The brisket sandwiches are fresh, hot, and packed with flavor. The bakery section is dangerous in the best way possible, filled with so many delicious goodies and sweet treats that it's hard to choose just one. The hot food section had so many tasty options available that I honestly couldn't decide what to get. Everything looked fresh, hot, and delicious. No matter what you're craving, they probably have it. The store itself was super clean, well organized, and surprisingly efficient considering how busy it gets. The staff kept everything moving smoothly, and the atmosphere was fun and energetic. If you've never been to Buc-ee's, you need to stop at least once. And once you do, you'll probably find yourself wanting to stop every time you see one on the road.

The potato chip things were not good. They were stale and soggy. We were able to get a couple of bottles of wine for the hotel room next door. You can still order bbq sandwiches after 8pm, but it will take time to prepare and not as convenient. The drink stations and snack selections are on par with other Buc-ee's. This location was small and did not offer any clothing or merchandise options. For its purpose in this town, away from the interstate, it does what it needs and is a good stop if you are in the area.

But yet the pump pulls a large amount out to verify payment so you're card gets denied it you don't have the amount they want. So basically they do not allow poor people to purchase gas anymore. Absolutely disgusting policy and goes to show you how out of touch they are with the real world.

I have mixed feelings about the entire concept. The prices were average, but not better than my local grocery chain. The brands that they have are national brands mixed in with other brands that I am not familiar with. That is also mixed in with Dollar General items. On the rare occasion I go to a Dollar General, I expect lower quality items at average prices. This felt no different. It's simply DG trying to break into the grocery business.
