The pharmacy with by far the most thoughtful, professional, knowledgeable team of problem solvers. I know they are excellent and good kind people. Terrible service. Curt employees that are no help. It's the worst business in the area.

I will never fill another prescription at the Medfield CVS. Called for a refill last night and was told it was on hold and the doc would have to call. I called him and he did. I went to pick up the prescription and was told they were out, which apparently was the reason for the hold but that wasn't communicated to us. Several phone calls later I found a pharmacy with stock and the helpful Walgreens pharmacist said she would call CVS and get the prescription transferred. Ten minutes later she called back; the CVS clerk told her the prescription had been filled and was waiting to be picked up! I tried calling CVS but sat on hold for the entire 15 minutes it took me to get back in my car and drive there. Had to wait, blood pressure rising with each minute, until the pharmacist was free. Of course no prescription was waiting because they are out of the medication. AND she couldn't transfer it to Walgreens because the doctor called it in today, making it a new prescription which she cannot transfer. Now I have to call my doctor AGAIN and ask him to call it in to Walgreens. Misinformation and poor communication from CVS pharmacy at every step. read more

Takes three days or more to fill a simple prescription. The automated system says it will be filled in a few hours - don't believe it. This has been going on for at least three months. I have started to move my prescriptions to Osco pharmacy inside Shaws supermarket. So far they are a significant improvement over CVS pharmacy. read more

The worst. Ask a question will take ten minutes to get through on the phone. If they dont have somthingvthey wont even tell you. Have your doctor send a prescription and tep plus hours later it is not ready. Stupid coupons on half the items in the store. Why dont the just lower the prices ten percent and forget the gimicks. read more

I'm changing pharmacies. The pharmacists and most of the techs here have been terrific; however, there is a petite, dark-haired young woman technician who either doesn't grasp patient confidentiality and HIPAA or is entertained by broadcasting people's prescriptions. I have reminded her that the law requires patient privacy and she continues to ignore this. She announces prescriptions on file even when those prescriptions aren't being filled. It's baffling. When this happened initially, I brought this to the attention of a pharmacist on duty, who understood, apologized, explained that the person was (then) new to the job, and assured that they will remind her. This tech has now been on the job for quite sometime and still continues to disregard privacy and the law. My friends have also noticed or experienced this, so I don't think this is something that this pharmacy takes seriously. It's too bad, since this is otherwise a good pharmacy. read more

This review is for the Minute Clinic. I arrived at 11 AM on a Tuesday. There had only been two previous patients that day on the check-in list. There were no patients around when I arrived, yet Florence (the provider for the day) continued to do who knows what while I waited another 20 minutes. She was very impersonal and mostly seemed like she just wanted to get me through the process rather than actually provide adequate care. If all a provider needs to do is read through a very long check list and check boxes off the electronic medical record then I can diagnose myself. I have a history of chronic sinus infections and this was a classic case for me...but since I suggested as such rather than listen to a patient who also works in healthcare and knows her body well it was almost if she was out to prove me wrong...just so she could prove her value. I didn't get an accurate diagnoses....because guess what...three days later I had to go to my PC to get antibiotics for a SINUS INFECTION. There was no personalized care...her goal was just to get me out...which is generally the case at most doctor's offices so...hey...it gets two stars because at least I didn't have to wait two hours and pay $300 to get bullshit care. read more

This review is for the Minute Clinic. My overall impression - terrible! My first visit I thought was a fluke. Nope, two visits and two misdiagnosis's. This last visit was the worst. I went in for a rash on my arm and was told it was poison ivy. Umm..it's the end of November, poison ivy is not out nor am I stomping through the woods. I questioned shingles. I was told, "Definitely not, this is topical. You clearly touched or rubbed up against something." Fast forward three days and my rash is a little worse. (The cortisone cream you recommended did nothing, thank you). I made an appointment with my primary care Doctor, and guess what - shingles! My primary care Doctor could not believe this was misdiagnosed after showing her a picture of the rash on the day I visited the Minute Clinic. She also stated to stop using cortisone ASAP as it would only make things worse by suppressing my immune system. This is the LAST time I will throw money away at CVS Minute Clinic in Medfield. I urge you not to waste your time or money at this clinic. read more

This cvs cares . They always put customers first ! They are there when you need them and even if you don't need them they still ask if you need help with anything. They are so attentive to their surroundings and always look forward to be at work . They go above and beyond . More company's should show they care like the cvs staff. The pharmacy is pretty busy but what do you expect with it being the only pharmacy in town . They still get your medications out quick and efficiently. They can always answer your questions and send you to a staff to help fund a certain product . Great job guys and keep up the great work! read more

This store is consistently GREAT. From the long ago time of 2011, and many years before that the Medfield CVS shared a space with D'Angelos, which had a small, small, space in what should have been ALL CVS. In 2011, D'Angelos closed down their Medfield location, allowing CVS to expand and have, a well designed store, huge back parking lot, and add a drive thru pharmacy to the premises. Back before the renovation, this was a terrible, TINY CVS, but now: it's consistently clean, consistently has friendly staff, a customer-friendly, amazing photo area, good layout, and is overall very organized. The staff are consistently friendly and quick. They have a MinuteClinic (how many CVS stores have those?). Additionally, it evens seems this location has more items on sale, and better regular prices. Additionally, it is the ONLY Pharmacy throughout the small Town of Medfield, so this is the only place to go (probably why they offer so much great stuff...). Overall, this is a great place to stop and pick up some food, beauty products, medical items, health items, stop for the MinuteClinic. Also, I highly suggest parking in the LARGE lot on the side of the building, the front lot is small and sometimes difficult to get in and out of. 5 stars. Go, go CVS! read more

It would just be great if CVS could do all its customers a favor and take out these self check out regiaters, they are a joke.

I know it's strange to review a CVS, but I had to about this one-everyone is so nice, friendly and efficient that it's important to let people know. I used to go to the one in Millis and they were so rude, customer service skills weren't obviously a priority. When I moved to Medfield I almost expected the same thing and was more than happy to find that I'm treated as someone that came into a corner drugstore. It seems that the people that work there, whether they know you or not, take time to help you. They have a lovely woman in the beauty aisle giving out samples and tips and I recommend just taking time to talk to her-she's a sweetie. If anyone that works there reads this-good job guys! This is the worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with. I have even had practitioners suggest avoiding it, and now I completely agree. They are also consistently more expensive than other area pharmacies. This is CVS corp's Issue not the location, but another reason to avoid. Not to mention the dozens of robocalls you will get at all hours from CVS using the local store # prompting you to fill prescriptions you don't need. Pure aggravation. read more

I will never return to this CVS pharmacy. The pharmacy window was shut at 7:59pm (closes at 8pm - I had an alarm set on my phone for 8pm which went off as I was walking up to the window). I asked if it was possible to pick up the antibiotic for my 6 month old and the pharmacist (who was right there working at the computer) said no, they were closed but I could come back 14 hours later when they reopened. As a physician, I am horrified by this type of customer service in healthcare. I cannot even imagine refusing to care for a patient who is right in front of me just because it happened to be at the minute I expected to leave. The patient comes first, even if it means I stay late. But not at this CVS pharmacy. read more
