Horrible service. No Pharmacist on duty at times while they are open! I'm told the Law requires I speak with Pharmacist for new prescription even if I want to decline a consult! If this is law then pharmacy should always have a Pharmacist on duty while open. read more

I've never had a problem. Sometimes the line is long and it takes a while, but they've always been helpful and friendly.

They were so rude to me here. I am just a delivery driver and I needed to pick up some orders. First they lied to me about having one order because they didn't feel like making it(which sounds illegal). They made me cry man...I don't usually get butthurt but this ruined my Friday. Literally the only reason I still come here was because I've been using this specific pharmacy so long and it's in target so it's an excuse for me to shop while I wait. But today was the last straw. My prescriptions are NEVER done on time. They're either too early or they're late. As a pharmacy tech myself, I try to give them the benefit of the doubt. I understand things take time, drs don't always fax back in time, insurance is a nightmare etc. But, to be told it will be ready at 12 when it's 9 am, I get there at 12 and it's not ready is a bit annoying. But the infuriating part is that when I get there she tells me she's "not comfortable filling until she sees my clinical notes". Okay great. So now I play a song and dance game trying to contact my provider to fax the pharmacy but they're about to go to lunch so I have to wait. NOW THE PHARMACIST IS GOING TO LUNCH. It's almost night time and they still haven't filled it and the automated system says it won't be filled for 4 more days!!!I've officially been at target for 5 fugging hours. I will be transferring everything out of here and I suggest you all do the same. read more

Still giving this place a BIG FAT ZERO STARS if I could. After filling my insulin prescription here for over TWO YEARS I am still supposed to have a ZERO copay. I walk in again and they tried to charge me $1200. I am no standing here AGAIN explaining how to bill my crap for the millionth time. Take your business somewhere else. CVS does not have enough people to check out prescriptions. The wait time is usually 10-20mins and if you call to see if your order is ready, you'll wait to talk to an actual person for at LEAST 15 MINUTES. So frustrating! I gave them the name of a new Dr. I was seeing, and it took them 4 months to get the change of Dr. in the system after I called 3 times and spoke to them in person twice. Really bad CVS....if you read these at all, do something about your customer service. read more

Horrible place. The lady with short blonde hair in particular is always very snippy and rude to me and my mom, but even though the others are nice they don't seem to care about her attitude. At times they will just decide not to order my medication, which is dangerous since stopping them suddenly could cause a seizure, so we have to go find a place that does have it. Even just trying to get them to send text alerts about my prescriptions to the right number is impossible with how incompetent they are. read more

Tried to get a VA prescription for test strips filled here, they could not find it in their computer. It was sent Friday, 7/23/21. I called the VA twice to verify that it was sent, and it was. I told Janet, the cashier, and she got rather snotty. "Just because you can push buttons doesn't make it so." I am not sure whether the pharmacy or the VA is lying, but I am not happy being accused of lying and then told to move out of the way by a hostile cashier. Not right. read more

Same great people as before it switched to CVS. I read some of the reviews and felt that as someone who picks up a lot of medication here as Im a type 1 diabetic, it needed to be said that the staff is always friendly and helpful. There is almost never a line here to pick up medication. I have a lot of my medications on auto refill and when they are ready for pick up I get a text notification. If I am not ready to pick them up yet I just ignore the text and they get re shelved. James B complained that they're crooks because they were refilling prescriptions that he didn't order. James, if you have your RX's on auto refill that's what they will do. If the difficult patients want to go else where, I say good. It lessens the burden on the pharmacy and makes it that much faster for us regular customers to get in and out. read more

I changed all my prescriptions to CVS in Atascadero and get great service there. Andrew CVS Target is the only personable and competent Pharmacy Tech there. The older woman with blondish reddish hair gives the WORST customer service ever. She would not even check with my insurance when an issue came up and I had to call them from right there in Target and get it taken care of myself. When they were out of a prescription I needed right away and I asked what I should do over the weekend until they got it in she actually made this nasty face and exaggeratedly shrugged her shoulders to indicate she absolutely didn't care. I asked her to call other CVS pharmacies in the area to see if any of them had it in stock and she said "You call," in a rude condescending voice. I did and the Atascadero CVS not only had it, they got it ready in 15 minutes and transferred all my prescriptions to them at my request. They are friendly and competent. read more

The pharmacy techs are incompetent! I was charged the wrong amount and when I inquired about my bill, found they had not added my insurance. It took an additional 20 mins for them to correct their mistake! The women, (dark hair and glasses) instead of apologizing for my inconvenience and attempting to provide any customer service, became defensive and blamed her coworker for the mistake. I was then directed to get back in line so that they could re ring me after they made the changes. The person next in line pointed out that they should finish helping me first, not send me to the back of the line (by this time I had been their over an hour waiting for a prescription that had been called in two hours prior and was ready when I got there). I thought it would be convenient to use targets pharmacy, but unfortunately was mistaken! Will find a different pharmacy in the future. read more

Twin Cities Emergency called in prescriptions at 12:15, called at 1:15 to see if ready, was told they didn't get anything called in, I told them what it was & then they found it, said it would be ready in an hour. Received text 15 minutes later to say it's ready. So yes it had been there all along. Hurried over to pick up, was told they couldn't release it until the Pharmacist got back from lunch in 20 minutes! Really? Waited for Pharmacist 30 minutes, thought he had to go over script, nope he just had to be there! I told them their policy is crap! Time to go somewhere else for sure! read more

Normally this cvs is quick but today I took an rx in and the guy asked if I needed it today I said yes. He said well we close in six minutes. After standing there for ten minutes in the drop off line that would have been nice to know my services weren't wanted. I work in a place where you don't leave till the job is done. So I went to the pharmacy he recommended and they said one hour wait time. It's now been an hour and a half and it's still not ready. I guess that's why I rarely use this pharmacy. read more

3 stars because I generally have a decent experience with the pharmacy and staff. One bad experience when I returned home and saw they'd only filled half my order. The 1 month prescription required 1 ampule 2x/day. Therefore, 2 ampules/day x 30 days = 60 ampules. Pretty simple math. They gave me 30 ampules. When I called to rectify my order the tech (a woman (not Janice)) was rude and said 30 ampules was what the prescription called for and that I was wrong. I told her 30 ampules 2x/day was 60. She again said I was wrong and that I should take it up with my doctor. When I protested and asked to speak to the pharmacist she started saying "What? What? I can't hear you. I can't hear you." She said this over and over. I suspected she was just trying to hang up on somebody she didn't want to deal with but couldn't be sure. I had already wasted 10 minutes with her and in frustration I cursed and hung up. 5 minutes later the pharmacist called me back and said they had made an error and that I could pickup the rest of my prescription anytime. At the end of the call he told me that I shouldn't curse at his technician the way I did......I asked him how she heard me curse since she was telling me she couldn't hear me. Then I told him that she should be reprimanded for acting rude and hanging up on customers. The bulb went off in his head when he saw that she had lied to him and that she was only pretending she couldn't hear me and was going to hang up on a customer. I don't know if he ever reprimanded her but since then I've not had a bad experience.....so ---- 3 stars. read more
