I came to this CVS at 2:30am with my friend who was desperately in need of a restroom. They told us where it was without being annoying about buying anything or the time of day. Afterwards, we spent the next 30 minutes perusing everything the store had to offer. They have a separate (big) section of their candy just for "sugar free" snacks and they had an entire section of just different face masks that I've never seen so abundant of in my life. They really have it all there, and though I can't speak to their customer service as there were no employees (just security and self-checkout lines) the security was nice and accommodating. read more

I love CVS but I must say the cashiers look miserable and I am referring to the one by Columbus circle. There was a cashier her last name was Vargas as well and that's why I remember her and she was the absolutely best cashier ever always friendly and smile and didn't mind I had my coupons. The new cashiers now OMG they look at you with a face is like they are wondering why I have the coupons and why I didn't use self checkout. They changed their pharmacy manager who implemented seemingly arbitrary rules about only filling certain prescriptions for "regular customers." This office is across the street from my doctors office yet they said since I don't live in the zip code (I live half a mile away) and since I'm not a regular customer (I got prescriptions filled here less than two months ago AND have had this particular medication filled this year) that they won't be able to help me. Too bad. there's another location on 9th ave and also locations all over the city. Steer clear of this one for medicines as they will make it difficult for you. read more

I love this place. Nice, new building, great selection, a Minute Clinic right by the pharmacy and most importantly, great service. The pharmacists are really friendly, and I've never waited more than ten minutes for my prescription. This is a fully stocked drugstore/pharmacy/convenience store. If you want a shingles shot, they have it. If you want a jug of Clorox, they have it. They have eyeglasses and chocolates and everything in between. However, if they really want to take over the health care industry, they are going to have to step up their game. The Pharmacy/Minute Clinic section was very crowded with customers, but lacked well-trained staff. It was also very dirty and the area where they have to give vaccine injections is an ill-thought out afterthought. They need to step up their game. They are trying, but they are not ready yet. read more

I purchased a container of Aveda hair product from CVS, assuming they would charge the same as the Aveda store across the street. Turns out they charge $27.49 for the identical container that is $22.00 at Aveda! So after spending an extra $5.49 on a $22.00 container, I was totally frustrated to find out that the gel was a totally different, thicker consistency than the usual Aveda product - more like a wax. I wrote to Aveda, and here is what they replied: CVS is not an authorized retailer of Aveda and we cannot guarantee the authenticity or performance of products purchased at their locations. The sale of Aveda products through unauthorized businesses is called diversion and it is a rampant challenge in the entire professional beauty industry. Indeed, in our research, the products sold at these locations are frequently very old, and in some cases contain product that is not even Aveda. I wrote to CVS and they said their products are sold "lawfully". They didn't respond to why the same bottle is $27.49 instead of the Aveda list price of $22.00. read more

I visited the CVS on 15 mile Road and Farmington Road in West Bloomfield this past Tuesday. November 12 between 1 and 3:00 PM. I have been a CVS customer for the past 30 years and I've never had bad service in any store. I went there with two family members w disabilities. for flu shots. The person who waited on me was named Alla along w a a pharmacist on duty. I have never encountered two such unfriendly rude individuals in any CVS store. The pharmacist giving the shots was harsh and grumpy. The system for giving flu shots was completely disorganized the system for waiting on customers was completely disorganized. The process took 2 1/2 hours. There was an interruption w a short power outage that caused a delay. That was not the problem here. Bad customer service occurred before the outage. I will not return to this store. read more

Where do I start?... I think that Thai runs this pharmacy excellently. He is informative, thoughtful and caring. The other pharmacists always seem to be great except when you go late at night. the few times I have gone in the late evening, it seems as if it is a completely different place. I went in one night to pick up a few things and get some cash back. I was exhausted after a few long work days and completely walked out without getting my cash back. I realized that when I went to pay for something a few hours later and ran back to the store. I really didn't think they'd believe that I forgot to take the cash back even if I showed them my receipt. To my surprise, not only did they believe me, but the manager gave me $5 CVS cash in return. I really appreciated how kind they were about it in a city where there can be so many liars. Thank you CVS! read more

What would I do without this store? 24 hours where I can pick up my prescription and last minute kitchen goods or products! In terms of food notice choice just for kitchen cupboard goods, however a good selection of shampoos and face and body products I can be left deciding for a while, they always have discounts on something so can always find a bargain! I find the self service machines a great feature as the queue is super quick especially with tills on the upstairs section too. read more

Worst service I've ever received at a pharmacy. All of the pharmacists sound uneducated and are far less helpful than employees at the DMV. My doctor approved a prescription, and the pharmacy has no record of it and says it was denied. Back and forth and back and forth. Unbelievable amount of brain damage, insane rudeness and incompetence. The pharmacist actually recommended that I go to a different pharmacy, and I am doing just that. I'm pretty sure they hire former McDonald's employees as pharmacists at this location. read more

Since coupons often create problems when using self checkout i needed a cashier. 10 minute wait. They've got the wrong priorities for customer service. Review for the minute clinic. I came in at 7pm to get a vaccine. The wait was 15 mins (and the minute clinic closes at 7:30). I signed in and everything was fine. I ended up waiting a half an hour only to have the nurse practitioner then finally come out and say that the computer shuts down at 7:30 and I needed to come back. They should have never allowed me to check in if they couldn't take me. I wasted 30 mins waiting to be turned away. Unprofessional and unacceptable. read more

I have used this pharmacy multiple times and only in an emergency will ever god back. On multiple occasions they have failed to notify me that my prescription is out of stock, hours or a day after the prescription has been called in. On another occasion, because of an staff error they LOST my prescription and had to search for it for 20 min. DO NOT GO HERE! There are a million pharmacies in the city and it is not worth the frustration to use this one. read more

This is a review of the Minute Clinic NEVER GOING BACK HERE AGAIN! I went to the minute clinic early before work, as I had not felt well for 5 days and knew at this point it turned into a sinus infection. I signed in at the minute clinic before work where there was a 2 hour wait. There was an option to have them text you 30 minutes before your appointment and I gladly clicked that and went back to my office around the block for what I would of thought would be an hour and a half. The second I got back to my office I got a text saying my appointment was in 15 minutes and if I didn't show up within 15 minutes I'd lose my place in line. I ran back to the minute clinic and saw that my wait was actually 25 minutes. I didn't think anything of it but then time kept passing and I ended up waiting for 45 minutes; this was extremely annoying. Finally when I saw the doctor, I explained that I've not felt well for over 5 days and knew at this point I had a sinus infection and needed an antibiotic. She responded no problem and asked my questions about what I've been taking and if anything was helping. I told her what I've been taking and said nothing has been working. Finally, after 20 minutes, she told me that I should keep taking what I was using (over the counter products such as mucinex and claritin). I immediately told her that clearly these over the counter products were not working and that I needed an antibiotic because I know my body and I knew I had a sinus infection. She refused to give me a prescription, saying that she wants to wait another 5 days, before giving me an antibiotic and told me to go see my ENT or primary doctor if I wanted a prescription. I started getting angry because the whole point of going to the walk in was so I can get an antibiotic that was close to my work without having to make an appointment at a doctor's office and not wasting much of my time. She kept refusing to give me a prescription and I walked out with absolutely nothing in return, except my receipt from the co-pay I had to pay. This was a HUGE HUGE waste of time and money and I do not understand the point of having this doctor, or rather nurse practitioner, at this clinic if she does not want to help. I was clearly very sick and she agreed that I had a sinus infection and yet still refused to treat me. I will never go back here and would like her to know that I indeed had a sinus infection (after seeing my doctor) and am beyond angry and upset that she refused to treat this and give me the proper medicine. read more

Love this store. It's brand new. Service is great and managers are awesome. Minute clinic is by pharmacy. Have restrooms open to the public (very few businesses do that in NYC) they have seating areas. There's always someone there to help you. Organic and vegetarian food as well. And of course an elevator that doesn't stink . read more

Got a message from this CVS on Thursday that my daughter's prescription needed to be ordered. By end of business Monday I hadn't heard anything so I called and was told that they had a new manager who couldn't order it for some reason until the month had changed over (it was now the 2nd) and it wouldn't be in for another couple of business days. I asked that as it was the 2nd, had the new manager ordered it? I requested an honest answer. The answer was no. So now I have to have the doctor re-send the prescription to another pharmacy. Thank god this isn't a life-threatening situation, while very inconveniencing and not great for her. What if it was a serious situation where a gap in medication could really do damage? They basically just let you wait till you give up. After I finish filling this last prescription I will never return to this CVS- back to the mom and pop stores for me. She took about 10 shots, with and without various accessories - and we finally settled on one that almost looked like me! She couldn't have been nicer or more professional. Very nicely run, a pleasure to shop there, a truly excellent CVS location! Their pharmacy is THE best! Great professionalism, competence, politeness and courtesy is what they always display, on top of being so friendly and welcoming! Mr. Michael Arteta at the pharmacy is, on top of being extremely professional and competent, also modest and humble - which was a pleasure to behold. While dealing with my prescription, he wasn't aware that on the wall behind him a framed award diploma with his name and achievement ("Best for 2015") had been placed. Noticing the name "Michael" on his uniform pocket, I inquired if he was Michael Arteta and congratulated him on the distinction and he was truly surprised to hear about it, smiling shyly. He had not noticed that the framed award was hanging on that wall! A beautiful attitude, on top of his excellent work! This review is of the photo department, and in particular new register staff on the second floor of the store. I stopped by to pick up a photo order, and clearly the associate assisting me at the register was not properly trained. First, she did not know where to find photo orders ready for pick up even though they were all in a stack near the register. We had to wait for her colleague to be available to point her in the right direction. It did not help that her colleague was scolding her, unprofessional and very awkward to watch. Then when we finally found my photos, I pointed out to her that some of the photos were printed on the wrong size paper (as confirmed on my order receipt) thus leaving large white gaps along the sides of the photo. She snapped back I should cut them when I get home. I asked politely if the photo department could use their straight edge trimmer, readily available and sitting on their counter, to trim off the excess, and she snapped back "Can you pay now? Pay now. Just pay." After paying and asking again, she finally paged a manager, who several minutes later, turned up and fixed the photos while being quite pleasant. Entire process took over 15 minutes with barely anyone else in line, when the whole point of ordering photos online was to pick up quickly and leave. read more
