Pharmacy will be the same at every WALGREENS & CVS stores. But not at Sam's Club Lubbock. Here's the good part: Place your hand over the keypad of the restroom and press 7 1 2 0 wait for the click and your in accessing the employees own restroom, customer restroom (big and clean), and the stinky break room. The place is inviting with inviting people who strive everyday and everytime they wake up and drive to this location. Now please avoid Scarsdale Blvd & Beamer Rd. Walgreens they love treating customers like rodents and pests. Luckily you are all Yelpers or Yelp potentials, Google folks did not even get the code. read more

I have been sitting here since 7:02 waiting an hour in the drive thru for them to open at 8:00. It's 8:15 and counting. They haven't opened the window, answered the pharmacy, nor the store phone. Apparently, they have no regards for the health and well beings of their customers. You are in the business of assisting a physician with the care of their patients. And this is the service you provide? I'm ill and need my medication. I'm reporting them to my insurance company and to their corporate office. I drove around and people, including kids are standing outside of the doors. I wouldn't recommend anyone to come here to buy aspirin. This is ridiculous. It's 8:20 and I'm leaving. I'm transferring my prescriptions to HEB! I just spoke to an employee. She said the manager is on the way to unlock the doors. At least she apologized. read more

I decide to go wait in my car but confirm my number is on the text alert, they confirm. After waiting for an hour I decide to go home because I'm just that much pain, mouth is bleeding because I'm sure my blood pressure is really pumping at this point. four hours later, I checked the app my prescriptions are ready, but got no text. I called and the same lady Susan tells me I need to add my credit card before I can have them delivered. at this point, I'm disgusted so I asked to speak to the pharmacist. Hider who tells me they can't be delivered because it's past 6 PM. UNACCEPTABLE and all he can say to me as her grade his employees are. read more

I am so glad when we moved and had a different CVS closer. They couldn't handle a simple refill request correctly. After sending a request for refills via their automated system and getting a message within half an hour that said "Your DR DID NOT APPROVE your refill request," I called the doctor to see what was going on. They never got the request. So I requested it again and called the doctor back as soon as I got the automated message again that they didn't refill it. Again they didn't receive it. After waiting on hold for 12 minutes, I got to talk with someone in the CVS pharmacy. He said it was sent over so I explained they never received it and something had to be off--which I emphasized was weird because this has been refilled before with no issue. Finally, after he had no explanation, I asked what number they were faxing. It wasn't even the right area code for the doctor's office. When I tried to give him the right number, he kept interrupting. Finally I got him to take down the right number. Then I asked why the system was telling me the doctor didn't approve it if they never received it. Apparently, their automated system tries to send the request three times. If it never goes through, he said it tells the customer they need to contact the doctor. I pointed out that the message had actually said the doctor didn't approve it which wasn't true and, again, this had never happened before. He had no explanation except that at some point they must have accidentally changed the fax number. No apology. Nothing to try to make the situation better except he would try to fax it over again. Then I had to remind him to change the fax number in the system. Our CVS on Magnolia and Old Alvin Road doesn't have this double so we'll be transferring the medication as soon as it's refilled. Why is the pharmacist rude? I called to confirm my Rx and before I could say that, the person on the phone cut me off to ask me questions. Okay...I obliged. I suggested that she could be a bit nicer and she hung up in my face. I guess I should've waited until I had my Rx, because after reading some of these reviews I feel like I will need to check my prescription to ensure I'm not slipped a pill that I'm allergic to. Today I ran into the store to grab a few things. The staff was friendly, however the parking lot at this location is always nasty. Maybe I'm overly concerned, but it's a bummer to have to walk past filth to shop. Upon checkout I asked to speak with the manager to inform them of the condition of the parking lot and she stated she was management. She honestly seemed the least bit interested in my concern. Arrived at 9:50 to pickup rhinocort, and I was knocking on the door cause it wouldn't open. Spoke to the team manager and she said they had to close cause they needed to be out of the building at 10:00pm. Waited five minutes for someone to answer the door. The store closes at 10:00pm. This experience was ridiculous. That's a terrible practice closing the store at 10:00pm but then saying employees have to be out of the building at ten. Needless to say, there was a truck there unloading stuff. Won't go back to that CVS. read more

Medications are not available even after receiving texts saying that they are ready for pickup. Also, transferring medication from another cvs because this one didn't have it? Good luck with that!! They are to coordinate that for you according to the other location I called that had the medication. Poor customer service and I'm glad I switched. I love this CVS! I've had several problems with the CVS near my home being out of the medication that I need. That CVS always has a long line of cars waiting in the drive through and when you go inside, the pharmacy people will ignore you. I've waited at the counter for several minutes before someone would decide to wait on me. That is not the case with this CVS. The pharmacy employees are always friendly and helpful here. I was out of town last weekend and needed to pick up some medication refills before the 31st. I called this pharmacy and asked them to contact my doctor for refills and explained my urgency. No only did they contact my doctor, but they also worked with my daughter (who picked up my order) to help ensure that the medication was paid for by my insurance. I wish I knew the name of the wonderful person who helped me, but all I know is her initials are AS. That was not the only time that the people at this pharmacy have helped me out. There have been a couple of other times when my local CVS let me down, so I've called this location and they've helped me out. I've come to rely on them a lot. I will continue to drive the extra 10 minutes to Pearland to use this location. read more

Whatever you do, do not use this CVS pharmacy for COVID-19 testing. The pharmacy website said 1-2 days for PCR/NAAT testing however it is day 5 and I am STILL waiting for results. When I called they said due to the surge, expect a 2-5 day turn around. We are almost 2 years in to this pandemic and the fact they cannot get results sooner is beyond me. I have gotten results sooner from other CVS Pharmacies during high surge times and earlier in the pandemic and the turnaround was nowhere near this long. Save yourself the stress and time especially if you are in need of a test for travel. Never come here for a test. If I could give this place a 0, I would. read more

This location is between my mother's house and mine so I stop in sometimes to pick up things. I like it WAY better than the Sienna location closer to my home since this one is newer. Most times items are stocked but the staffing seems to struggle as I've had to holler (yes...holler) for sometime to check me out. They have the cashier doing stocking and other things. Overall it's cool. It doesn't yet have that characteristic CVS moldy carpet smell so it's my go to on the way to mom's. read more

Unbelievable!! I received a text saying my Rx was ready. Got to store at 345 on a Friday. Few minutes in store. Another 45 minutes to get out of parking lot because of so many kids being picked from the school next door. Why dont you be real parents and go to the school and get your kid? I went to the doctor on March 20th and this CVS received my prescription the same day. Instead of them calling me to let me know, they don't have the medication. They didn't say anything. Mind you i went to the pharmacy in person to check on it and she said they didn't have the prescription on Thursday night the 21st. Friday afternoon i called, and the pharmacist asked me if i received a call letting me know my medication wasn't in stock. I told her no and i need my medication by Sunday to start for my surgery on April 4th. I will not be using this pharmacy again. It is super unprofessional. read more

Came to get it 4 hours after and it wasn't all ready, my eye drops were still being filled, waited for another 1hr for the remaining of my prescription and they told me they had ointment not eye drops and they were sorry for me waiting and for the confusion!!! I called here 6 times yesterday to get my prescription. The first 3 times there was a busy signal. A busy signal with today's technology???? Unacceptable!!! Hung up on twice....and both other times was on hold for 30 minutes each time. I eventually got discouraged and gave up. If you are a District Manager or General Manager reading this, from one business professional to another...I would recommend: 1. A new state of the art VOIP system with adequate telecom bandwidth into the facility. I would recommend at least 20 GB of fiber. 2. Take a look at your peak time trends from the last 2 years and staff accordingly. I would hope you have this data readily accessible from your POS systems. 3. Train staff and make them accountable. Someone did hang up on me....twice. I would also recommend installing a VOIP call recording solution for customer service improvement and as a training tool. The only reason I did not give only one star is because the staff are very friendly when I show up at the store. The nice ladies that work at the cashier and the floor always greet me and are helpful when I ask for something. They are doing a god job. read more

Wouldn't advise filling a Rx here, esp if you are really sick or in a hurry. My doctor called in my prescription, I stopped for groceries, then came to pick up my Rx -- and still had to wait 20 minutes. Was told that other people were ahead of me. Pharmacy is not that great. They have messed up my children's prescription several times. Once we received the ingredients to a medicine but it was not mixed. After taking it back, they mixed it but put the incorrect dosage instructions (liability issue anyone??)...Good thing I was actually listening to the doctor when he told me how much to give my child and when! Other times we have been charged for 3 prescriptions but only given 1. We are STILL waiting on a nebulizer which we have received calls saying was in but, once we arrived to pick it up, it was amazingly missing. My initial experience with this pharmacy has been very poor. Yesterday i called in to check and make sure 3 medications were ready to pick up. I was told that they were ready and i could come and get them. When i went to pick them up at the drive thru window, there were a couple of cars ahead of me. I waited my turn and when i pulled up to the window the blinds were closed and they had shut down because it was exactly 9 pm. I looked around so confused, because i couldnt figure why they would close the window when i had been waiting in line, it was literally 9:01. Pretty rude service if you ask me. I came back today and even though i had called ahead for 3 perscriptions, they only had 2 ready and asked me to come back in 20 minutes. I explained that i had called a day ahead but it made no difference. Based on My experience thus far i would say this pharmacy is unprofessional. read more

I had an awful experience at the CVS located at 12806 Broadway St, near Kingsley. The location at Kingsley was my preferred location since it is closest to my home, but when I tried to return an item, the employee of CVS would not allow me to return the item. She would just allow an exchange. I felt as though I was being accused of being dishonest. I went to this CVS location on Shadow Creek Parkway and the associate was very kind and allowed me to return the item without any questions. I will now make this my preferred location and now have my family's prescriptions sent to the Shadow Creek location. I told the associate of my experience at the other location and she was very apologetic. read more

Pharmacist says it would take at least 2 hr to fill them the Z pack. I requested for early since I am sick and traveling. Even ask them to take 1 hr but so rude and said sorry we can't do before 2 hrs. That was not a chronic medication. Worst CVS ever. Front store workers don't know store policy. I talked to Ike and Edgar, and both employees were completely clueless. I had originally come in to buy Tresemme shampoo and conditioner; however, buying those comes with two extrabucks rewards. I had come in the day before to buy the same thing with a coupon, but the coupon I wanted to use for $2.50 off didn't work because I didn't reach the $10 limit, so I refunded the items, and the employee working took away my 2 extrabucks. That was fine with me. However, I thought I had extra shampoo and conditioner at home, and when I realized I didn't, I decided to come in again to buy the shampoo and conditioner because I really needed it. However, for some reason the extrabucks didn't print out for me this time. I asked them to print out the 2 extrabucks for me, and they refused even though the offer said I should've received them. The employee then told me I was "playing" them and to stop lying, even though I NEVER received the 2 extrabucks originally. If they had simply gone through their records, they would've seen that I had originally refunded my first purchase of Tresemme. EXTREMELY RUDE, especially considering I was not lying and just trying to receive the offer CVS said they had. Do not come here. Ike and Edgar, especially, should be fired.
