Never heard of them until my OB recommended them for availability of a medication that's always an issue to get at the big name pharmacies. They had it in stock and offered delivery of the medication. I have since had other medications filled here not only for me but for my family members and have had zero problems. They are very easy to contact by phone, polite, just overall efficient. I've never had an issue with anyone who has delivered my medication, some of them text just to let me know it's been delivered even with a picture. They have been One of the best recommendations I've received from a doctor. For anyone who could be hesitant to use a small, local pharmacy, remember that the big name pharmacies could care less about filling your Rx because at the end of the day, they get a paycheck from corporate. So if there's an issue with your Rx, sometimes there's zero effort to actually get it resolved in a timely efficient manner because of that. These smaller local pharmacies actually care to make sure Rx is filled because they are paid by the insurance companies. That's what keeps them in business. Keep that in mind when your big name pharmacy tells you they've ordered your medication and have no idea when they'll get it in stock. read more

Prime's prices have significantly beaten Costco's on a few of my medications. They have had medication in stock that Costco has been out of. Exceptional service: they deliver my medications right to my front door free of charge in a reasonable amount of time. And everyone I've spoken with there is friendly and helpful. Really cool setup I haven't seen before and I like that I get regular interactions with a pharmacist that usually turns into an actual conversation. I tried talking to pharmacists at Walgreens down the street like even small talk, but I think they are too busy or don't care. Either way my meds cost the same price and if I have questions it's not a 10 minute wait on hold. Also at Walgreens I swear the pharmacists were lazy and would call me to ask me to call my doctor about some sort of authorization EVERY REFILL. I haven't had to call my doctor once with this place though. read more

Highly recommend this pharmacy. Unlike Walgreens or Rite Aid where it is very impersonal and super transaction like, this pharmacy actually cares and explains things and takes their time to know us. Dr. Ma is very knowledgeable and attentive. To top it off this pharmacy actually delivers. I don't have to wait in line and just wait for my prescriptions to arrive. I was prescribed medicine that literally every national pharmacy chain (rite aid, cvs and Walgreens) are out of. My doctor recommended i try an "independent pharmacy" so i typed that into yelp and found prime pharmacy. What a flipping hidden gem. I drove over. The pharmacist was a doll. Filled my scrip in 5 minutes. Chatted me up about supporting small business and sent me on my way. I learned that with insurance the cost out of pocket for the consumer is the absolute same so why not support a small business instead?! This pharmacy is excellent. They couldn't be more kind, helpful, or knowledgeable. It is rare to find a non-corporate run pharmacy these days. So it was very refreshing to find a pharmacy that is family owned and treats each customer with the attention and care that big box drug stores don't offer. They were more than happy to take the time to answer all of my questions, which I appreciated since it seems like I'm always annoying the pharmacist at CVS when I ask more than two questions. I'm done dealing with the hassle, mix ups, and delays that all retail pharmacies seem to come with, and will be using Prime Pharmacy moving forward! I have a brand-name prescription that my insurance doesn't cover much and my go-to CVS pharmacy, after billing my insurance, charged me the co-pay of $360 for both prescriptions (this is for my lasik post-op medication). I was told by my doctor that it should cost $160 max for cash price after the coupon, or if the insurance pays, it will be copay of $60 for both. I went to Prime Pharmacy (the usual place that the dr. recommended), explained my situation to Jonathan. He has been very listening, and helpful. He helped me explaining the cost of the prescription, and when I ask for coupon, he has went above and beyond (for someone who is not his customer yet) to send me the link and walk me through how to get the coupon. I then came back to my CVS, presented the coupon and they could not honor it, nor price-match it because the coupon does not work for CVS. However, I was able to talk to the manager and they let me return the products. Even the coupon won't help, but it does show the CVS manager how dedicated I was and finally they let me returned the products. I am very grateful that it worked out well. And I want to thank Jonathan by writing this review. Providing service to your customer is not an easy task, but providing service to your "potential customer" is even harder.
