I've never had a problem. Sometimes the line is long and it takes a while, but they've always been helpful and friendly.

I must apologize for my last post about CVS on Niblick Rd. in Paso Robles. I stated that "I felt…read more like CVS might have lost their heart and I hope that they can find it again "! I think I felt like they were just not caring as much as they used to during the merger! My apologies! I am continuing to see so many people who are working as hard and as fast as they possibly can to get your prescriptions on time! If you don't believe me, trust your own eyes! Next time, instead of complaining about the long line, please take the time to watch and see how hard these professionals are working to get you your medications!

It is no longer an option to simply say "talk to a pharmacist" and get past the ongoing automated questions. Instead, I have to answer numerous questions every single time, only to be routed to voicemail. I went around and around with this process for two days straight. I even contacted corporate, which took more than 10 minutes just to reach a person. I was then transferred two more times, and each time I had to explain the entire situation all over again. And even then, they couldn't necessarily get me through to a person. When I finally reached someone regarding my medications, I was told I would have to call back and go through the entire automated process again just to arrange shipping. What should have been a simple request turned into a complete nightmare. The lack of direct access to a pharmacist and the endless phone maze have made the customer experience beyond frustrating and completely unacceptable. I rarely write negative reviews. However, since no one seems willing to hear the feedback or have any power to create change or help me get my issues handled, this seems like they only way to get through. The individual people who work there are generally kind and want to help, however they do not seem to have any power to sidestep this horrible system.

I was greeted by a very nice woman and pleasantly surprised by her genuine caring and friendly attitude toward me. She smiled a lot. She knew I'd never used the medication. It took an oral syringe to administer the meds. It was small and appeared to be tailored to cats. With tiny measurement markings. She marked with a piece of tape the place on the syringe to make it easier for me to withdraw the appropriate amount confidently. (I'm 70 and not nearly as confident performing new tasks) But her doing just a little extra by marking the syringe made a big difference in my confidence. The pharmacy inventory itself was totally unique! For the holidays there were charming and creative decorations that made me smile and will continue to spread joy during future seasons. There were unique gifts for your favorite Cowgirl and artistic holiday decorations. I highly recommend taking the time to go into the pharmacy. It will make you feel good experiencing their carefully curated gifts and decorations. I'm looking forward to returning for the refill and more closely looking at their unique and delightful items.

The prices for the over the counter items I bought were cheaper there than where I buy them in my hometown at big box pharmacy stores. The gift shop was packed full of fun and interesting items. Small town pharmacies are gems that shouldn't be overlooked. They take the time to help. it's too late to improve anything now, but the pharmacy appeared to work well enough in 2024 and…read moreearlier this year. Perhaps more clients transferred out to another making it less daunting for pharmacy staff to refill meds timely and avoid whatever it is that makes a technician decide they can keep your daily meds from you even though 28 days is not "refill too early" per law. Last month they appeared to lose my doctor's rx and said there were no refills which left when I see her every other month. Then they said she didn't include a diagnosis code. None of these meds are new for me. It was resolved, so I let it go. But not without a lot of contacting both parties and they have gotten me in trouble with my doctor before for a similar issue. Losing an rx is suspicious even though it's out of patients' hands. Because they were closing forever soon, I called a day early to make sure they had meds in stock and they blamed my rx processing difficulty on me calling "too early." No accountability on their end. This month, I called the day when my refill is due, for the same reason, was told "they're working on it" and they hung up on me. I then found one of my meds to be out of stock as I'm picking up. Why did they not pay closer attention over the phone or offer to just transfer the med to a new pharmacy since that's what needs to be done now anyway? Instead they had me forfeit my rx for a partial fill. When following up, they didn't even listen to my question, which was to see if they got more in stock before their closing date, and they said yes and made sure to let me know how the small amount of pills are "supposed to last" (I didn't say they didn't). 2 weeks later when I was supposed to be able to pick up the remaining, they told my husband a different story, that they "weren't sure if they would be able to fill it last week, sorry, but will work on it now." Not true, they told me they had it last week but would not dispense it. And it's outrageous we had to call back for them to process it. I hope I don't see any of these staff members ever again (except for two of the more helpful OG technicians from 2015) around at whichever pharmacy I end up (Too late). When I had the especially frustrating interaction of being punished because they ran out of stock and wouldn't transfer to get my full amount, I did complain in a survey but nothing ever came of it. Guess everyone is off the hook.

We stopped in to Walmart to pick up a lot of the basics. It was later in the evening and they were getting ready to close. The night crew had already started the re-stocking process. Even with that happening, there were a lot of gaps in the grocery aisles, especially in the refrigerator cases. We weren't able to get everything we needed, which meant another shopping trip the next day. It was just an okay experience overall. I did track down one of their employees to ask the location of several items that I hadn't been able to find, despite going back over the same aisles several time. The aisles didn't seem to be laid out with any particular logic. Checkout went reasonably well, so that was a plus. Somehow this particular location seemed sadder and less organized than others I've shopped at in the past. Possibly a "B" store.

There are a few "staples" that come from Walmart purely because of price. But I am happy to drive 5 minutes further for a better shopping experience. The store and parking lot is always busy, neither making for a positive shopping experience. It's getting ridiculous these days that so much product is now under lock and key, which means looking for a sales associate to help get you the product you need. Some aisles seem very narrow to move through when the store is busy, which makes a quick stop difficult. Lines for the registers, all of which are never open, are pretty long, which sends me to self checkout. Again, waiting in line because over half the self checkout machines aren't in use. Apple Pay isn't accepted either. Just too much I don't want to deal with here.
