I had to take my child to the pediatrician this morning due to wheezing. Over 6 hours later, and CVS still hasn't filled the RX for two inhalers that my kid needs to, you know, BREATHE. No one answers the pharmacy phone line, so there is no way to tell ahead of time if your prescription is ready for pickup. Literally all someone had to do was throw a box in a bag (no measuring, no mixing) and call it a day, but instead they were flippant with me, shrugged and said maybe it'll be ready later. It's already after 6 pm and a toddler has to go to bed, so "maybe later" isn't remotely helpful. Horrible attitude, very dismissive and unhelpful. read more

I totally understand the people working in pharmacies or any medical field are exhausted. But they still should work with compashon. People who come to the pharmacy are SICK! They don't feel good and they need help! People don't come to the pharmacy to hang out or because they want to, THEY HAVE TO! They should never push away a customer, tell a customer they can't help them or don't know how to help a customer and send them away. For being open for 24 hours this pharmacy should be a reliable pharmacy and if they don't want to be reliable they should close! I just went to this CVS for a quick Chapstick run. But in the brief time I was here, I noticed that the store was orderly and the shelves were stocked nicely. I am not sure if this is because we came in before the madness began or if this is their usual state. Whatever the case, the neatness was appreciated as it allowed us to be able to get in and out quickly. The prices were what to be expected from other CVS stores and the employee who helped us out was quite nice. I am not from the area, but I would be glad to have this CVS in my neighborhood. read more

I wish I could give them zero stars or a negative score. This is the WORST pharmacy ever. The minimal staff they do have on hand is completely incompetent. They never have enough people working their busiest hours and lines will be 20+ long. Forget about calling them because you will be one hold forever (literally minimum 20-25 mins) or they just don't ever answer the line. They consistently say they never received a prescription even when you dropped the prescription off yourself and watched them supposedly enter it into the computer. It is by far the thing I dread the most every month. Honestly I'd rather have my period than deal with this pharmacy. We are switching to a pharmacy further from our home but much nicer and definitely staffed with much more polite and competent people. read more

This is the worst Pharmacy. If you use the drive thru the wait is forever with a long line. If anybody comes to the drop off window you wait longer. They don't acknowledge you when you drive up. Tonight the man just kept his back turned to me and chatting and laughing with the Pharmacist while I'm parked there in the cold with the window rolled down waiting till he stopped chatting. He was not friendly at all didnt give me a pen to sign with and didn't clip my Visa card to the tablet. I had to get ahold of it off the edge of the tray with my seatbelt off in order to pick it up. He handed me my prescriptions and never said a word or thank you. He just turned his head started chatting with the Pharmacist again and started scanning prescription numbers from a list of their completed prescriptions for the day. I guess that meant he was finished but didn't say anything. Its almost like they treat you like your stupid and not human and he never asked for for my pharmacy rewards number. I was tired this was actually my third time here today because the lady with the glasses at the drive thru earlier, who kept yawning without saying a word, prior to him said it was not filled to come back in an hour. The second time I went it still wasnt ready after 4 hours. The Pharmacist said it was on hold to wait another 15 mins. I finally got my RX but I just wonder why are they so rude? They could be friendly they're making money off of us. They need to learn some proper customer service, and manners. They all seem to have a chip on their shoulders. I would give the pharmacy a zero if I could, If it wasn't for the only compentent persons in the pharmacy department, Chad and Sidney, and the fact that it's my approved pharmacy on my insurance, and walking distance from my house, I wouldn't go back. This pharmacy fucking sucks! You place an order for refills and they'll text you that its ready to show up and find that, 1, its not ready or 2, they never even got the order, so they say! I have to take transplant rejection medication everyday, and I will call in my refill at the earliest time my insurance will allow. My life saving medication is never ready and its always the same damn issue. It's like no one in pharmacy has a fing clue. My boy Chad is the only one back there that knows what how to run the pharmacy. WTF! Ridiculous!! Every time I have to pick up medication, Ive got to carve out at LEAST an hour or more! The CVS on FM423 has, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Most have no compassion for the patients. Also, one guy always is coughing, not covering his mouth, rude, he's normal in the drive thru. (Hint hint coorporate) One lady picks her nose. I would LOVE to switch pharmacy's, but CVS is my insurance preferred pharmacy. I have called 4 times a day for the past 2 days trying to check on a prescription and i sit on hold for about 10 minutes before I hang up. How RIDICULOUS. I tried to use the minute clinic here. I was third in line and after 30 minutes i checked the screen and the nurse was at lunch. I left. They should call it the 90 minute clinic. I went to a real doctors office instead and got better service. CVS is the best you can do is have your nurse sneak out for lunch while your customers sit in your uncomfortable "pre-school" size chairs out in the store (there is no real waiting area) then you should get out of the business now. read more

They mixed my 2 month olds medicine incorrectly. If I could give negative stars I would. My 2 month old has thrush and needed an anti-fungal. When I picked up the fluconazole it was REALLY thick. The instructions said to shake well before each use but when I shook, nothing moved. I took it back and spoke to the pharmacist. It was mixed incorrectly. I did actually give him one dose before realizing that it probably wasn't correct. Thankfully I called poison control and they said it may just upset his stomach. God forbid they screw up someone else's medicine and it cause serious side effects. Do NOT use this pharmacy. read more

I'd like to give personal props to Robert who works in the pharmacy department. A former Little Elm resident, now Arlington resident; I needed to have my prescription transferred. When I called the Arlington store, the pharmacist (sounded like she was Nigerian) kept interrupting me and telling me she couldn't find any record of me. Very frustrating. So I called the Little Elm store and spoke with Robert who found my records and offered to call the new store so I wouldn't have to deal with that rude heifer. THANK YOU, ROBERT! I'm giving this review 3 stars only because of other issues that I've had in the retail space. Long lines, no other employees coming to help check out in a timely manner and lack of greeting upon entry. As someone who was one of the first pharmacy techs hired for CVS in Texas, I can assure you my store was not run that way. Retail space- 2 stars Pharmacy- 4 stars, so I met somewhere in the middle. Went to this CVS at around 12PM on a Friday to get passport photos taken. Was a new associate at work and his manager was running him down everywhere and trying to teach him 101 things all at once. Which is fine, new hires need to learn, but not only did it take over 30 mins to get my pics printed, they kept making me wait while they were busy helping customers at checkout. I had been there earlier than any of them. So apart from being short staffed, the manager trying to pull the new associate into everything he did was exasperating to watch. I left with a 'good luck' to the new guy. Would not recommend. read more

I like to give places the benefit of the doubt. Maybe a bad day etc. The three months I have lived here and needed Rx have horrible times waiting. 30 min on hold - waiting in line for rx - it's insane. Customer service is amazing all the techs and pharmacists. They get the four stars. For being amazing It's you CVS corporate that deserves the horrid review. You're employees are doing the best they can with the resources and being short staffed. Most don't take the time to write a nice review only negative ones, without research. From what I understand you lost a contract and you're cutting staffing drastically with the same amount of rx coming in. What you're going to do, is drive your remaining customers away. I've been using this pharmacy for a year now and the people working here are so apathetic they act as if I'm a pain in their rear end just for bringing a script here to be filled. Thank goodness there are 3 other pharmacies close by. I receive surveys each time I get a prescription filled and express my dissatisfaction but nothing changes. They are also EXTREMELY SLOW as well. This CVS pharmacy gets 1 star for serving it's sole purpose-eventually I get my prescriptions. No stars for it's slow, negative, unorganized customer service who rarely answers the phone-average hold time when calling is 7-10min. They call to tell me my prescription is ready and then when I arrive there's always some sort of mix-up. Once they said "well you never came so we put it away" I had just received notice that it was ready hours prior! I had to wait another hour. Twice they told me my $0 co-pay script would be $100 and I wait while they sort it out. It's a mess! Totally a one-star rating. I would give zero stars if possible. While I don't mind CVS as a store where I can shop for conveniences at any hour, this particular pharmacy stinks! So many mistakes have been made with prescriptions (even ones ordered by their own Minute Clinic medical staff on site). The staff in the pharmacy are sometimes argumentative with customers. They call out HIPPA-protected confidential information about an individual or his/her prescriptions in a loud voice (from back computer to customer waiting in line). There are usually delays resulting in long lines and wait times. Their pharmacists behave as though inconvenienced when customers/patients ask questions. People behind the counter are always frowning, which a good indicator of how they may be treated by their supervisory staff and corporate. I cannot think of anything positive to say about CVS pharmacy at the Little Elm location. I tried to think of something to celebrate about them, but I just can't. That's sad, right? My insurance company uses CVS as its distributor that will reimburse. So in order to maximize my insurance benefit I have to stick with CVS for now. Other locations are "a little better" but not much. Alas.... Sigh.... Oh well.... read more

This is the worst CVS in the area. The drive thur is terrible. I have waited up to 30 mins in line behind one car and the average wait after trying 4 times has been 20 mins. The people at the window barely speak English and are very unfriendly. So, I went inside and it was the same..little English and very unfriendly. I hate giving bad reviews, but they need to know what's wrong so they can fix it. Most CVS's are extremely busy and backed up which can wear on you as an employee, but their customer service is the worst of the worst. I've been there twice to get medicine for my baby and gotten home to a bottle or powder that they didn't even mix. In the profession that those employees are in, they need to be extremely careful, but instead of taking their time to check their work and help their patrons, they take their time talking to one another about job-work related things. read more

I have been using this location for a year and a half and have finally had it. Pharmacy is the worst. If you plan to get a prescription filled, go across the street to Walgreens instead. My husband and I waited 25 min at the drive thru and never moved up so we went inside. They messed up our prescription order and forgot to give us one so we had to go back. This was the last straw. I have been sitting in the drive thru for 30 mins with a total of 4 cars in front of me. CVS pharmacy is the worst! I was a loyal customer for years, but recently the customer service has declined. Many times, I'd call in a prescription, select a pick-up time (typically hours later, to give the pharmacy time to fill), then go to pick it up at least an hour past the time I selected, only to be told that my prescription wasn't ready yet and it would be at least anywhere from a half hour to an hour or more wait! Now, this is after waiting in line for a half hour! Not cool! When I finally complained (after this happening to me about five times in a row), the pharmacy tech gave me attitude and was really quite rude. Needless to say, I am no longer a customer of CVS and promptly transferred all of my prescriptions to Walgreens. read more

This is my favorite one stop shop, and it seems it's everyone else's too. Pat is always there during the day and is always smiling and helpful. Managers are actively asking customers to find anything they need, and the store is well maintained. The pharmacy is always a cluster F, and don't expect to great consistently good customer service. Pharmacists seem always overwhelmed, they can never find your prescription within the first few minutes, and are understaffed. However, this location does carry Blue Bell ice cream yall, so go get you some! Oh and watch out for the crazy drivers in the parking lot, I always see close call accidents. read more

Dropped off Rx for my daughter which just had surgery, and needing her medication to reduce her pain. I explained this to the pharmacy tech, still waiting after well over an hour. They don't seem to care about their customers. Fyi, dropped off Rx at 4:11, at 5:00 they told me 20 minutes to get it done, it is now 5:37 and they are still taking their time. My wife just texted me informing me that her pain meds from the hospital has worn off. Very frustrated that they don't care. I have been going here for almost 2 years and it never gets better. There is only one pharmacist (male) and one front counter guy that is nice and I rarely see them anymore. I believe her name is Bonnie (pharmacist). The RUDEST person I have ever met in my life. I just don't understand how customer service can be so bad. I am in healthcare and even on my busiest/hardest work days, I would never tell a patient that "I'm sorry we can't add more days for you to get your prescription because CVS gets fined for patients getting it late. CVS just doesn't like that. Never-mind, I'll refill it."That's so tacky, so disgusting, I don't get how this CVS keeps hiring these kind of people and this is someone that is supposed to be professional??
