My neighborhood CVS. I've never had any major problems with them. Great customer service and its easy to get in and out. Also, I loved their Christmas decorations last year. They had black Santas throughout the store. Very inclusive, very nicely decorated. The pharmacy is 24 hours which is most helpful. Bringing my wife to get some medications after an Urgent Care visit and the (female African?) pharmacist is the most rude and unprofessional person we've ever had to deal with. She said something over the intercom and we had no idea what she said, so my wife walked over to see if she was calling her. RIDE pharmacist said, "IT'S NOT READY; I'm calling the manager...not you!" My wife replied, "Sorry, I didn't hear what you raise so wanted to make sure." Her RIDE reply, "I told you that it isn't ready yet. I said 20 minutes!" While it's true this CVS doesn't particularly score well for customer service, it is one of the only true 24 hour pharmacies in all of the Houston area. In a time as fragile as the pandemic, places like this are incredibly important. This means never having to worry about missing any window for medication pickups, dealing with lines during rush hour, or even going inside. (#1) It's not exactly a small time pharmacy either as they have multiple folks working behind the counter at all hours. I know there have been snafus with folks in the past, but I've been fortunate to not have to deal with this so far. I've called in previously and gotten a little 'tude on the phone, but that's really been about it. I've been here as late as 2AM for random purchases and I've seen no lines. As much as I would like to switch my prescriptions to a CVS closer to me, I love that this location is 24 hours. They have gotten a little bit better with faster service, but I would say it could still be better. This store is much nicer now that it is a health hub. I like that they have the self checkout option and I of course love using my coupons that I get each time I go. The app also has coupons on it (some are the same as the printed ones on the receipt and some are not) so that is nice. The staff is pretty friendly for the most part. I try to give them more grace since the pharmacists are having to do vaccines and dispense medication. I know it can't be easy trying to juggle all of that. As long as this location remains 24 hours, I will continue to get my medications here. read more

Came over here to pick up some supplements from a supplier down the street I'm a customer of CVS and have been for years and am very aware of laws and regulations, I picked up a fat loss peptide that which is completely legal to buy whether it be from a doctor or a supplement store. I stopped here to get bacteriostatic water and a supply of insulin needles. Which is also completely legal to do without a prescription or anything, and they first try to lie to me and tell me they didn't have that water when I knew they did and then they tried to lie to me and tell me they also didn't have those needles when they definitely did And then they tried to tell me oh well we can't sell those to you without a insulin prescription, which is complete nonsense and a complete lie. Since I've been buying stuff from them for years, including insulin needles and syringes, etc., that I might need I knew better. So if they're willing to go to that extent to lie and refuse a customer and tell a customer wrong information what other things were they wrongfully tell their customers about so how can they be trusted? Do not recommend this branch at all avoid and go to a different one. read more

The Pharmacy Manager Monica was an absolute nightmare to deal with when I had a complication with my presciption. She was rude, inattentive, and treated me, as well as my insurance and fertility clinic as if we were an issue. She should not hold a position working with the public; much less with a managerial position. I will never use CVS pharmacy again. read more

Had one of the most wonderful experiences I have ever had at a pharmacy, especially when sick and waiting for medicine. The whole staff was nice, but Ariana was amazing and super friendly . I needed to wait for my medicine for a bit, like less than 10 minutes, and during that time I saw how helpful, efficient and friendly the whole staff was. It was actually really busy. In the little time I was there they help a lot of people and their energy with the customers and each other was so nice. Will definitely come back. It's actually one of the few times I have enjoyed waiting for medicine. read more

For the last couple years, this CVS has declined in customer service in the pharmacy. They do not have medications, don't offer help or suggestions plus the APP is difficult to use. The only medication I receive texts asking if I want to fill is a medication I no longer use. I am moving to Walgreens. read more

If I can give this pharmacy a zero star rating I would it's that bad! every single time I come here I always get bad customer service it's awful and it happened so many times that I've had it. Today was the last straw and the only reason why I even bother going here is because it's the only closest 24 hour pharmacy that is available if I can find another 24 hour pharmacy that is close to my house I would go there! So it's so bad here that I have to come on here to give them a bad review! I had to use this one because I went to urgent care for an urgent matter and the dr. Had to call in my prescription and it was late and this was the only pharmacy that they can call it to And it's just like every time when I need a prescription that is urgent like an antibiotic they should have it done already but no they always wait until you come in then they're like oh it's not ready yet. Give us 20 minutes or 30 minutes like come on now I used to work in a pharmacy so I know how things go. They're just lazy you're supposed to have antibiotic prescription ready When the customer come it's ready for pick up and there was a billing issue with insurance and they wouldn't call the other CVS pharmacy to back out my previous prescription that was billed there when I want it to be filled here because the other pharmacy is closed and this is the only one that's open 24 hours but they're like no you have to call! and the way they say it is so rude too. they don't even apologize they're just like no you need to call and they don't even thank you for being a customer. Customer service is horrible! I've unfortunately filled prescriptions here twice due to them being 24hours and both times have experience terrible service. They have been out of the meds I need both times and was told it would be 5 days out. They also do not accept tricare, way to support your military members. I really wish I read the reviews before choosing to refill my prescription with this location. Apparently, the pharmacist I spoke with initially on the phone had taken my personal information incorrectly. When I stopped by 2 hours later to pick up my medication, my order wasn't ready. The assistant working at the counter and the pharmacist who I spoke with over the phone started having a minor argument in front of all of the customers to figure out what had happened. Later the pharmacist retook my information and told me to stop by in 5 minutes. Thankfully the second time around it was quick but when I took a look at my meds, they weren't the usual stuff I take but a similar medication. I didn't receive any notification that they were changing my meds until I decided to open up the bag and double checked they gave me the right medication. Please save yourself the hassle and time, and find a different CVS location to fill your prescription. read more

The MINUTE clinic is more like an HOUR clinic. I saved a spot online and it said the waiting time was 54 minutes. I got there about 20 minutes later and signed in and it STILL said the wait time was 54 minutes. What's the point of reserving a spot then?? I waited and waited and waited. I ended up having to leave because I had another appointment to go to. What a waste of time. And all I needed was a measly vaccine. Worst experience ever with the Minute clinic staff. I've gone to this location several times due to its convenience but the women who work in this clinic are ALWAYS rude. They make you wait for 30 minutes even though there's no one ahead of you and then go on to make smart comments the entire time you're being checked it's ridiculous. I am a health care provider and attempted to call in multiple prescriptions for a patient and experienced the worst customer service I have ever experienced from a pharmacy. I needed to speak to the pharmacist. I was placed on hold repeatedly and told that the pharmacist would assist me. I was on hold for extensive periods of time both times - the second time for more than 10 minutes - and both times the call was ultimately dropped. This is not the first time I have experienced horrible service from a CVS. I strongly advise patients to use other pharmacies if possible. I would rate less than one star if possible. read more

I will not use the curb side pick up for this location ever again. I ordered about 4 items from the app for curbside pick up. said it would be ready in an hour. So an hour later I am sitting in the parking lot waiting. There is no designated area for parking for curbside orders. while waiting i received a text message that my order was taking longer than expected. This was a terrible experience for my 85 yr old parents. My father had fallen and is on blood thinners so they called for an appt. They gave all the info and insurance/ social security etc. They went into their appointment and saw his name on cbs board- so they knew they were at the right location. No one else was in the waiting room. Staff told them they couldn't see them without a confirmation number of their appointment. My parents told them that was his name on their board and they have all of their paperwork and insurance cards with them. The lady refused to help them and told them to go to another clinic. Went to the Minute Clinic and the NP was extremely rude and unprofessional. She did not even look at me when I walked in and then lectured me instead of examining me. After she finally examined me and determined that I was in fact sick, she wrote a scrip and I asked to have it filled at the Walgreens down the road because I did not want to wait there any longer. When I finally got the prescription, I realized that it was only written for half of what she had told me in the appointment. I called Walgreens and they immediately said that they would call her and rectify the situation for me, but that they could do nothing until they called her and had her fix the scrip. Never EVER buy chocolate from here. Over the past few months I've picked chocolate up from this CVS since I work nearby, and every single time the chocolate is melted to some degree. Yesterday I got some Lindt Lindor chocolate and it had been melted and reconstituted at least three times since the inside of the chocolate was separated and grainy. I ate only a few but got very sick with nausea. It ruined my evening. On top of that, the woman who checked me out did not give me a receipt so I'm unable to return this rotten 5$ chocolate. I just moved here and started using this CVS for all of my meds (which are many) because it is right sown the street form my house. I have probably refilled 10 Rx's in the last 6 months and EVERY time I have had a problem. Most of the time I will get an email saying my Rx is ready and then when i show up and wait in line only to find out my Rx is not ready. This happens all of the time! One time i needed a Rx filled right away around 11 pm for my daughter. Instead of helping me out they told me it would not be ready for an hour and they would text me when it was ready. I went home, waited an hour, never received a text. The next morning I received a text it was ready and when I went to get it they did not have it ready. It is really a comedy of inefficiency. Recently they refilled my Rx but filled it under a doctor at their minute clinic instead of my shrink This got me into hot water because my shrink accused me of going to another doc for my meds. Seriously?! Just yesterday I went to get an Rx and when I finally got to the drive through window the woman said she did not have any insurance info for me. I had to give her my insurance info and drive back around in line so she could re-enter the order and bill my insurance. Does not sound like a big deal but my time is valuable and it should not take 45 minutes for me to pick up an Rx To top it all off the staff are all extremely rude and project an "uncaring" attitude. Attitude comes from the top down. Management either tolerates, or encourages this behavior. I am done and will drive much further to Walgreens. On a positive note their minute clinic is very good. I've used this clinic several times for myself and for my kiddos and have not had any problems. There are issues with the "save your spot in line" that are out of the control of the physician on call... it is a corporate technical issue.
