WORST PHARMACY EVER! Every time I go to refill the SAME medications for my son every month, it's a crap shoot as to whether they are going to have it in stock. Due to the nature of the meds, they will not let me refill unless it's 3 or 4 days left. Today, after waiting for 15 minutes, the pharmacy tech said, "Sorry, we don't have your medication." "That's okay, when will it be ready." His answer... "In a week. We just got our delivery." My response was, "This is a critical medication that my son cannot miss and you make me come 3 days before the last dose... now you're telling me it'll be a week?" "Yup... You're welcome to go to another pharmacy," he says with a glazed over, lack of concern look in his eyes. My response... "Ok. Please tell your head pharmacist that I will not be returning to this pharmacy OR CVS store... EVER." His response, "OK." So, if you choose to go here... beware. They could care less about service, support or their customer. I guess this young guy is going to be in a state of shock when they "downsize" their pharmacy department due to the fact that he's telling people to literally go to SavOn to refill. Or, maybe he just knows this place is terrible and was doing me a favor. read more

I called the pharmacy 5 days in a row and each time had to wait 20-30 minutes on hold before they answered. Every day I was told my prescription would be ready in 2-3 hours. I would call the next day and it still wasn't ready. Went down there and it still wasn't ready. There was no issues with the drs office or insurance. Just CVS incompetence. On day 5 I went there again and they told me they hadn't filled it because the pharmacist had a basic question for me. Really?! You couldn't ask me the 5 times I called or call me to ask me? Horrible, horrible customer service. read more

Aileen is a very sweet pharmacy tech. I've been coming to this pharmacy since I was a kid and now bring my children. She always has a wonderful attitude and smile. I wish I could request her everytime I pick up my meds. Theres another tech who I wish would be nice. Shes always short and isnt nice to my kids. I believe her name is Rosa or Rosalie. She has black glasses and black curly hair. If she can take customer service classes that would be helpful. I sometimes wait to come pick up my meds in Hope's I dont get her at the counter. I have lived in this area for quite a while and this CVS is just fine. I'm usually able to find the items I need. The lines are mercifully short in the evening, and the cashiers at the counter are courteous. Don't know what else you would ask for from a pharmacy store. Also, I recently started using their curbside pick up service. Initially the system had some glitches, but the store has fixed them and now I don't even need to step inside and my stuff gets delivered to my car. Been using cvs for my daughters maintenance medications for the last two years in Stanton. We recently moved to orange and this is the closest cvs to our house so we switched. We never had any issues in Stanton but since coming here we have had nothing but a headache. They lost my daughters authorization papers from her doctor not once but twice. They have given me the wrong medication, and everytime I come to get her meds there is a line around the block and they are never ready even though they are on auto refill. They are always confused and act like the world is coming to an end. Tonight I called to confirm her meds were ready drove there after work waited in line for 18 minutes only to be told her prescriptions needed to be ordered and wont be available till the next day. THE WORST CVS EVER. I have never been treated so poorly by pharmacy. No wonder these reviews are all so bad. I came here out of necessity because it's right by my sisters house. The girl that first helped me, Angie, acted almost intoxicated she acted so out of it. I had new insurance and she was immediately put off by my request. She acted like it was the hardest possible thing to do and it was going to take a VERY LONG TIME. Walmart similarly entered my new information in a matter of seconds and had it taken care of less than a week ago. Finally, I asked if someone else could handle my issue since Angie was giving me tons of attitude and mumbling comments under her breath. Christine then helped me and also acted like it was an end-of-this-world task. Ultimately, I was in such a big hurry and this had already taken 20 minutes of my time, that I ended up paying full price for the medicine. I will go back later, to another location, and get my money credited back since the people here were unable to use the system efficiently read more

Worlds slowest CVS. It took them over 28 hours to fill my daughters pink eye medicine. Got a text right after urgent care (10am) saying it was in the process of getting filled. Nothing happened. I went by at 6pm and still wasn't done. I was told to come back in an hour. I was unable to that night as I have two kids so I came at 12pm the next day....still not done! I had to sit at the window until they gave it to me because I couldn't let her pink eye keep getting delayed to be fixed. I recommend going ANYWHERE else. read more

This has to be the WORST pharmacy in OC. If I could give it a 0 I would but you have to at least give a 1 star. That being said... The customer service is horrible, there is 1 female employee who has been there for a while who is great but if she is not there when you go... You might as well leave. They never call you when they promise a call back and if they don't have your medication they won't tell you. If you can take your prescription somewhere else DO SO!!! I went through the drive thru pharmacy. I was supposed to be picking up retin-a gel, .1%. The pharmacy tech failed to tell me what strength the gel was and so I assumed it was .1%, rightfully so. I paid, and then she handed me the bag with my prescription in it. I looked at the prescription and it said .025%. That is not the right prescription. I told them and they said my doctor ordered that prescription. I asked if I could give it back because this is not the right prescription and I need to call my doctor. The pharmacist said absolutely not. So now I was charged for something I'm never going to use, and my insurance will not cover the right prescription for an entire month because they covered this one. This happened to my mom at a different pharmacy the same day and they gave her a refund. Definitely switching pharmacies!! You should too in case any mistakes happen!! read more

Conveniently located near home and have been going here since we moved into the area 5 years ago. Always friendly and courteous pharmacy workers. I especially love that they have a drive-thru for Rx pickups. I dont see why this place would have such crummy reviews. I would love if the hours werent so limited though. read more

This is the worse CVS that I ever dealt with! I tried to return the haircut kit within an hour after purchasing it. First the supervisor told me she would be able to refund me, but she couldn't credit back the 40% off coupon back to my account. She told me to come back the next day when her manager was there. So I went back on Friday, May 15, 2020 to see the manager. When I approached him, he told me I couldn't return and he wouldn't give me a refund due to the C-19 restrictions. Btw...I was not informed! I told him that the supervisor in charge yesterday agreed to give the refund, but she couldn't credit the coupon back to my account. He didn't explained any further, but told me to step aside and called the next customer! I thought that was very RUDE!!! I asked him when this restriction will be over; he continue ignoring me! This manager is rude and don't deserve his job! He doesn't realize customers are so important, especially during this unprecedented Pandemic situation! Without CVS customers, he doesn't even have a job! This is a classic example of an ignorant and ungrateful individual!!! I will never come back or recommend anyone to this CVS store! This pharmacy forgot to call my doctor to get my medications approved and did not let me know until three months later. The pharmacy manager was supposed to call me and did not. When I called him, he was very rude and hung up on me. Staff there will follow you around if they suspect you might steal something. Very sad because other locations are not like this one. I used to use this pharmacy ALL the time and typically never had problems. However, over the past year it has DRASTICALLY taken a turn for the worst. I have been pretty ill the past few months which requires a lot of medications and trips to the pharmacy. I can't even begin to count how many times they have screwed up my prescriptions. It took them 5 days to get one medication figured out with my doctor, took another 4 days to get a COMMON medication "in stock", and would straight up not even have my prescription after I triple checked that it had been sent over from my MD office. This is causes a delay in treatment and is completely unacceptable, especially when i work the medical field and understand the importance of these medications. I'm NEVER returning. read more

HORRIBLE customer service. I've been here before and never had an issue. Today, I'm waiting in line for a good 2 mins wondering where the cashier was ... little did I know she was standing in front of me doing nothing (fixing gum.. basically nothing ). Anyway I say out loud "I wonder where the cashier is ". She says nothing. So I decide to go to the self check out and as im paying, she goes to the cash register and I say "oh so u work here, I was waiting behind you and u didn't say anything at all" and she said "well that's what the self check out is for" (mind you, other people were also wondering where the cashier was). So I said "yes, but you could've just said you weren't going to help us and to use the self check out instead of making us wait around and figure it out at some point". She responds and says "I'm not going to waste my energy on you. You can talk to y manager if you want. " So I did speak with Sean, the manager who said nothing but "I'm sorry". The cashier who needs A LOT of customer service training is Arlette. I don't recommend this CVS unless they bring back the other cashiers who are super polite, helpful and friendly. read more

Came in to this CVS at 9:30PM on a Sunday after spending all day in the sun at the wedge in Newport. Horribly sunburned I made a beeline for the aloe vera gel and then had to impulse buy a pumpkin pie flavored chapstick in honor of fall (because I'm basic like that). The cashier who rung up my items was so nice and in such an infectiously good mood! At that time of night on a Sunday, I would personally want to be anywhere else but working the cash register at a CVS. But this woman was so friendly and genuinely nice making small talk with me about my day that it turned my quick trip to the store into an exceptional experience. I hope someone in management reads this and gives my cashier, DeJaniero, a raise or bonus because she more than deserves it! read more

Love this location. So close to my house and the sales people are always so nice. DeJaniero is my absolute favorite! If you're having a bad day she will perk your mood right up! She is very friendly and genuine. I love shopping here for the deals, and chatting with her at the register is a huge perk. Cannot speak highly enough of the customer service here. read more

This review is for the pharmacy ONLY. The regular CVS employees are friendly, helpful and quick. The pharmacy staff are just the opposite. They are rude, unhelpful, and clueless. I don't know where they find these people, but it's hard to believe that they actually know what they are doing. I would seriously think twice about filling your rx's here if you have any type of allergies. Even if you don't, I'd be worried about them mixing up the bottles and pills. Hands down worst pharmacy. The staff is always rude and seems like they're in a rush, but I always see them not doing much. Also it's a real hassle when I tell them over the phone that I need to pick up my prescription and they say that I can come back in 20 min, and when I stop by they don't even have it ready. Today I waited behind a car for 15 minutes in the drive-thru only to find out they weren't even being assisted. Then when the woman FINALLY helped them, she took another 15 to get their prescription. I only gave it two stars because they sell some make up I like. the staff if very unfriendly. I have been waiting for their call for almost a week, they told me once my medication was ready they'd call me right away. I didn't get anything, I called them and my medicine was ready the same day I ordered it. why didn't they call? I have no idea. they're very unhelpful. one lady told me both my medications were ready when there was only one. I have to start them both at the same time and well let's just say I never hear from them when my meds are ready or anything. so now I'm switching to another pharmacy on Chapman. they don't stop calling you until you pick them up! the total opposite. read more

Never see the same people behind the counter twice. They don't seem to know how to do anything, always keep me waiting even after they text me saying my drugs are ready. Has to be the worst pharmacy in the area. My experience is not just a single case but spans over one year and two months. After setting up my prescriptions here I would consistently have to wait an average of 45 minutes to get them filled. Kept getting told my medicine was at a CVS in LB. My doctors assured me this was on their end. It took about 9 months and about 6 hours of waiting time to get this fixed. Yesterday I attempted to pick up some meds which I was completely out of. I was told I could pay out of pocket until Monday when they could fill my Rx. ?? I asked for a couple of pills to get me through the weekend since getting my money back from the insurance would be practically impossible. Nope...can't do it even though they have done this multiple times!! Enough already, there are several pharmacies I can give my business too. Good riddance!!! read more

Very slow and unorganized pharmacy. I usually go to the one off la veta and main which is across from a hospital and they STILL are faster and better organized. I tried going there first which is out of my way to begin with, but I knew they are typically very efficient. Unfortunately their wait was an hour because so many patients from the hospital had come in. They said this location would most likely be slower and gave me the phone number to call and check. I called ahead and the lady on the phone already rubbed me the wrong way with her tone and lack of any enthusiasm. I was told the wait would be 25 minutes or less. I came in and was then told the wait would be an HOUR which is ridiculous in my opinion. This isn't a very busy location from what I've seen during previous visits. I went home and waited an hour with no call received. I then waited a total of an hour and a half and when I finally called to see what was going on, I was literally put on an immediate hold for 10 minutes (yes I actually saw the approximate time on my phone) after being told there was one caller ahead of me. Again I've never had this happen in any other cvs. The guy then told me that the script was just finished 5 minutes ago which is why I did not revive a call. That may be true but I think it's insane it took them 1.5 hours to fill one prescription in a relatively slow location. One of my scripts isn't even filled yet because they have to order and fill it for tomorrow. Here's to hoping I actually get it on time as promised. This location is way to slow and unorganized for me. I will not be returning. read more

I am a regular shopper at this CVS location. Normally DeJaneiro or Erick or Hung ring me up with me products and I am satisfied with their Customer Service. However, last week I went to the store and saw some good deals, but then I decided to come back the next day. So, I went back and got a pair of products which where on sale. I went to the cash register and the person there tells me that they are regular priced, then I said that I saw a tag saying they were on sale and that's why I went that day to buy them. This cashier calls Martha, in "customer service" and go back to the aisle to tell her where I got my items and she says that I am wrong because my item is regular priced and that tag is for something else. Then she removes the tag and tells me that if I want it, it's gonna be regular priced. I told her that is not supposed to be like that because the error is not mine, but it is their error. She says ok, and brings me to the cash register. Then I had some deal on my card and told her to apply it, and since I had spent more than a certain amount, I also had a manufacturer coupon. I gave to her and she reluctantly and with a bad attitude says "no, you can't use this coupon, you have to reach the amount first, then I told her that I had already done it, and she says no because I applied the other discount. I told her, just scan it and see what the computer says or if it will accept it and she says that I do not understand and that she will not scan it. Then I asked MARTHA that I wanted to see her manager and she angrily yells at me and says that the manager is the lady in the next cash register. I grabbed my things and the other cashier, Ireri, was so helpful, she scanned everything without refusal or attitude and said that she was sorry about Martha's attitude. I told her it wasn't her fault. However, until this day , I don't feel comfortable going to this store again. This person was really mean to me and treated me really bad. She used to be at the pharmacy counter and I guess that she got kicked out from there because of her bad mood. She looks like mad all the time. read more
