A supervisor was helping me, as I was explaining to her I had used two forms of payments and that I had already gotten rid of the CVS card I used, she impatiently asked " Do you want your refund or not!" After I said "You're rude." She responded with "Sorry, it's been a long day." That is not an excuse to be rude, especially for someone in a supervisory position. This is a fabulous stocked CVS, more like a grocery store! I was working at the clinic next door all week and it was so nice to be able to pop over for lunch and snacks, Diet Coke, mail postcards, and I even knocked out the chore of having to update my passport photos. Thank you to the really lovely staffer, perhaps named Ramona. Or Carmen. I forgot! But she was so nice and made time for my passport photos, printed them up, and had me back in my clinic in like 7-8 minutes! read more

Absolutely horrible. Been coming here for nearly 10 years. Over that time there have been some good techs and pharmacists. However the last few years it's utter crap. I recently went to pickup a drug that I have paid $5 for. They wanted $50 for it! When I expressed my astonishment the tech offered no explanation or make any attempt at investigating the extraordinary increase in price. In the past techs were helpful and emphatic. Nope. She could care less. I called my insurance and was informed that the state of California had changed its tier level for this drug and the price was now $30. Sooo, CVS not only was incapable of helping me figure it out, they overcharged me by $20. Prices change. The pharmacists knows this. If this pharmacy gave a damn about their customers they would have investigated. Also , they have locked up certain items, including the deodorant (!?). God forbid CVS hire security in order to keep that one penny from the CEOs, COOs and whatever unnecessary millionaires pockets. These places run on a skeleton crew. Need something from a locked case? No one is around and so you have to wait inline. Once it's your turn, the clerk needs get the keys and leaves the counter to get the item. This holds everyone else up. They have a very large selection of vitamins and supplements. I often come here just to find new things. I also like their snack/grocery section has some keto (low carb) options. The Pharmacy is also pretty quick. They say "about an hour" but its really half that time. I visit this business because it is a part of my weekly routine and so when I do come, it is generally a good experience. It's nice that they play Spanish music in the store overhead system. read more

This review is for Ezequiel. I had been running all over to find rubbing alcohol and had been told By one CVS that this store had them in stock. Drove here to be told by two employees they don't have it. Ezequiel took the time to go into the back of the store and find me a bottle. I've been coming to this cvs for years but I will never return to this one again due e to rude supervisor and very rude manager named sherry..ive seen this manager yell at a staff member a few months back right infront of all the customers belittling her..although you have some of sweetest cashiers at this location you have a very unprofessional manager and a very rude supervisor (who was a woman) I forgot her name because I was beyond upset...wont be returning here...then when I called to speak to someone to file a complaint sherry(the manager) hung up in my face. read more

This place is severely understaffed everytime I come here. The only exception would be the pharmacy and tthat's probably because they make most of their money there. they're listed as a UPS drop off location but they never accept your packages they just have a bunch of stack packages there. I even walked around looking for somebody to help me with shipping and finding something and couldn't find anybody except for the cashier. This CVS is located at the site formerly occupied by Longs Drugstore, perhaps the best chain of drugstores I have ever patronized. CVS is no Longs, but this is a good location, and I'm a fan. I generally get most of my prescription medications via mail, since this works best with my health insurance. However, if I need a one-off 30-day (or less) supply of a medication, this is my Go-To store. I have found the pharmacists to be very helpful when I have questions, and they have always filled my prescriptions correctly. This store has been remodeled, and I've noticed the lighting to be brighter, and the aisles wider and more accessible. The aisles are arranged in a very logical way, and finding whatever you need can be done with a minimum of fuss. In addition, one of the entry doors has been removed, leaving only one set of double doors for ingress/egress, a good way to enhance security. I am usually greeted as I walk through the doors. But then again, the occasional bum hanging around outside the store greets me, too. My wife always takes extra time to shop in the cosmetics aisles, giving me time to peruse the beer aisles. There are always some great sale prices on beer by the case, and the cooler is kept very well stocked. I get the weekly CVS flyer, and have found a considerable number of bargains therein. The CVS generic brand is always a very good deal, no matter what the product is. Checking out is no better than anywhere else, sometimes the lines get long . . . But then again, sometimes an alert cashier will call for backup, and somebody arrives with a flourish and a register key, and starts another line. Oh, and parking is never a problem at this location. All in all, it's a pleasant place to shop . . . Even if it's only for beer. read more

Service isn't great, to say the least. It was just before 9am and the person behind the counter was on her phone, I interrupted her to ask about the time the pharmacy opened. I asked her another question but she ignored me bc she was too busy scrolling on her phone. At opening I was never greeted by pharmacy employees just told "we'll be right with you". April helped me, she had a snotty attitude never smiled (I could tell bc her face didn't move at all and her tone of voice was snarky). It was opening time, 9am!! I'm the first customer! My consult with the pharmacist consisted of "I'm not sure, call your doctor". Okay. I'm taking my business elsewhere, wtf. read more

I have been to this location many times. Their shelves always seemed to be stocked with merchandise. The cleanliness of the store is inconsistent, sometimes its well organized, other times it looks like a hot mess! I gave this location 2 stars because of their customer service. Its not always bad, but the majority of the time it is. Most of the employees have no urgency in what they do...even when there is a line a mile long they take their sweet time or when they see a customer needing to ask a question they pretend like they don't see you even though you've been standing there for a while (cough Victor cough). This CVS location and the one on Plaza Blvd are the two locations I frequent and while the store on Plaza is closer to my home and 24 hours this location is my other location of choice. It's not as busy, parking is plentiful, and the staff are alright. Depending on how busy it gets its not as bad compared to the other location. They just recently input self checkout too but the quirks are still being worked out. Overall a good location to drop by. read more

I will start by saying, I love the pharmacist here. She is fantastic. Her staff, however, could use some work. I am not sure I spoke with about ten minutes ago regarding a prescription that was no refilled but she was incredibly rude and unhelpful. She was not only curt in her responses, she offered no assistance whatsoever. Her response was, "well, it's not covered. something changed." Well, perhaps had she attempted to see why it was not approved she would have known that because the dosage increased, pre-authorization was necessary. I am not sure what happened to common courtesy when it comes to assisting customers but this lady failed, miserably. read more

This review is about the pharmacy. The lead pharmacist, Dr R, is amazing and her customer service is very personal. I can't believe she remembers her customers month after month. I think that's very cool. If they're out of a particular medication she calls other CVS pharmacies to see if they have it and stuff. Her staff are prompt and courteous. This store has been remodeled twice since it took over the old Longs location a few years ago. It's set up with wider aisles and the store lay out makes it more convenient to locate what your looking for. I'm in and out in no time. I have never had to wait in line once. As soon as a line starts to form somebody appears and opens up another register. I'm able to go about my day without waisting time in line. The staff is polite and very helpful. The only downside is I wish that the store was 24hrs. read more

Good CVS. It used to be Long's when I was growing up, and it looks like it hasn't been remodeled since then. It has what I need when I need to run in and out, whether that be soda, a cheap bottle of wine for a gift, or advil. I came to this CVS yesterday after going to the one on Plaza and was so relieved when I walked in. Practically empty and good smelling. I was looking for makeup. I recently went to this CVS and did not have a great experience. The cashier "Bernadette" is not very helpful and rude in the way she speaks to you. She doesn't even smile nor greets you when you walk in.I asked her for an item that was in the sale ad, her reply was she didn't know where its at and for me to come back after 3pm so someone else can help me when they came in for their shift. She did not bother to even look for the item I was asking about or direct me to where it could be. She was not friendly nor helpful. If your looking for not friendly service, come to this CVS and ask for Bernadette! On the flip side, i give 5 stars for Zekiel, he is very courteous, friendly and helpful. Because I was in the area I decided to stop in the CVS and find out what they had to offer as for make up I found a few clearance items and they weren't ringing up correctly so when I ask the clerk to please check the prices and that I had to take a phone call outside when I came back they were rude and acted like I had not even been in the store less than 2 minutes prior to that this is the worst experience at CVS I've ever had and Joey was not helpful read more

I came to purchase a $100 VISA gift card only to find out that after I purchased it the gift card was not properly activated. Had to call customer service and now I have to wait. Horrible pharmacy and Pharmacist. Worst customer service. Had a medicine that was approved by MD for refill. Had proof on my patient portal that it was done and was still made to call for request from MD. Don't pharmacies call doctors anymore for refill as a courtesy to the customer? Went in for a job interview (I was being transferred from another CVS since siblings can't work together) so I asked for Ivan (manager). Cashier told me to walk to the pharmacy and turn left and he'll meet me there. On the way, a guy said hi to me, I smiled and walked away. Little did I know that was the manager (first impression ruined). But here's the problem: he was not wearing his name tag, so I was unable to tell if he was Ivan (manager), or a regular employee. I ended up not getting the job because my schedule did not work out (I doubt it, most likely because I walked passed him). It's amazing how a MANAGER can be so irresponsible and can't even comply with the company's uniform policy. read more

I been a customer here for the longest and still continue to go since it's the closest thing to my house and I like avoiding going to major retails such as Walmart and target etc. There is this cashier her name is Lisa...now Lisa doesn't have the proper manners for a customer service spot. However if you lack manners, greetings and a smile, I would at least expect knowledge. I have the carepass and while asking her questions regarding the 20% that by the way she assure me it was applied and I did not see it. Then I had other rewards that were not applied to the purchase and when asking her about it she just answered all short and rude. One star is one star too many. I rather drive MILES AWAY then come here. Customer service doesn't exist. No one communicates anything with you. If you need your medication because you've ran out don't even bother. They will say it's ready in 30 min. You'll come pick it up. Oh guess what! It's not ready or even worst it's not in stock. So WHY DID YOU TELL ME IT WAS READY IN 30 min?? At least call to let the patient know so they can make arrangements so they won't stay without medication. They legit don't care. Patient care is number negative 1000 on their priority list. They don't answer calls. You will stay on hold for over an hour NO LIE OVER AN HOUR don't bother calling and you'll also be in line over an hour at the physical pharmacy only to be sent to another line because they lied saying your order would be ready in 30 min when it's actually out of stock. Only one representative is nice and assertive but if he is not working you're screwed. If you are considering coming here for your pharmacy needs: RUN AWAY... FAR AWAY. I am not much of a fan of this location. First off Every time I come here the coupon machine is out of receipt tape. Items seem to be out of stock quickly or maybe they just don't have anyone to stock the shelves? I only ever see a cashier working. Is the whole store run by just the cashier? Dennis and the pharmacy is useless. Be careful with this location as they will waste your time. Their fax machine does not work properly, they could not get my prescription started even though I had a hard copy I had to call my doctor to have them fax it over again. Very disappointing very laid-back attitude unbelievable that is still happening and 2015 I write this review carefully. Our family have been customers of Longs and then CVS. Recently, there has been an alarming turn over in employees in the pharmacy. I went in last week with an Rx for NPH insulin - at unusually low dose. The young man that waited on me stated he had never heard of NPH insulin. This did not give me any confidence in his ability to help me and I was right. He did not offer an further assistance or ask me if I wanted to speak to the pharmacist. I called another pharmacy (a rival) and was told they didn't carry the particular strength I was looking for, but they would be happy to order it for me. Buh-bye, CVS. read more
