has been the only thing that's kept me coming here; to add, I'll probably still shop here since the store aspect hasn't given me any issues. The problems that I've noticed may not be noticeable if you don't have to routinely pick up your controlled substance prescription every month for almost two years, but in two years I've gotten my head bit off, inaccurate communications about the readiness of the medication in question and the availability of it too, for just Adderall! I've tried giving them the benefit of the doubt, but I've only had one good experience and out of the amount of times I've come here it's irrelevant, or in statistical terms: an outlier. It's actually gotten to the point that I send my partner on my behalf so I dont have to either be accosted for their mistake, or start a fight cause I'm tired of hearing it from them, I'd like to not be a Karen ya know. Extremely disorganized pharmacy when it comes to having monthly prescriptions in stock or contacting the doctor for renewals. Some employees are competent, but too many are rude on top of the incompetence. A major knucklehead is John, who is dumber than a bag of rocks. Pharmacy is horrible. They tell me I have to wait to get a prescription filled unless insurance overrides it. I call insurance and they override it and calls pharmacy and pharmacy tells them my doctor has to call it in and OK the early fill but when doctor calls, they tell him it's pharmacy policy not to fill. So I filled my 1 month script, skipped the first week...go in today because I have a week left and they refuse to fill it saying it's too early. I explain it to them again...it keeps me awake for 24 hrs and I work on airplanes. I take it Saturday mornings...if I take it any later, I either have to call off on Monday or go to work half asleep. Do you know what happens when someone who is half asleep works on an airplane? Things get missed and it could cause an accident! So I'm at risk of losing my job because I have called off so many Mondays. I'll have to pay full price and go to another pharmacy because insurance is for CVS only. Worst customer service ever! Heather the manager stepped in to help with relieving the line from being so long. I needed to make change after using the ATM so I bought a buy one get one free Candy deal and my phone number didn't work. So I tried an old one and that one didn't work and she acted as if she couldn't help me. I have a CVS card you stupid fuck and I've used it many times before. Walgreens isn't such an asshole when it comes to this shit and that's why I always go there. My phone number always works there and when it doesn't they don't look at me like I'm a criminal they just type in the override one. I'm sorry for this disgruntled review because the staff of this location are always nice, courteous and helpful, but the pharmacy (which is what I use primarily) is grossly under-staffed. After moving here from California a year and a half ago, I transferred my prescriptions here from Walmart for location convenience. My scripts, all now from a local physician, are supposed to be on auto-refill, 3-mo supplies--but I've had some difficulty (to put it nicely) getting that program to work. It's not only hit-and-miss but so are the text alerts when the script is ready. The very worst part of dealing with this pharmacy, however, is the ridiculous wait time on the phone should one need to call to talk to a pharmacist! Today, as documented by the screenshot, I was on hold OVER 27 MINUTES just to request a refill!!! Terrible. Customer service is terrible, how can that be allowed? I was on hold for a good 15 minutes, just to speak to Marry. First she told me that she didn't see any of my information. I'm put on hold for another 5 minutes. She asked me if I wanted a months supply of my medication or 3 months supply of my medication. I've never been asked that before I told her I didn't understand what she was asking. I usually get it a month at a time like most medication? She continued to ask the question the same way with more attitude. My stupidity does not entitle her to treat me disrespectfully and rudely. When I asked her to speak to the manager and for her name her tone of voice went high. Manager was equally cold and rude, saying she was trying to save me money, but she never explained the point of her question was in regards to price differences. Don't go here!!! The worst Pharmacy I have ever used. They will not call you as promised if they have a delay or issue with your prescription. If they promise to call your doctor to check on your prescription, they will give up trying if the doctors office is too busy to answer their call. I took my prescription in today at 10:45 am. They said that my prescription should be ready by 1:30 pm. The pharmacist did inform me that there was a code missing from my prescription and that she will call my doctors office to retrieve the numerical code. I asked her if they will inform me if there were problems and she said yes. Well, its 2:15 pm and I go to the CVS to pickup my prescription. I called twice before I showed up, but they didn't answer my call. So I'm at their counter and the pharmacist tells me that my prescription is not ready because its missing a code. They said they tried to reach my doctor twice but there were no answer. So didn't the pharmacist promise to call me if something went wrong? It's been almost 4 hours since they took my prescription. They didn't do anything they promised me. This is called bad customer service. Their excuse was "we're really busy today". Unacceptable. They are unprofessional and they just don't care. I went to Walmart after my disappointment with CVS. Walmart was no problem as usual. People there always treat me with respect and they have a texting service when your prescription is ready to be picked up. I learned my lesson today. No more CVS Pharmacy for me. read more
