I came here for one thing only - to fix a mistake made by another pharmacy at a different CVS. They did not mix the amoxicillin for my toddler. It was powder in a bottle. WTF. I called this location and the pharmacist calmly explained that it should never happen and that we can come to his location and they will mix it properly for us. I went in and they took care of it in a matter of minutes, the pharmacist answered a couple of questions I had, and I was on my way. This is my go-to CVS, this is a pretty new CVS and I love how spacious it is. The staff at this location is extremely friendly and helpful. Some of the ladies have been working here for as long as I can remember. The store is always kept well stocked. I wish they would have a larger selection of cold drinks, Kombucha to be exact, but other than that, they always meet my on-the-go last minute needs. I love their coupons, and their cash back rewards, I try to use them before the expiration date although sometimes I forget that I have them. Today was second time I go to pick up a RX only to find out at the pharmacy that systems were down. Person working at pharmacy (female with glasses and dark hair) was visibly frustrated and not too nice. Store had a good amount of consumers including an elderly couple getting over the counter meds. As I walked closer to entrance/cashier I asked if I'd be able to purchase something or if they are also impacted. They were impacted and I was told systems would be down at least another hour. I said they should not have doors open letting people come in who can't purchase - it's deceitful. Another female employee, shorter with dark hair and glasses answered "have a nice day" sarcastically. I proceeded to tell some folks on way out. Do better CVS! It's OK to have a power outage, it happens. But why let people who need to buy something come in if you can't charge them? Why not have better customer service etiquette? Some of us need our meds and we can make alternate arrangements with better customer experience from this store. This store has lost me as a customer - a tiny drop in the bucket, I know. This CVS is very conveniently located in the heart of Kendall, close to the Turnpike and inside a decent sized shoppin plaza. They have a large inventory of products and also include the usual pharmacy and photo. Staff is always very friendly at this location and helpful. There's usually a pretty good crowd but the lines move fast and never take too long. Ample parking and also within walking distance to a couple of restaurants nearby. read more

Horrific waits to pickup a prescription over an hour in the drive through, inside store was another hour, pathetic!

This is actually the worst CVS I have ever been to the people that work in the pharmacy apparently do not care about anybody's health or well-being. My doctor called to leave a prescription. They answered and hung up the phone he called again, and instead of answering him they told him they were too busy to take his call and to leave a voicemail, I then came to pick up my prescription and they said they had absolutely no prescription for me. I told them to check their voicemails and all the girl did was give me attitude and waste my time and tell me they don't have any proof of anything. it's really upsetting to see how little people in the healthcare world care About patients when certain medicines could affect whether someone lives or dies Unbelievable. Very disappointed. Went on a Sunday around 2pm on 08/28/2022, after my husband got out of the hospital with a kidney stone and needed an Rx for perkuset for pain. The person at the drive thru said they were "out until Tuesday." My husband ended up having to go back into the hospital on Monday at 1:30 am for severe pain after no home remedy would work. Emergency doctor thought it was strange that they would not have had perkuset on hand. We spent the entire night in the hospital to control the pain and were sent home in hopes that Rx could be filled as early as possible Tuesday morning. When I arrived at the cvs window this time they told me the Rx was put on hold because his insurance refused to cover it. So now the story had changed. I told them that my husband had to return to the hospital for another visit because he did not have the prescribed pain medication and that we were never informed that we had the option to pay out-of-pocket because we were plainly told they were "out of the medication until Tuesday." They just apologized and sent a pharmacy person who did some customer service script with us at the window. Just thought wow how irresponsible and at our expense--both medically and monetarily. Anyway, meant to write this sooner, but was caring for my husband. Waiting on medical bill now to file claim with CVS if it's a significant amount. As it is, we each lost a sick day from work, and you know how precious those are, especially when you run out and start getting pay docked . This CVS is open 24 hours, including the pharmacy. This is the sole reason for the 3 stars instead of 1. The young cashiers are always nice to me but the older women are usually grouchy. I absolutely hate going through the drive-thru pharmacy because I'll have to wait 3-5 minutes to even be acknowledged and then only God knows how long after that. It has ranged from 10-25 minutes. And I can't tell you how many times my prescription hasn't been ready for pick up even after I've received the call informing me that it is. I suggest calling to order your Rx instead of using the app. They don't always receive the order at the pharmacy. And if they did receive it, and there is an issue with it, you won't find out until after you've waited in line to pick it up and they non chalantly tell you it'll be another 30 minutes to an hour "Just come back in an hour". read more

After years of being a customer here, I'm changing pharmacies. The last few times I've had a prescription filled there it's taken days to get it filled. And only after going in person to pick it up and finding out they did not have the medication and had to order. Resulting in another visit and more delays. I found out that unless I went in person they would not even order it. They didn't order it when they received the prescription. This last time was the last straw. I went to urgent care. They called in a prescription on a Wednesday morning. I went to pick it up on Friday because I had not heard from them. I was told they didn't have it and were ordering it. It wouldn't be ready until Monday. That's 6 days to get a medication I should have had on Wednesday after the urgent care visit. That's how they operate. I needed some OTC meds and the staff was helpful to direct me to the aisle and I ended up saving with my rewards card. Every time I go to this CVS pharmacy, the line is over 45 mins wait. Never enough people working. I'm 5 months pregnant and standing in that line for 46 minutes was not pleasant, and to make matters worst, when I was finally helped, the lady Sonia, (manager) told me with an unpleasant attitude my medicine is not ready and to step aside to wait again. Hard sigh. Fml. The first thing I do when I get to the window in the drive-through is tell the man I'm picking up for two different people and I'm going to pay for them separately. The mans name is Meile. I give him all the information and the guy gives me a paper to sign. I see there are three items. I asked the man, am I just signing for everything all at once, because I told you I need to pay for this transaction separately for each person. The man knods in agreement. I gave him the card I look at him and say it's supposed to be two different items. Am I signing for everything all at once and then I'm gonna pay for everything separately, the guy said yes I'm like OK. So I signed and I'm waiting for him to give me the other paper so I could sign for the other purchase with the other card and the guy leaves. I push the button and I'm like excuse me sir, you charge me for everything under one card. I told you three times that I'm buying for two different people and I need to pay for this separately. The guy started telling me I didn't. He had a shitty attitude. Not only did i tell him once, twice..,it was three times. He told me that I needed a refund and I had to come inside. I'm like why do I have to come inside for a refund, when this is your fault and I'm right here. You're talking to me right here. why can't you give me a refund right here? So Meile made me come inside and return everything, then buy everything separately. What an inconvenience and a horrible experience. Meile, NEEDS to take a customers service course. He is certainly lacking in customer service skills. Nobody should be treated or spoken to that way. Unacceptable. Why does Meile get defensive so quickly?? This pharmacy is understaffed every time I've been here in the past two months. I'm standing in line at with 18 people in front of me and only two people behind the counter. People are complaining and they are. It calling for any kind of backup or assistance. Last time I was here I could not understand the pharmacist through her broken English. I have been forcced to use cvs as the chosen pharmacy by my insurance. This is by far tHe WORST customer service and pharmacy I have ever been to. The pharmacists are rude, the wait times is horrible and they don't answer the phone when you call. They make doctors calling in prescriptions wait on the phone without taKing into consideration their time. The usual excise is that they are short staffed and doing the best they can. This pharmacy is awful. Prescriptions do not get filled until you wait in line to pick up only to be told it will be ready in 15 minutes. That's after waiting 4-5 days to fill the meds. This week they lost the prescription, it was being filled then they didn't have the script.
