One employee stepped in to help and genuinely tried, even calling someone to walk her through the process since it was her first time handling these orders. I appreciate her effort, especially when another worker seemed ready to send me home. That said, same-day printing shouldn't be offered if there isn't properly trained staff available. This ended up being a frustrating and unnecessary waste of time.

A couple of years ago I started shopping for my favorite liquid lipstick at Walgreens, which was the only place you could find it other than K-Mart (I know, random) and Navarro. On a whim I signed up for the Beauty Insider at Walgreens because why not get rewards for the shopping you are going to do anyway. If you download the app you can also clip coupons to your account and the savings really do add up, if you combine the $5 reward you get when you reach a certain number of points, with the in-store promotions like "Buy 2 get 1 free". I am writing this review for the employee who works in this store, in the cosmetics section, every day except for Sunday and Monday. Her name is Daibelys. First of all I've never noticed any other Walgreens having an employee dedicated just to this section, let alone one who is super knowledgeable and helpful. I'd run out of foundation and had also been watching a bunch of You Tube videos and wanted to try a bunch of new products. She was so patient with me and helped me color match foundations, even when I insisted that I needed to go look at it in the sun AKA the "lighting of truth" and she made great recommendations for blushes and other products. Somehow, between all of the promotions, coupons, and rewards, I was able to purchase 8 products for $50. She helped me to maximize all of the sales and had secret coupons for things that were not on sale. I am totally going to shop here now all of the time for cosmetics. I also really liked that many (not all) of the products have testers in the display so you're not left guessing. The friendly employee offered me sponges, spoolies, and other sampling materials and then a nice micellar water to remove everything. I was also impressed that most of the displays were fully stocked and not picked over like you normally find at Target or Walmart. I didn't find the setting spray I was looking for in the Milani section but when I told the employee, she remembered that there was a special promotional area for Milani towards the front and found it there. Come on, in Miami and in this day and age, who cares this much about their job?! The only other service I have used at this store is the photo, and I didn't have any issues uploading the file through the app, and it was ready so quickly for pickup. Thank you Walgreens! You've restored my faith in humanity.

I was told I needed to pay for tape to attach my label to the box. I asked for scissors--was told no. I asked for tape--was told no again. The employee bluntly said, "we aren't authorized to do so," and made no effort to help. I've shipped packages at many FedEx ship centers, and there has always been tape and scissors available as part of the service. Not here. The attitude was dismissive, unprofessional, and downright rude. This is not the first time I've had a bad encounter with staff at this location, but it will definitely be the last. I will never come back to this Walgreens.
