This is not my first time coming here to pick up prescriptions, and unfortunately the experience has been consistently unacceptable. The staff, especially at the consultation window, are extremely rude, dismissive, and lack even the most basic level of professionalism. Patients come here for care and support, often during vulnerable moments, and being treated with attitude and disrespect is completely unacceptable. It feels like patients are an inconvenience rather than people who deserve proper service and dignity. If you cannot treat patients with basic courtesy, you should not be working in a healthcare setting. This place seriously needs to address its staff behavior and overall approach to patient care. read more

Worst pharmacy ever. You're forced to leave a voicemail if you want to speak to the pharmacy. And most of the time, they don't call you back. If you pick up a prescription, be sure to verify at the counter that it's correct. They never fill 90 day supply prescriptions for me, but fill 30 day supplies. And when I call and request it, there's no call back. I'm only go here because the location is convenient. But it's always a hassle with every RX. read more

Do NOT come here at night. I had to take my 1 year old son to the ER for an infection and they gave me medicine I needed to get right away. I was sent to this pharmacy because it was 11 pm and they were open 24 hours. Well, I called a few minutes prior to arriving to make sure the prescription was ready. It took awhile to get ahold of the pharmacist because it is automated. He then told me the doors will be locked and to just call him when I was outside. I said well I'm just 4 minutes away and is it easy to get ahold of you because this call took awhile. And he said yes just ask for the pharmacy tech. Absolutely not true!!! There were people hanging out at the cars and homeless people setting up for the night: so I immediately felt uneasy. I called as I walked up to the doors thinking I could get ahold of the tech easily- it led me through all the automations and I couldn't bypass them. Two homeless ladies were sitting on the walking up to me taking about their diarrhea but also asking if I can give them a ride. So the automation kept picking up their voices and saying it did not understand me. I told them to leave me along but they're crazy so they wouldn't. I don't know how but after 23 min I somehow got through the automation and got ahold of the pharmacy tech. They took about 4 min to actually come unlock tbe door. I went to the pharmacist and told them how frustrated my experience was and what I had gone through. And his response was "oh yah we hear that all the time". Well then why did he tell me to just call making it sound so easy?? I saw that The homeless people had entered the store and I asked the pharmacist if someone could walk me out, and funny enough the men didn't the woman did! She was very friendly and I was grateful for her help, but it's really disappointing the little boys working at the pharmacy don't step up This place will have blood on their hands. The pharmacy IS OPEN 24 hours as long as you have a prescription. Over the last month I've had to pick up two prescriptions; one for the pooch and one for myself. While the storefront/retail area is closed to business (sadly too many smash-and-grabs at 24 hour stores, methinks), as long as you have a prescription that's been verified over the phone, you're good as gold. Mind you, I've picked up my stuff at 2am before. To note: retail pharmacy workers work hard. CVS corporation also doesn't treat their employees well; sadly they put their employees last. I was browsing today at this CVS, just killing time. Looked at what makeup, candy and toothbrushes they had. I was then harassed by workers and then confronted at the door where one of the workers asked me again "if I needed help". Then a man who worked there walked up to me and asked me "what was in the bag?". I said "just my stuff". Which I had purchased earlier with receipts which were in the bag. More often than not, the check-out line here is a disaster. There's rarely more than one clerk working, and she's all-to-often tied up assisting the people struggling with the self-checkout. And there are only two self-checkouts. So, naturally, the line is often ten people deep. There are other nearby CVS stores that do a lot better. read more

This is form the minute clinic inside the CVS. I made a same day appointment online. It was very easy to navigate and the times were reasonable. The check in was on a kiosk inside. My practitioner was quick, professional and cared about why I was there. I told her I didn't think my insurance would cover the visit. She said we should try and see. I was so happy, it was covered by my insurance!! She gave me a print out of the visit, made sure I had the appropriate follow up. I would soooo recommend these services to a friend. This CVS is bussssssy, so remember to bring your patience for the parking lot and the bussssy store. read more

It's an older location but friendly staff. We stopped by after lunch at Little Sakana as I wanted to buy M&Ms for a friend. She has an obsession with them so I've been trying to find all flavors of M&Ms as a surprise. The candy aisles here aren't too bad. They seemed well stocked. The skin care aisles weren't as good but I found a blemish cream that I had been looking for. We ended up finding 7 (!!) different types of M&Ms. They were in different areas of the store but we eventually tracked them down. The larger bags were on sale too. Store/pharmacy hours on phone are incorrect. Not open 24 hours. My doctor accidentally sent my prescription to this location. I live 11 miles away, so I called beforehand to make sure they were open before I drive up in the middle of the night. I was grateful that I'd be able to pick up my prescription and hopefully get some sleep! I arrived at 12:45am, and found it closed up with a sign explaining that they close at 10:30 pm - 7 am due to staffing shortages. Had my prescription with this location, I tried calling multiple times, multiple days in a row with no answer from the pharmacy. The automated system told me my prescription was ready. Upon arrival, after waiting in line 15-20 mins, they said my prescription was on Hold and told me to go into another line which had 10 plus people in it. I finally got to the window to speak to the rudest and most incompetent Pharmacist I have ever encountered, she proceeded to tell me that they will no longer fill the prescription my doctor prescribed to me, which I have been taking for months. When I asked why, she told me that the Pharmacists at her location have decided to not allow the medication I was prescribed from my doctor to be dispensed at their pharmacy anymore. Wait???! What???? Who are these people who are just supposed to fill my prescription to tell me, that my doctor is wrong???? How is this allowed. Fortunately, I video taped the whole encounter and I will have an attorney review the illegal behaviors of the pharmacist at this location. She knew nothing of my diagnosis and I told her she was wrong and due to Hippa laws, I would not disclose. Nowhere on my prescription did it state my personal diagnosis. She proceeded to tell me that my prescription, that my doctor prescribed to me, due to my height and weight, was killing people and had very serious side effects. Keep in mind I have been taking this for months and she is telling me this without even knowing my diagnosis. Fortunately, I instantly transferred my prescription and had it filled immediately. Honestly customer service is the worst here. Wait time are always long and obtaining my prescription is always so hard. I would always have to pick up my prescription monthly and see my doctor before picking it up but every time I try to pick up my medicine, every pharmacist at this location would say that they don't see the prescription sent by my doctor and they would tell me to call my doctor to send it again. I would call my doctor and they would say that they already sent it. This always happens and it's always frustrating to get my medicine, which shouldn't be an issue. There is nothing I can do and I just need my medicine. The first time and second time they were able to get my medicine when they looked hard enough on the computer. Sometimes they don't even try to give you your medicine. There is this pharmacist that had blond hair who looked like the person who the staff would ask if they didn't know how to do something. She gave me attitude and while she was searching up my prescription on the computer, another customer needed help on the phone and she said "put her on hold, they can wait" with an annoyed face. Like it can be frustrating to work as a pharmacist but we customers are also people and we should be treated with respect no matter how your day is going. read more

Thrn another lady wehn to stand behind the lady being checked out, so now that is 2 people who hot helped before me. Of course the cashier yelled out who was next I spoke up, but she still helped the lady who just rolled up and placed her items on the counter. Heather showed up to check me out. I told her she needs to inform people.where the line starts because 2 people out of line were helped before me. I asked her she rung me up, i asked her if it registered my coupon, she said what coupon it's not showing. I informed her it was sent to my card. I pulled up the email. This CVS Pharmacy is open 24/7 (!!!) even on major holidays! Which makes it so convenient to pick up medication and anything else ranging from food to beauty to household items. There is also a minute clinic here where you can either make an appointment or drop by to see a health professional in essentially a minute. The pharmacy itself is all the way in the back of the store next to the minute clinic. If you have an extra care rewards card, you can sign up for pharmacy rewards where There is a parking lot outside that is shared with an urgent care next door and various food places at the Mira Mesa Mall. read more

I knew the reviews for this location were bad but it's the closest one to me during this vacation and I needed a refill as soon as possible. I called my doctor out of state to refill my meds here which was completed the following day. I received a CVS text that my Rx was ready for pick up. Exactly 34 minutes after the text, I finally decided to pick it up. After waiting in line for 5 mins I get to a window where a female asks for my basic info to look me up then tells me there's nothing available for me. I explain I got a text over half an hour at this point and she's gives me this canned explanation that it must have been shelfed already and to go to the drop off window. It's only been 30+/- minutes how can they shelf my rx already? Of course this isn't her problem so I wait at the drop off line where another female assists, asking for my basics to pull me up. However, it's now her lunch break so now this male tech comes to take her place. THIS was the point that got me to the point of writing a review for a CVS *insert eye-roll*. This male now asks for my basics and if I have insurance on file. I confirm. He then asks if I live at the same address and I confirm I do not and update my address with him. He then says he still needs my insurance card which I provide. He proceeds to explain that my insurance does not cover my Rx over a 30 day supply and I reply "Oh, my doctor did it for 90 days?" To which he confirms and say it will be $45. I then respond as clear as day "Oh that's fine. I'll pay the $45 for 90 days" because I'd rather have enough during my vacation. He then tells me that they now have to recount my refill, it will take about 20 minutes and that I can go ahead and pay for my other items at the front of the store, take a seat and they'll call my name when. It's ready. I go to the front and wait in line to use the self checkout which also doesn't register my purchase because the weight didn't clock on the bagging station so I even waited for a clerk to assist. I finally completed my purchase and proceeded to kill time walking around the store. After a few minutes I took a seat and it's been 30 minutes now. I always try to give the benefit of the doubt and do see how busy they are so I bide my time and wait. Another 30 minutes has passed, I know based on the time stamps of texts convos I've been having as I waited and still no one calls my name. So I stand in the pick up line again for 5 minutes and am assisted by another female who's asks for my basic info to pull me up again. She gives me my rx which is about $3 which I pay thinking my insurance did cover it. And as I walk away I read my rx is for 90 days but the bottle feels light. I rip open my bag and count 30 pills. I read the receipt and they only charged me the 30 days and the filled time was at 4pm, an hour EARLIER! At this point I'm heated and try to keep my composure. I wait in line AGAIN and when it's finally my turn I explain I was only charged for 30 days but I waited over an hour at this point for a 90 day Rx. She looks at the receipt and literally repeats I only paid for 30 days. I say "yes, that's what I said. "Hate" to bring the rating lower, but... This CVS truly stinks-- and this is coming from a doctor. The main pharmacist (long blond hair), doesn't have a caring bone in her body as is rude af. The CVS made a mistake on my child's prescription, so I called and they said just come up front and we'll correct it. I did as instructed and that pharmacist said sure we have it, just get in the pickup line and get it-- a line which was 10 deep, and me w/ 3 kids (3,6,9). Long and short of it, it took around an hour to stand in line, during which time my potty training 3 year old pooped his pants. I am an MD that works in the area and have to prescribe to lots of pharmacies in the Mira Mesa/ SD area. So I know which pharmacies are good and which are not. Had a prescription sent here and picked it up mid-day Friday. Only two people at the counter with a line of 10+. Waited 15 minutes for my turn only to walk up to the counter and not be greeted, have to scream my last name and birthday to someone whose nearly deaf, have her ttype it in wrong, and then huff and puff when she has to retype it several times. And when the transaction was over, there was no signaling of it ending. Didn't even reply when I said thank you. As a manager of an establishment nearby, I would be horrified if an employee of mine treated a guest like this. So I went in for my booster shot an hour ago... There was a guy in front of me to get the booster. He walks out of the room and I get called in by the pharmacist. The pharmacist doesn't say anything, and I'm like OK, maybe he's having a bad day. I give him my card and sit down... He starts to fill out my card. I look at his workstation and its a mess.. The desk had what I guessed was the trash from the previous patient who just received a shot in front of me. The pharmacist does NOT have gloves on and filled the syringe bare handed. I saw his finger actually touch the needle. The pharmacist then starts to fish around his desk for gloves. He pulls a new one out from the box and grabs another off the debris from his desk... The pharmacist tried to reuse a used glove off his desk! I'm said "NOPE. I'm not getting a shot from you." I grab my card and walked out. There have been multiple times I've tried to pick up prescriptions here and they're out of stock but with no communication. I get texts saying a prescription is ready and I make it out there just for them to say it's out of stock with no apology. Customer service here used to be great but you're better off sending your prescriptions to the Westview Parkway one. read more

This pharmacy is NOT open 24 hour. They are lying on the website. I went here at 1 AM desperate for UTI medication, after visiting another 24 hour CVS which was also closed. This one said on the door they were closed due to "staffing issues." They had a number to call for prescription pickup. I called the number, crying and begging her to let me buy UTI pain relief medication. She said she would not open the door for over the counter medication and the store was closed because they had "too many issues." CVS should be absolutely ashamed and should take info off their website claiming to be open 24 hours. read more
