Since the CVS in the Village of Orange closed, this is the closest one to me whose hours align with when I'm available. So that's the first positive thing about this pharmacy. Not many are open until 9 pm and 6 pm on weekends. Because of their great hours, they can get busy, even at 8 pm, so expect to wait. At the same time, I've walked in and found no wait, so it's hit-or-miss. Most of the pharm techs are super friendly. The pharmacists always seem rushed during consults, but I get that they are busy. I've also received a couple of flu shots here. It's not as convenient as the one in Target up the street, but they do have a small private room, which is nice. The rest of the store is relatively clean. They do lock up some merchandise due to theft, which is annoying if you're in a hurry. I would only buy things here for convenience's sake, since there are better prices elsewhere. read more

This CVS location is convenient for parking, proximity to other quality stores, and pharmacy hours 7 days a week. Besides those above, expect techs and pharmacists to ignore you for minutes at the drop-off counter, long lines especially during weekends, including the mobile pick-up line that's supposed to be alot more zippy. Only silver lining is that I could ring up a few items from the store side with my prescription pickup. I'm thinking of moving my preferred pharmacy elsewhere, but their large inventory does save me from having them order from offsite and returning the following day. read more

Absolutely NO !! The pharm clerks just can't figure out how the line works nor their own system. When I walked up I was the only person in Line. I chose the express as I was ready to digitally check. As time went, others started lining up in the regular. I waited til 3 others were called before me. Then I blew up asking just does the line system work. explaining just how long I've patiently waited. They apologized, I replied the doesn't solve your disrespect to my problem now does it ? I made a special effort to do this review because I was so impressed with the system at this very busy pharmacy and how well everyone worked together and they were quick and efficient for a prescription my pharmacy didn't have on hand. We have to use a union(UFCW) pharmacy only, after Rite Aid closed I picked Savon near out house and like them just fine but had to go to Katella for this prescription. Very professional, kind, caring staff is what I saw. I was kind of stunned by the excellent service and hard-working folks there. I will use them again as they are open later than mine. read more

I've been using CVS for a couple of decades. But now I have new prescription insurance so I have to change to their preferred pharmacy. I've been trying for over 2 weeks to get 1 prescription transferred over. The poor pharmacist at the new pharmacy has tried 5 times over the past 2 and a half weeks to get the transferred done for me. The Cvs pharmacy tells her each time they'll fax the info, but 5 times now they have not. A simple thing like this turns into a very stressful thing for me, as the medication is a crucial one. Do NOT have your prescriptions sent here. I went to get my father's prescription filled AND THEY ENDED UP REFILLING THE WRONG ONE. First off, WARREN rushed me through the process and assured me he put in the correct one. I was told to come back over an hour later and when I did, it was WRONG!! So I had to wait EVEN LONGER to get home. I did not receive ONE apology for their MISTAKE!!! To top it off, they did not tell me the copayment at the beginning, otherwise I would have given them the GoodRX coupon in the beginning, When I presented it to them, they said I had to do the transaction ALL OVER AGAIN!! Do they think I want to waste even MORE TIME at that place?!?! You would think at that point because they wasted almost two hours of my time to begin with, they would try to rectify the situation by honoring the coupon...I guess that is TOO MUCH to ask for from this incompetent pharmacy. I REALLY hope the manager contacts me regarding this matter because this was very ridiculous. And refilling the WRONG MEDICATION should NOT just be swept under the rug. Do not purchase gift cards from this store! I spent $150.00 on a gift card that was activated in the store and when the recipient went to use it, the card had a $0 balance. The reviews don't lie.. the service has gone downhill especially in the pharmacy dept. I use the app to request refills as their phone line can take up to 45 min for someone to answer. After days of no response I have to call the store and ask why it isn't refilled yet and they never have an answer just that they will "do it now" and it'll be ready end of day. Re: Pharmacy they appear to have a policy that won't allow the nice clerks to complete your check out until a pharmacist comes over and advises you that you are eligible for certain vaccines. This resulted in the checkout line, with three registers, having to stop twice, once for 7 minutes and another for 9 minutirs waiting for a pharmacist to come and do their thing. the line was past the entrance door. this is avoidable. please consider amending your practice that negatively impacts your customers read more

Been attending for years! Actually attending is the wrong word, but I have been using their pharmacy for a long time. The pharmacists are super cool and eager to help. I once walked in and I was like homie I got this RX to fill, can you do that? The Pharm was like bruh, we good son. I gotchu sit yo butt down the liquor isle while I turn this up. I was like chill! Went up to the front clerk lady, I was like yo G, hook it up with that code to the restroom. She was like yeah you cool, you fly, you a regular rodeo rider. I turned to her and said fo sho (not knowing what she was talking 'bout). So I was like so them digits? She was bruh its easy just them digits and bam the door should open. Cool, so I walk over to the restroom and bam slap that code box, it gets real lit, punch up that code and gat! that door opens up like Narnia. Where to start. I tried this pharmacy for 2 years. Almost every time I went in, they could not bill my insurance correctly. I had to continually update my insurance. My family of 5 all has the same insurance. Two of my youngest kids needed antibiotics at the same time. Apparently, even though they were the same insurance, same medication (generic) filled 2 days apart, they were different prices. How?! No one will lift a finger to help you figure it out. My youngest needed medication when he was very young and it needed to be ordered. They claimed, three days in a row, that they had forgotten to put in the order for the medication. Then they couldn't figure out how to bill my insurance, I was so desperate, I bought the ridiculously priced medication in cash. After having gone to this pharmacy for years, having never filled a single pain medication prescription here, I walk in 8 months pregnant trying to fill my pain medication a day before my C-section. I explained why I needed it and I was clearly pregnant. I NEVER get any restricted medications. I'm not even on any consistent medication. They refused to fill it for me. Wouldn't tell me why. I'm pretty sure I don't look like a drug addict and I am definitely not any lists for getting pain meds filled anywhere because I'm never prescribed them. I had to run around town, literally hours before my c section hoping someone could fill it for me so I could be comfortable during my recovery. They will tell you over the phone that your medication is ready and then when you get there, they'll tell you it'll take another 20 minutes. I asked for suggestions from the pharmacist on what products to keep at home for my first c section recovery a while back. Things like gauze. She was so irritated with me. I know you're busy but you don't have to be rude. I have never dealt with such a rude pharmacy before. I've never had to have my insurance call them so many times to clear up my coverage. CVS is doing a scam whereby they ask you if you would like to link your prescriptions together so they will be ready at the same time. (I normally pay a co-pay for a 30 day prescription). Sounds great, until you pay your co-pay for the first partial prescription (in my case 8 days worth of meds). Eight days go by and I ran out of my meds. I go into the pharmacy and ask why am I paying a second co-pay for the rest of my meds at the time my other meds are ready? The guy behind the counter raised his shoulders and said "I don't know." This is the worse pharmacy ever! The techs are awful and so rude! My poor grandmother had been on hold for 45 mins just to ask a simple question. The tech asked her what she needed and my grandmother gave her date of birth and her question and she was placed on hold for 45 mins!!! Unbelievable! That was so unnecessary! By the looks of it My poor grandparents aren't the only ones getting treated horrible here. How is this place still operating? What happened to customer service? If I could give a zero I would. Told me they never received proscription. Need medications to live. Terminal Leukemia. They actually had my proscription but did not want to notify me that my insurance did not covered it, so instead they claimed the never received it from my doctor. After hours of emergency calls to my doctor and verification of receipt of prescription the pharmacist admitted they had the prescription but did not fill it. CVS Tustin/Katella had 2 out of 4 of my prescriptions. Rough start in that all four are common. Pharm tech Peter told me to wait on hold while he called other CVS pharmacies. I waited..and waited...until someone picked up the line and hung up on me after 55 minutes on hold. I called back and had to wait 15 minutes to get through to a human. Peter had every excuse, "Someone else had hung up, he had a tech checking new shipment, didn't have my callback info"...etc, etc. Since he had my prescription information, he did in fact have my callback information. Management was responsive. Anyone below them in rank makes it clear that they JUST...DON'T...CARE. There are other pharmacy choices. This pharmacy is horrible. Get calls saying prescription is ready for pick up and then show up and you have to wait 20mins for it to be filled (happens regularly). Made appointment online for a flu shot and when we show up they say child is too young- but apparently it wasn't because my child was too young it was because the pharmacist Warren didn't feel like giving the flu shot ( according to another pharmacist I spoke to over the phone when I told her about the incident she said we could come back in and do it with her instead). You can also never speak to someone when you call here, once you finally get through the automated system to connect you with a pharmacist to help you, the phone keeps ringing and then it hangs up on you because it has been ringing too long and it says to call back at a different time. read more

They gave me an estimate of 45 minutes so I decided to browse the store, debated going home for a bit, and while I was doing all that thinking - they called my name and I was in and out in a few minutes with no issues, no fuss and no muss.
