After going thru HELL with Walgreens pharmacy (the worst pharmacy on the planet), who lies, makes…read moreup their own unlawful rules, and is the slowest pharmacy in existence, a friend told me to try Lexington Pharmacy. I was a customer of Edison Pharmcacy for YEARS, without problems, but then they closed down. Walgreens was near my house, so i gave them a try..BIG PROBLEMS. Anyhow, Lexington Pharmacy has been a blessing, always has my meds ready, and dispenses your meds lawfully, every 28 days (a 2 day grace period is allowed when picking up your scheduled meds). Wlgreens told me the D.E.A. contacted them "specifically about administering my meds every 30/31 days after picking them up on day 28/29 for the last 20 years. This is a warning to whoever goes to Walgreens as much it is a great review for Lexington Pharmacy, as they have been nothing short of professional and perfect. They also do compounding although I haven't used them for this and the compounding might be a bit more expensive. I have used them to fill prescriptions when other places wouldn't fill them. They are able to fill the prescriptions reasonably quickly and I think if you are in the local area then the may deliver although I haven't used them for this. If you want a friendly local pharmacy that doesn't reject prescriptions and also does compounding then this is a good place to go. The prices are also reasonable.

They knew everyone by name and they really cared about everyone's service right down to their medication therapy & patient's cost of treatments such as copays and insurance coverages especially when it came to their custom compounding services. I've never been to any business where the employees are worried about how much their customer's shopping will cost them. It's like driving into Exxon Gas Station and the attendant is like "Sorry, but the fuel prices are exorbitant! is $5.39 per gallon for regular gas okay with you? How can we help you afford your gas for your car?" But Loving Care Pharmacy does it.

Someone goes to Walmart every other week to pick up…read moretheir parents meds and is always so impressed by their pharmacist (Robert) and pharmacy staff (Maria and another guy with glasses who I can't remember their name ...) Their pharmacist genuinely cares. If you have any questions, dont hesitate to ask. He explains things in an easily understandable manner. My mom's a complicated lady in terms of health and he's given advice around medicine interactions as well as best times to take them to minimize them. He's questioned and given second opinions (all within bounds from a pharmacist perspective!). They have most meds on hand and usually a pretty good stock. Prices are reasonable and work with you on discount cards when insurance doesn't cover. All in all, I would've never thought I'd recommend a Walmart Pharmacy, but I really do!

I called to confirm that my script was in and had a very informative and caring conversation with Robert, pharmacist. He went above and beyond with the information and direction needed. I felt like I was in an old school mom and pop pharmacy. When I visited the location for pickup... the line wasn't long and went really fast. Service was friendly. Yeah, there is no convenient drive thru and you have to find parking and make your way through Walmart to get to it, but for that kind of service, I'll deal with it.
