You can't get someone in the pharmacy at all. You have to leave a voicemail and you don't get resolution. It's all automated and does not work if you're calling on behalf of someone else. This is the worst system ever. Edited to add- the pharmacy called me back really quickly. But why can't I get a text saying the prescription is ready? They sent me a confirmation text when I had to leave a voicemail. This seems like so much extra work so know a prescription is ready. 1. I have to call and leave a vm for the pharmacy. 2. Receive a confirmation text. 3. Pharmacist has to listen to my vm and then verify information. 4. Pharmacist has to call me back (and let's hope I pick up) 5. Then I have to pick up my prescription When it could be 1. Get a text saying prescription is ready 2. I pick up prescription. read more

This has the worst pharmacy staff. Went to pick up a prescription and they gave me a month's supply instead of 3 months. When I called back they asked me to come back and pick up the rest . I went 2 days later and the tech told me I had picked up a 3 months supply. After giving her several details she kept insisting that I had picked up a 3 months supply and it was on the record . Finally the pharmacist told her to text the other tech and they found out that he had placed it somewhere and had entered it as a 3 month supply for 20$. After finding this out she never bothered to apologize or feel bad that she had been wrong. What kind of training is this? read more

I switched to this pharmacy due to the convenience of it's location. It doesn't deserve a single star. The staff that works at this pharmacy is extremely juvenile and unprofessional. Sadly, on many occasions I have felt extremely uncomfortable when I've overheard the pharmacist and employees making fun of a pharmacy customer openly after they walk away or talk to them on the phone. They openly talk and joke about everything inappropriate, including things that have nothing to do with the job. I am fine with anyone having fun on the job, but most of the time, the irrelevant conversation takes priority over the customer. I again preface I have gone there out of convenience. Last night I was finally the subject of their laughter while I was in the drive-thru. I left feeling so frustrated and helpless. I noticed ALL of them were laughing at me as soon as I started to pull away. I had received a text 2 days prior alerting me to having a prescription there. My doctor had called in 2 additional that day, so I went to pick up all 3. They did not have the one that I received a text about ready and didn't seem to have an explanation as to why I received the text, saying it was just an automated text. But why did I get it? They were snarky about it and let me know it would be a half hour. I told them I did not feel like waiting that evening for them to fill. Shut the window in my face and sat there thinking they were ringing up the other 2 that already were ready. Soon the employee, and who I think was the pharmacist came back to the window and asked me what else I needed. I told them hadn't given me the other medication. They all proceeded to tag team with each other to tell me that I told them I didn't want any of them. Literally the entire pharmacy staff is ganging up telling me I said something different. One after the other kept echoing "YES that IS what you said. Yes I heard it to. You said you didn't want them. That's what you said." I felt like I was being picked on at a grade school recess. Why would I drive away without getting the 2 that were ready? By their logic, this would mean I just drove to the pharmacy for absolutely no reason. Rather than helping assist, it was more important that they all made sure I looked as big of an idiot as possible rather than just proceeding to get the rest of my order and ensuring I was taken care of. It would make no sense that I would take the trouble to go to the pharmacy and leave with nothing. This was an out of body experience for sure. I'm glad my 32 year son was in the car to reassure me I said what I thought I said. And said it perfectly clear. I couldn't believe how they all stood there gawking and squawking out the window focusing so heavily on reprimanding me. It was impossible to tell who the adult was. Unfortunately, I think it was the pharmacist who was the main perpetrator and was snarkiest and most immature of the whole bunch. They finally handed me the medication that was ready, but never asked if I actually had any questions about the medication or for the pharmacist. The young girl at the window on the register just hatefully handed them to me. I started to slowly pull away, when I realized they were all in there laughing hysterically at me. When they noticed I saw, one of the girls dramatically put her hand over her mouth. I would love for someone to review the video footage. I also hope it has sound. The icing on the cake was when I got home and realized they had shorted my medication. This is not surprising after having witnessed many times they are not focused on what they are doing. This has also happened to me 2 previous times with the staff. I reluctantly called the pharmacy back, but my call went in to a voicemail. They make you leave messages with the pharmacy staff now and won't answer calls. I received a text that my voicemail was received and that I would get updates, but here we are 24 hours later and I have not heard anything. I was not able to go in person today due to work demands, yet also terrified and anxiety ridden at the thought of seeing them all again. I have also not received an update that my initial medication from the infamous text is ready yet either. This pharmacy staff doesn't have a care in the world, especially not in delivering and meeting customer needs with professionalism and competency. I know why people are saying they receive such slow service here. The staff is more worried about their extra curricular activities and side conversations that they are not subtle about whatsoever. I have now contacted Customer relations with CVS and filing a report with the Kansas State Board of Pharmacy. CVS has plenty of cameras in pharmacy and need to see and hear this behavior. read more

This is the worst pharmacy. Very slow and rude staff. They tell patients misinformation and lie about when prescription were called in.

I consider myself a relatively patient person, however, I have been astonished over-and-over by the unrelenting rudeness and lack of professionalism at the Woodland location, by the pharmacy staff. I've brushed it off many times, because I understand that retail pharmacy can be a tough job. However, after trying out other CVS locations, including the 119th location in Olathe and the Overland Park location on Quivera, it has become very clear that the Woodland location is unusually and consistently subpar in customer service skills. I strongly recommend avoiding this pharmacy. read more

I have tried to like this CVS because it is so close to our house but they are consistently understaffed. I will have a script called in hours before and they still don't have it ready and then you wait another hour for them to get it. We will not be going back. read more

Jada is possibly the worst pharmacy tech I have ever encountered, and the managers seem to find his work acceptable since they do not make any course corrections. In our experience, Jada is very unprofessional, doesn't take anything serious, does not follow through on his personal commitments, and does not own any of his mistakes. He is the very last person I want handling our families' health and we will be transferring our prescriptions to a different pharmacy. read more

I use CVS for my pharmacy and let me tell you my CVS on Woodland has an exceptional pharmacy. I've never seen a team work so hard and so quickly in my life. The head pharmacist is so amazing. He is always ready and willing to answer customer questions and help the employees, even though he always right in the middle of cruising through multiple prescriptions. Everyone who I've encountered is friendly and will talk to you like you are a person and not just another drop off or pick up. I think maybe one time I got a girl who I don't think was a regular was not very friendly. I think she was a fill in because she didn't get my system. I always hand my license and credit card(in the drive thru) at the same time and everyone totally knows what I'm doing. She gave me my credit card back just to have to get it from me again. Telling me "we don't do that" Oh well one time encounter. I can't say enough about this CVS as I don't go to any other ones. You guys really are hard working, busy bees zooming around and still have time to be friendly! I applaud you! read more

My doctor called in a Rx for my terrible sore throat at 9:30 am yesterday. Waited all day for a text from CVS saying that it was ready. No text arrived. Lived with the pain all day, and finally called CVS at 5 p.m. to ask about status. "Well, we're still filling scrips from yesterday, so we haven't gotten to it yet. And we don't have the lidocaine anyway, so we'll have to order it in." Are they kidding?! If I'd known that, I'd have taken the Rx to a pharmacy that had it in stock. It's pain medicine! So today at 1 p.m., I drove to the CVS store to see what was going on. But they STILL didn't have the Rx ready! The clerk, who couldn't understand why I was upset, said they would call around to see if they could find it at another store. I waited a while and asked her again. Then all of a sudden a pharmacist shouts from the back, "I have it ready!" What? I thought they didn't have it in stock. "Well, it came in this morning." But they never bothered to keep me updated, and even their own staff was unaware that it had arrived in the store. Meantime, I had been dragging myself around because of extreme fatigue and a swollen throat that was killing me for 24 hours longer than it should have. If the staff at this CVS had done their job right, I would have been able to use the medicine 60-90 minutes after it was called in by the doc. This was just a terrible performance, and doubly insulting because the only apology I received was a sarcastic "Sorry." They acted like I owed THEM an apology. You know, when you're not feeling well, things are bad enough. When the pharmacy staff screws up, that makes things worse. But the topper is when the staff treats a person, who is not feeling well to begin with, as if he has no legitimate gripe at all. The pharmacy staff at this CVS simply doesn't care about its customers, even those who are ill. Of course, I told the diffident clerk that I would not be using this CVS in the future. I have only had good experiences with the store and the pharmacy at this CVS. The staff is always upbeat, friendly, and helpful. The store itself isn't the largest CVS that I've been too, but they've always had what I was looking for. It's not the smallest either. The pharmacy has always had the prescriptions in stock that I've needed, and they send me a text whenever I've been on something that needed to be refilled. It's not a one and done text either. They remind you more than once. They also send the text well before you run out, very convenient. I typically go inside for my prescription. The drive thru can be rather slow, but I don't experience any lengthy waits inside. There are probably some pharmacies a little closer to where I live, but the staff at this location is what keeps me coming back. read more

I had to fill an RX for an outpatient procedure that my insurance didn't cover. It was quite pricey and I did price comparison between Walmart and Costco and found only a $5 savings between all three. Decided to go with CVS as they were the last and closest I checked. They found a coupon from the manufacturer that reduced the price by around $50. So grateful! read more

I went to the pharmacy on my way home one day just to grab a few makeup items to try out. I grabbed a few things that sparked my interest. When i went to the cashier to pay the sweetest girl helped me and gave me some really great suggestions on lip products.
