Let's start with the PHARMACIST FAITH. Overall, I have NEVER walked in to pick up medication and had ANYONE greet me with a smile. I am the nicest person you will ever meet but when I deal with a person who is combative and condescending I see red rats. Here is the bottom line. I've used CVS when my Mom And pop pharmacy closed around 3 years ago. I started to use CVS because they were across the street when I lived in NYC. I stayed with CVS out of convenience. I've NEVER HAD A PLEASANT EXPERIENCE at the one on 17 and 41 in Mt P Faith (pharmacist demonstrated very inept people skills and said she won't fill my prescriptions any more . When the sign says walk ins welcome for Flu AND Covid shots , they should probably check with each individual pharmacy !!! I went in to get both , but only flu walk ins are available!!! If I'm getting one, why can't I just get both? The person said to keep it more organized. Really? What about customer service and support? So I asked him if there were Covid shot appointments available within the next few minutes, he just said probably not and didn't even check!! Terrible. Took over an hour to acknowledge they got an rx from an urgent care right across the street. My son had to sit and wait for 80+ minutes while others came in and had to wait 30+ minutes. There was five staff members at a time, so no reasonable explanation. Drive through was closed during open hours. I did not want to spend my evening around contagious people, but we had no choice. Rude staff, no apologies. Just incompetence. Save your sanity and go to Walgreens across the street. read more

The employee really great. I just hate two things that seem to.happen too often. 1) The wait for pickup at the pharmacy. Why can't they just tell the customer with whatever issue to come in or come back around? Instead they let the line get ridiculously long and you can't abandon ship even if you want to. 2) The coupons they send to my phone never ring up correctly. I mean every time the price an item is marked for rings up at regular price or the customer appreciation coupons always require the cashiers ring me up three times to get it to take the dollar amount off. This really needs to be addressed!! I have been told it's because prices change in the store before the computer/register system. What??? Get it together people please. Out of the box CVS at the corner of US 17 and SC 41. It's just like every other. There's even a Redbox in front. Nice greeting when I walked in, shelves were stocked okay and the checkout service was prompt. Because of the traffic layout, it's not easy to get here going north on US 17. You have to make a U-turn and then another U-turn. Whack. read more

Customer service is HORRIBLE ..went in to pick up a prescription we waited in line for like 30 mins which we understood it was busy. Once we got to the counter one of the techs was so rude we got in a screaming match! Not was it just one tech but also the other with her was chimingin ! One of the cashiers at the pharmacy literally Left a line of people to go run over to the techs and talk to them about what just happened. soooo unprofessional! I could not believe someone would think it's ok to speak or look at the customers the way this girl did! I would have lost my job if I treated someone the way she was treating us. I feel so bad for the actual pharmacist she seemed like the only one who had any clue what she was doing and apologized to us for their behavior. Used CVS to do my covid test on Monday, The 11th. Website says 2 3 days for results. Well this is day SIX and still no results. This is a joke. I really hope the General Manager or the Pharmacist in charge reads this. I went through the drive-thru at 7 p.m. tonight to pick up a prescription. I waited some time in line behind a lady who appeared to be arguing with whomever was inside about not being able to get her prescription, and finally that lady moved on. I gave my information to Deyonna, and she began to fill my prescription, then said she needed to print a new label so asked me to "take a lap through the drive-thru". I thought that was weird, but I decided to go with the flow. Of course, now I am behind other cars again. Once I was able to get back up to the window to get my very simple prescription filled (it had already been called in and we confirmed it was ready), I pulled forward, and I see this finger sticking out of the window as if to tell me "wait a minute". So now, having waited behind an argumentative customer, taken a lap around the pharmacy drive-thru, and waited behind even more cars, I sit waiting while this lady parks her minivan slightly to the side, GETS OUT, and starts searching through the trunk to find her money! Apparently everyone else in line is supposed to just...sit there...in the drive-thru... while this lady searches for her money? So I pull forward . Deyonna says "I was telling you to hold on". I said "I'd like to get my prescription now please". She filled my prescription in the span of about 20 seconds (we were told it was ready an hour ago now), but I guess I (and the now 5 cars behind me) were supposed to just sit there? Here's a thought...maybe have the prescriptions ready when you SAY they are ready and, if someone isn't ready to transact her business, maybe ask her to FIND HER MONEY AND WALK INSIDE WHEN SHE HAS rather than ask 5 other customers who ARE ready to wait in their cars. I was asked to "take a lap" because CVS wasn't ready, but we all get to wait for this lady when she went through the drive-thru not knowing where her purse is? Why wasn't SHE asked to take a lap? Shaking my head. There is NOTHING convenient about CVS, least of all the pharmacy drive-thru. read more

This CVS store is one that I usually forget is so near me. I love the fact that they have great parking in the same lot as Tidal Grounds & Pier 41. It's the usual CVS store, although I have to say the staff here are very helpful & cheery. It's usually not that busy either. CVS is a great spot for prescriptions passport photos & occasion cards. They have a huge selection of the latter. read more

I have noticed a trend at the Pharmacy that there is a real "screw you" attitude among the employees which I observed when they are interacting with other customers (with me standing in line). Now it has happened to me. I had an issue with a prescription pick up and called in to try and get it fixed. I was hung up on mid sentence. Rebecca was who helped me both times in the store and on the phone. She wasn't friendly in person and definitely not professional on the phone. read more

I've gone to this CVS for the last 5 or so years I've lived here and had nothing but decent things to say about the service. This past week, however, I have just received the worst service at their pharmacy. I called to have a prescription refilled and the automated call came through and it was mostly cut off by the time it got to my VM so I just assumed they had filled it. So I go to pick it up. Young lady at the register informs me that they are out and will be "for a few days." I kind of just stared at her that this was an OK response for someone needing a refill and was out of a medication. Isn't CVS a chain? Couldn't they have referred me to another store? Could they have maybe just gone the extra step? Nah, can't be bothered...not so much as a "sorry." Come a couple days later and they call to let me know it's filled. I show to pick up and the same young lady tells me that the same script that I picked up like 2 months ago for $10 is now $170...I ask her why and I just get a "you need to call your insurance." Again, not a "sorry" or "thank you" when I coughed up the money. She couldn't even crack a smile through either exchange we had. We just switched to CVS because our insurance changed and that's the only place we can use. We used to use the Teeter's pharmacy and they would at least call you (ya know a live person calling another) to give you a heads up if something changed that drastically or if a medication was pricey. Step up your customer service game. You should be able to afford that being a large chain...if a grocery store can get it right than a PHARMACY should be able to too. read more

My favorite local CVS and Pharmacy. The CVS store staff always greets you upon entering the store and they are very helpful in locating items for you and if they are out of stock of your favorite item they will look it up and tell you which other store in the area actually does have it in stock and on the shelf!! No rain checks here people!! The Pharmacy staff is top notch! They are always very friendly and go above and beyond when it comes to service. They have text-ready notifications so no waiting around. Call it in and you know when it is there for you to pick up. They have drive thru for drop off and pick up. They watch to make sure no medicine contradicts with any other medicine or allergies. I was taking two medicines for years and they were the first ones to ever alert me of a possible issue taking these together and I have seen them do this for other people also. Way to go Pharmacy peeps!! Looking out for their tribe. The crew is courteous and I have never heard any staff in the entire store ever be anything but professional. I love my CVS! I will not go to any other store. I moved here and I tried several others before discovering this CVS at the corner of HWY 17 & 41. I highly recommend this store. read more

Well I have to give credit for fast, friendly service today...at CVS. Thank you CVS! Harris Teeter could not fill my Rx script so I decided to try CVS, as it's been well over 8 years since I last went here. Upon entering the store today around 12:30, I was greeted by multiple staff up front. I then went to drop off the script, and was told they could fill it in a short time. Then I decided to buy a cool beverage, and was checked out by David, again friendly. Then less than 10 minutes from dropping off the script, to my surprise & satisfaction my script was ready. They had a full staff working hard and fast today, at least 5-6 in the Rx area. My good service experience was completed by Dana who also greeted me, and diligently looked for my just filled script. Then I was done! Upon my exit, I was thanked by David. Best and fastest Rx service I have ever received. Keep it up CVS! read more

Pharmacy is terrible. Get texts or calls that prescriptions are done, only to arrive and they aren't.

1.) i never knew a pharmacy could be run by, what look to be, teenagers. 2.) You should never let teenagers run a Pharmacy. 3.) The drop off personnel would rather rush off to their lunch with no one manning the desk before helping you. 4.) The pickup personnel must never have learned to say "Have a nice day". 5.) they take over an hour to fill any prescription, and that's if they didn't lose the prescription in the mean time. 6.) They do no follow ups with your doctor for renewing your prescriptions. I could go on and on about how horribly run this Pharmacy is. I thought Walgreens was bad, but this CVS Pharmacy raises the bar on how badly a Pharmacy can be run. read more

I used the restroom and after i left the restroom i got harassed by the worker. He said i wasn't allowed to use the restroom and was VERY rude about it. He even followed me out of the store and i was going to buy something but ended up not. Even during Covid-19 the restrooms should be open. I felt attacked and the worker was VERY rude to me. It was a dark haired male employee. I do not recommend doing here. Customer service sucks. Also when i was buying candy for my boyfriend they called security to my isle because i was taking too long. I was on the phone asking him what he wanted. And they called security on me. It was a white woman. I would NOT recommend shopping here. Employees are very rude. Go somewhere else. read more

1. Dr sent e script for 90 day supply of meds but cvs filled for 30 day supply. Had to go back to my dr to straighten out error. 2. Rude and incompetent pharmacy staff. 3. Sent text that meds were ready for pick up but got there and meds weren't ready. 4. Had a medication discontinued but cvs keeps sending text to pick it up. Tried to fix this for over a month- even went into store. 5. Told in Drive thru to 'go around' again and like a fool I did. Mad at myself. 6. Told by my dr that this particular cvs is terrible and always gets prescriptions wrong. 7. My dr sent in e scripts and I gave cvs 2 days to fill. Went in 2 days later and they hadn't even started filling the scripts. Said they accidentally didn't see the e script. 8. Worst part is that I loved Walgreens. Never had a problem. My insurance (BCBS) made me switch. This has all happened since January. With insurances requiring cvs, they don't have to be nice or efficient or better than Walgreens...we are forced to put up with it. I'll at least change cvs locations. read more

Worst pharmacy I have had to deal with. I have lived all over the country and have had to go to this pharmacy for the past 2 years (my company requires it to be a CVS and this location is closest to my house) and its always terrible. It doesn't matter what time you go there you are typically going to wait 20-30 minutes. They are slow and inefficient (example, I handed my DL to the person grabbing my prescriptions and she said Oh I don't need this and handed it back...then she proceeded to ask me all the information that was provided on my DL such as Name, Address, DOB). I have gone there where they claimed my prescription is ready and then when I got there stated we don't have a prescription for you only then to call me an hour later saying oh yeah we found it. There have been so many other ridiculous things I can't even list them all. The Walgreens across the street is much better, luckily my new company allows me to pick and I picked Walgreens. read more

This CVS kinda...well..sucks..when you call in your med 24 hours ahead of time they 90% of the time don't have it ready. I mean, come on, what if I needed some cool party meds and they ruined my party!:) really they are just super unreliable and, one night, I had to explain the titration schedule of a specific med to the PHARMACIST. WTF. He just couldn't get it for some reason. Also, the pharmacists there act very elitist towards the patrons. I'm like, "wait a minute..I have more education than you AND I have to explain the nuances of your job to you and you are elitist"! Really?! Use this pharmacy since moving here a few months ago. The staff is hard working to the point of never stopping. I don't know how they do it! The pharmacist, Ashley and Kyle are top in their fields. They give 100%; it shows how much they care about their patients. In fact, Ashley often goes out of her way to help those patients with little money for their medication offering options that no one has ever done before. I live on a fixed income. I would go anywhere else. I only wish the pharmacy had more staff. They are so over worked and unappreciated from what I have experienced. I am in there many times a month and one day I witnessed their boss being very negative to them and disrespectful. I was appalled and could clearly see that the boss needed some leadership training having worked in the corporate world for many years. I know what lifts people and what does not. These hard workers with an advanced education need to be appreciated. If it was not for them, there would be no boss! read more
