I had a good experience the first time so I hoped for the best! I had a somewhat urgent prescription needing to filled, especially as I was about to head out of state for a week. Tracey was kind, but told me that they didn't have my prescription in stock and they would order it for Monday; unfortunately, I was unable to wait two more days and they suggested I call to other pharmacies in the area to see what their inventories were and Big Y would transfer the prescription to them. I was disappointed and thought I would be spending the rest of the afternoon navigating different pharmacies. I was still at the store a few minutes later picking up a few other things and contemplating the rest of the day's logistics, when Tracey began calling my name from down the aisle. She found me in the store and told me she had called and found the prescription at CVS Walpole! I was so happily stunned that (1) she called to find the medicine somewhere else and she'd transferred the prescription and (2) she walked around the store to look for me and let me know after I missed her call on my cell. These extra steps saved me a ton of effort and time. I very, very much appreciate this kindness and effort!!

I transferred my pharmacy business to Big Y Pharmacy 5+ years ago because the customer service at CVS was so consistently atrocious. The only reason I went today was because my doctor accidentally sent my prescriptions there instead of Big Y. This gave me the opportunity to see if anything had improved over the past 5 years. It did not. Still long lines, still customer service reps who seem bitter and put out instead of welcoming, caring and helpful. There was a problem with one of my prescriptions and instead of taking care of it right away I was told to come back in two hours. When I explained that I had a ride and couldn't come back in two hours because I can't drive because I was under anesthesia earlier today I was told, "Sorry, we're about to close the pharmacy for lunch." Seriously??? Management can't figure out a way to rotate staff through lunch breaks so the pharmacy can stay open 24/7 as advertised. That really is false advertising. It should say open 23/7. I know CVS is a big enough chain that my opinion won't matter. They are so big and their customer base is too lazy to seek out better options so CVS will simply remain another terrible cog in the whole corrupt healthcare industry. I will just quietly go back to Big Y Pharmacy where all the pharmacists are friendly, caring, know me by name and are familiar with my prescription history. That's how a business should work!

She took the time to listen, offered thoughtful advice, and provided clear recommendations for managing my cough and chest congestion. Her professionalism, knowledge, and genuine care made a stressful situation far easier to deal with. I am a regular customer at Walgreens and have consistently appreciated the convenience and service provided at these stores. Unfortunately, this visit fell significantly short of those expectations. Upon checkout, I encountered two cashiers who seemed unfamiliar with the computer system, leading to an unusually lengthy transaction. This alone was inconvenient, but I was also subjected to an unexpected request to be ID'd twice. This was particularly confusing, as I have never been ID'd for purchasing any items at Walgreens before, especially not this particular item. It felt excessive and out of the ordinary for this type of purchase. To make matters worse, when I expressed some frustration, the front desk staff member with a beard responded dismissively, telling me to "calm down, buddy." This was not only unhelpful but also unprofessional, further escalating an already frustrating situation. I would like to understand why I was ID'd for a typical purchase and whether this is a new policy. Additionally, I would hope Corporate Walgreens would take steps to ensure that its employees are properly trained in both the computer systems and in customer service etiquette, to prevent situations like this in the future. Another wonderful CVS Pharmacy…read more Another store that has that AWESOME remodel, like Dedham & Newton Highlands, which is extremely AMAZING (in comparison to other CVS stores and other pharmacies). Clean, new, and includes all essentials at good prices. Store is organized, and everything is priced well and correctly. This location has a drive thru pharmacy as well, if this is your pharmacy that may be useful. Only problem (I had the same issue yesterday with another CVS): the parking lot of this store is fine, but is tiny. If you pull into any of the parking spots near the storefront, it is incredibly hard to back up out, and it is very confusing to know how to exit the plaza if you aren't from the direct area. Signs, and expansion of the parking lot would be useful, yet for now it works pretty good for me.

Drove there to learn that not only was it not ready, but the printer was broken. I was told they would reach out if the printer got fixed and my order was ready. So I drove an hour to the party without it. While at the party I got a text telling me my order was ready, so I drove back. When I arrived the woman behind the counter was shocked to see me, and said "I feel very badly, as it's still not ready. That wasn't a message you were supposed to get". So yet again I left without what I ordered and needed. There are no words for how much I dislike this store and its inability to actually treat its customers properly.
