The workers are nice here and helpful. I came to buy some cheap make-up. Since I don't want to keep bringing my make-up bag from house to house, I just decided to buy a whole new set thats cheaper. It is NOT cheap! Make-up and the brushes are expensive! Maybe its expensive at CVS but im sure it's the same everywhere else. However it is still cheaper than if i were to buy my usual make-up at estee lauder and Mac. I bought 3 brushes, concealer, eye shadow, and eye liner all for 45$. Whereas one foundation at estee lauder is already 45$. The sad thing is in this CVS, the make-up is all locked up. I had to ask someone working in the aisle to stay there for me while I look for what I need. He has the key and needs to open the glass doors for me. This CVS isn't too busy. I feel they can be a bit cleaner, but I've noticed this in the other CVS I go to in temecula. I did like this CVS though, just bc its easy, fast, and the workers are so pleasant. read more

The younger generation of pharmacists here at this location have no respect for people's time. I made an appointment for the latest Covid vaccination on September 15 at 3m. I was there exactly 5 minutes before 3pm. I checked in online, the app informed me to wait around the pharmacy area, & a clerk informs me that the pharmacist just took a 30-minute break. No apologies.. the counter-lady said to come back at 3:30!? Unfortunately, these Gen-z youth have not been taught to respect people's time. If you are looking for courteous employees working for CVS, do not come here. Their level of customer service is the lowest. read more

Photo Service Review: I ordered a large print via the CVS app for one hour printing. The print was not ready in one hour, nor was it ready the next day. I was told by numerous people that, despite the store having the service listed in the app, its photo printer was only in operation three or four days a week . I was told multiple times to call the next day and talk to a manager. In the end, they told me that the order was canceled, but at no time was I informed that the order would be late, or that it would not be printable, or that it was canceled, despite, in the past, receiving emails and texts and phone calls from various CVS locations for multiple reasons. I had to call this location and ask each time. After it was canceled, I saw no refund of my $18 order price. I had to call CVS corporate to have it refunded. IT WAS HORRIBLE. Terrible experience. This girl named kaytleen, a young asian girl, short, with braids, was very disrespectful. She yelled at me and started cursing at me when I constantly told her I was not able to hear from my right ear. It was to the point where it made me cry. I have never been disrespected in my life until now. She then continues to say, and I quote," WHY DON'T YOU GET YOUR FUCKING EAR FIXED!" She gave me a bad attitude. She then threw my prescription in my face forcefully. I asked her what her deal was, and she mocked me without hesitation. I never want to see her again. If so, I will report to HR. This CVS is a hidden gem and I absolutely love it! It is rarely busy which allows me a peaceful and lengthy shopping experience. The employees are very sweet and helpful. I get to retrieve my coupons first before shipping just to see what deals are going around. They always have amazing deals which have saved me a ton of money! It is amazing that they have groceries because that eliminates additional trips sometimes. Overall 10/10! read more

I visited Westview Parkway CVS Store #3068 today 2/2/24. the I needed some assistance in pricing on a few products and Laurence happily helped me. He also helped me at the register and there were some pricing issues with the products and he quickly resolved that. I found him so easy to work with, he is a great representative for CVS, he is very friendly, helps customers with questions and treats each customer with respect and with a smile. I also worked with several people in the pharmacy department and there was an issue with my husbands RX, they explained what I needed to get from the doctor and explained that the initial process can be timely and made me feel assured that I was on the right track in the process. One other RX was at a different CVS and they got that back and filled it there which saved me a lot of time. This has always been my favorite CVS location. The product selection and the team that works there is always kind, helpful and always willing to help. I am so grateful for the help and care that I get at this location. It's further for me to drive but it's well worth it. Always great service. I should have gone with my gut and applied a cold pack right away. After the cvs rep had given me my shingrix shot and it was more painful than my first one, i asked about followup..."Apply cold right?" She replied "No... just don't avoid using that arm." I truly think she was ticked at me for having commented that her mask had slipped down. She replied "We don't even have to wear masks now... it's safe," to which i had replied "less risk." That's when she gave me the shot. From how it felt while she was giving it, I wasn't surprised it looked like this this morning. Now I understand why this place has 2.5 stars review. Absolutely the worst service from Monique in Pharmacy I am the first to arrive, yet she helps another couple. Okay no big deal. Another gentleman helps me, but I'm missing my last cough medicine. Monique overhearing then tells me I need to contact my doctor. I proceed to tell her that all the orders were put in at the same time, and all I'm asking for is an ETA. She claims there is a long line and I will have to wait. Why do I have to wait, I was the first to arrive! She already helped out another couple before me. She then ignores me and proceed to help next customer I don't understand how rude people can be. I always wondered about the low reviews on pharmacy places, but this one doesn't deserve all the hate, especially on the pharmacy side. These people are overworked (looking at your corporate) and may not have time to walk around the aisles with you pointing out their favorite meds. I've gotten all my prescriptions here for years now and everyone behind the counter has been helpful even you can tell it's mayhem back there with all the calls and prescriptions they have to fill. read more

Photo service is very inefficient and not reliable. The machine was broken, it wont print out. They didn't have a sign to tell you its broken so you don't waste your time placing the order. I come to this location for the convenience of the location. It is not a 24 hour store this one closes at 10pm. Honestly unless you need a particular medication or item that can only be found here I would go to Target. The prices here are way much higher for general items like face wash and sunscreen. They have 2 self Check out stands now which is so helpful. They have cut down on staff and there is usually a line since there is one cashier. They have a card scanner if you want to check your CVS coupons and yes their receipts are the longest I've ever seen. Convenient location, has the healthcare items you'll need. read more

The pharmacy in this location (Westview Parkway, San Diego) has terrible customer service. The pharmacists don't care really what you need and they try to send you away. I've been there several times for refill the same prescription. I call one week ahead and my order is never ready. They charge me without insurance! and when I ask the reason, their answer goes back to the Dr. who prescribed the medication. Every time, I call Dr.' office and my insurance and find nothing wrong. It looks like they don't care and they don't want spend time to do any thing for patients. They just want temporary send you away. May be you'll tired and will not come back to this location, again! For reference the average rent for a 1 bedroom apartment in the US was about $1100z The good news is I found a cheaper price. The bad news is if I had lost access to the medication I could have died. Terrible! We arrived at 10:45PM (they close at 11), and the doors were locked. There were still people inside, and they had to force the automatic doors open because they were locked in. I understand that they were closing soon, but I would've been in and out in a few mins because I only had to get a few things for my sick girlfriend. The worst part is that the last working there lied to me. I held open the door while one customer was leaving so I could ask her if they were still open, and she said they weren't because the systems were down. The pharmacist gave me a dose 10 times higher than the prescribed dose and I ended up vomiting all night and I ended up in ER to do something about it. What a great way to spend my Christmas Eve! I will probably see an attorney to sue them once I recover from my symptoms because giving a wrong dose is not a joke or simple mistake and it can end someone's life if they get worse complications. read more

This is by far the worst pharmacy! The employees are incredibly rude. They have absolutely zero communication skills. They also have no care to help a customer. In fact, they are antagonistic towards customers. This has been my experience 3 times now. My husband had the same experience as well as a friend of mine. I will no longer use this pharmacy. They have some sort off chip on their shoulder. I don't know, maybe they are overworked? Last minute go to spot, for just about anything. This pharmacy/convenience store is a great place to get some of those last minute items you may be missing, for example; going to the the beach(sunscreen,Sunglasses, etc.), bachelors party(booze, snacks, novelty gifts, etc.), and trips to just about anywhere(tiny travel size items). They have a bunch of these awesome little travel size items that are very convenient, to include a bunch of little electronics to make your trip way more enjoyable. Sometimes there is an extremely long wait at the check out... probably because more often than not they only have one checker open, but if you time it just right, you can be in and out of there in no time at all... maybe. Oh I almost forgot the best part, they have a Lotto machine that is EXTREMELY user friendly and it almost never has people waiting... behind you, sighing loudly, over how long you are taking to make a selection. read more

There's three differences between this CVS location (which used to be a Long's Drugs) and the one in the Mira Mesa Mall: - The place may be a bit larger than the other location... but things don't seem to be as neat here. Half the time on my visits, stuff's on the floor or misplaced on the shelves. - There is a very small "international" market here with items that can be found at Big Lots or Marshalls... to be honest, I wished the CVS near my place had this portion. - The biggest difference? This CVS isn't open 24 hours. So, if you're in the area of Mira Mesa near the 15 and you need to pick up your meds at a late hour, guess what? You're going to Walgreens or the other CVS anyway.
