This is my pharmacy for my prescriptions. The service is overall decent. It's mainly where I pickup my medicine, I normally do not shop at CVS because they are high as Hades. I unfortunately yesterday had to pickup antibiotics, needed to grab cold medicine, and OJ, what I paid minus the prescription was highways robbery. I'm thinking are these folks for real. But if you are wanting convenience and limited on time they are making their money off you. read more

When I came here, it was because my home CVS was almost closed and told me I could transfer the medication here. It stays open until midnight. For me there is no inconvenience in the availability of this store. I'm glad it is open. I don't have a problem with what I'm going to call "diversity of humanity " which some other people may not be used to the area. Sometimes people are disturbed or angered or afraid of things related to diversity. If this is you, yeah don't clog up the lines. Without this CVS I could theoretically have had to wait like 12 hours until my local CVS opened again and be in a lot of pain. Almost 2 years later, I must say the drive through has improved some. Good luck getting anybody to answer the phone still. 10:30 on a Sunday night, and I get put hold on. 32 seconds into the call, someone picks up and says "CVS, please hold". Not once in at 36 minutes will somebody pick up the phone to give me an idea of how much longer I have to wait. I pick up the phone again, and exactly 32 seconds later, the same thing happens again. Once again, I understand, sometimes CVS is going to be short-staffed. An ETA on how much time I need to sit with my phone, ready to pick up the phone at a moment's notice, is not unreasonable. I appreciate that this is one of only two locations in Phoenix that stays open 24 hours anymore. There's a 24-hour Walgreens on the east side and a 24-hour CVS on the west side. But you can't staff a 24-hour location the same amount of people as you would a regular location. If there was another option that opened up, I would drop CVS like a hot potato. read more

Went to exchange diapers I had bought within an hour from when I bought them and when I got home I later noticed they were pull ups. I meant to get the luvs diapers went to the store and the lady there at night was really rude . I'm not stealing , I had bought toilet paper and the diapers I just went to exchange the diapers and they didn't want too they didn't give me receipt but I did buy at this location at exactly 8:30 pm I went to exchange at 9:45 pm I asked nicely to just exchange because I needed diapers for my kiddos not pull ups and the lady was being rude anyways talking in a bad way. They kept saying their system was down I had gone earlier too to pay rent and their system was down it's always down supposively she couldn't pull down my transaction from that time , LAZY ASS WORKERS .Never coming to this cvs again!!! read more

This location has gone severely downhill over time. I would have moved my prescriptions long ago but my procrastination has had the best of me up until today. I drove by this afternoon around 2:30PM and the parking lot looks like it was hit by a hurricane and the building appears to be falling apart. The Pharm-Drive Up looked to be abandoned and had a badly handwritten sign stuck to the window, read CLOSED, come inside. I drove around front, parked and made my way up to the entrance greeted by the stench of sun baked piss. I had to leap over a stream of spilled soda or beer or maybe both to get to the entrance. It was literally a 5 second turnaround as I noticed the pharma-line stretched from the back wall half way across the store into the main walkway. NOPE THAT's it I'm done. The Property is a mess, there is a safety issue and regular services are not available. ZERO stars! read more

Had a quick run in and out at this location. Like other CVS stores this location was well organized and in the same structure making it easy to locate the items I needed. I went during lunch time and there was minimal waiting and the cashier was extremely friendly. I did not have my CVS discount card which was no problem the cashier rang in my number and I was still able to obtain some great savings. I will stop in again. read more

This is the worst CVS I have ever been to. I have used CVS for as long as I can remember, and this one is horrible. Recently, they did away with shopping baskets. Now you have to use a shopping cart with an ugly wooden pole attached to it, that prevents you from leaving the store with it. You could easily tilt the shopping cart to lower the pole and take it out of the store. This is akin to using a cheap ladder to climb over Trump's wall. And they have a full selection of pasta items, but guess what? They removed Parmesan cheese! Who the hell does something like that? Their frozen section is also almost barren. It is a shell of a CVS store. The CVS home office should visit this store and see for themselves. Also, the cost of some of their items is absurdly high. I hate this store. read more

I try and rate things based on what I believe they SHOULD be for their genre of establishment. This CVS isn't dirty, and the staff isn't rude, but there's just something about this place that feels a bit.....ghetto. I always try to be in an out of here quick (though that never seems to be the case). I give this place three stars because #1 they're slow as hell, and #2 I'm just not feeling the vibe. If you need to run into a pharmacy quick to grab some toothpaste, this place is fine. But lets be real, if there was a Walgreens one block down I would be going there for my Rxs. "Unhappy Workers Leaves Dissatisfied Customers" It is a big store that is open 24 hours in a part of town that has been known to be on the 10 o'clock news from time to time. However, there is something going on in management that makes you feel like everyone is unhappy or unwilling to help. It took me while to get some one to help me out to get a passport photo and they would not honor the online discount that I had written down the code on a piece of paper. Other customers were waiting and even the workers were complaining in public that they are over worked. Scary. If you are here, make sure you don't need any help or discount getting it. The level of customer care is not only portrayed but felt. I keep odd hours bc I work at night and have school all day. My time frame window of shopping at this location, is Midnight to 4 am. The overnight staff are their best kept secret. Always kind, courteous, and willing to help you find what your looking for without judgement, or attitude. I always leave there feeling like the staff genuinely cares for the patrons. That is important to me. It is especially nice because I live five minutes walking distance. HORRIBLE. I've been here for a few months and they have totally messed up my prescriptions more than once. Today they gave me my antibiotics and only gave me7!!! I'm supposed to have 20. How do you get 7 from that. I chose this because it's close to my campus. Today there was also a man drugged up in the store that was harassing me and wouldn't leave me alone. I told him to go away and he wouldn't and employees wouldn't do anything and just stared. They only kicked him out when he tipped something over. I come here for film developing, so I really hope they don't discontinue that, although they have threatened to in the past. Debbie is the gal that does my photos and she does an excellent job every time. She scans every single frame, even the bad ones (I want the bad ones too) and she makes it easy and affordable for me to get the quality service I need. I hope if she ever had the opportunity that she would become pro at this. If CVS makes the mistake of discontinuing this service, I'd have no other reason to come here. Oh, I should also add, Sabrina is a really friendly cashier. I used to buy cigarettes here before I quit and she was always good conversation. Like, extraordinarily good. This CVS makes me have to fight with them every month to get my medicine on time. There are a few people working here who are extremely nice but they are in the minority. One pharmacist in particular is extremely nasty to me every month I come in, he's patronizing, and always leaves me feeling terrible for bothering him. If I could give this CVS 0 stars I would. I have not had one good experience since I switched my families RXs here 2 years ago. They are always out of my son's seizure medication when I refill it (every 90 days). Most recently, I stopped in quickly to buy my son some Acetaminophen. While waiting in line, another customer entered the line the wrong way. He was blaring his music with a blue tooth speaker and standing closer than necessary. I asked him to step back and turn his music down, which made him mad. The cashier called the manager over. He was no help... literally. He asked the man to step back. The man suggest I move forward (towards other customers) rather than him step back (there was no one in line behind the man) blaring his music the entire time. The man threatened me and my family more than once. He made some veiled threat about catching me in the parking lot. The manager did nothing. I called the store after I left to get the manager's bosses name. That manager got on the phone and told me to "get it from corporate." The store is ghetto. The management is worthless. This store obviously does not care about customer safety or satisfaction. I never step foot in this CVS again. read more

This review is mostly for my pharmacy experience not the retail store. So I will start by saying the gentleman cashiers watching me hobble in in crutches and a hospital bracelet at 5am were funny, pleasant, and thoughtful considering the circumstances! But hey it's a CVS so pharmacy is the main contender here. And I've had lovely experiences elsewhere where I've been treated with proper urgency and respect. So I haven't filled at this location before but it's the closest 24 hour store. I originally tried to drive through at 11pm with a prescription from my late urgent care trip, my painful injury was worsening quickly and I NEEDED it. I hand it over and the overnight pharmacist says "ha. good luck finding this." "Why, what is it?" "Pain medication." "Well yes. what's wrong, what do I do?" "Other pharmacies probably won't have it." "Ok.......should I call around for it? What's wrong with it?" "No pharmacies open, better in the day when they're open." Ok, So thanks for nothing, I drove away in tears and I had to google to find out that the provider wrote me a prescription for a dosage that was totally discontinued. So injury was aggravated and got worse and worse and worse so long irrelevant story short I was in the ER all night getting proper care and had a different CORRECT prescription written for me. So I dropped off at same CVS and he ended up grilling me with irrelevant questions I've NEVER been asked before, which I can only chalk up to him thinking I am a drug addict or faking an identity. The exhausted, sick, newly casted, begrudgingly on crutches me was pissed and asked why he was asking questions and how it was relevant to which I got no reply. So, thank you sketchy neighborhood for making any normal person in pain look like they have an addiction problem and making this gentleman pharmacist make my night even more hellish! And sorry I have tattoos and feel terribly discriminated against as well. Never again. read more

Okay, so I took my baby to Good Night Pediatrics recently and so this was the closest 24hr pharmacy that took my insurance...so yeah. I haven't actually ever been in this store, So I really can't review on that. BUT, I have gone through the drive thru for the pharmacy...at first I was going to give this CVS a two stars, BECAUSE the first associate and pharmacist that helped me, I wasn't really impressed and when I first picked up my prescriptions, the pharmacist usually needs to review the rx's with you, but the chick just handed me the bag, said,"have any questions?"..LOL...but I did a tard move recently....I administered my baby her first dose, had my 6 yr old close the bottle and place in the refrigerator... then 12 hrs later went to give my baby another dose...DIDN'T check the cap...shook the bottle, THEN got that awesome pink, bubble gum scented amoxicillin all over myself, my baby, the carpet, and couch....AWESOME! I know :) HA! So, I just called over to the pharmacy this morning and the pharmacist was like, "it happens all the time". I just thought, "Really? Cause its first tard move for me" ...lol. Don't know if she was just being nice...anywho she called and checked if my insurance would waive the cost for the rx since it had no refills and yada, yada, yada...hehe...long story, short...I cleaned up the 10 days worth of amox off my carpets, couch, bathed my baby, and got a new rx...I'm happy! read more

The pharmacy staff at this location is so rude it's not even humorous! Except Sabrina, who was their only saving grace, this staff is so RUDE!! There was ALWAYS an issue with getting my meds on time and they could care less when issues arose such as the medication being made out wrong or meds being ready in a reasonable amount of time, to name a couple. I thought they were open 24 hrs so you could get medicine in the middle of the night if you needed it? I was tired of ALL these issues so I switched to the CVS pharmacy on 7th St & Bethany Home Rd after too many incidents with this staff! So far, so good!! read more

I was refused access to the bathroom by the security guard, stating that the restroom closes at 10pm. I had a little accident on the way home. I should have just discreetly peed on the CVS floor as I had no reasonable alternative. I won't shop here again even though this is the most convenient drug store location for me. Very poor pharmacy service, was advised 4 minutes, turned into 52! Stay away total circus

This place is a joke . If you need your medication to save your life DO NOT COME HERE. You will never have an in and out experience. On several occasions I go to pick know up my prescription 4 hours later the clerk told me that they did not have the medication in stock. That would have been nice to know 4 hours earlier considering I had a 5 year old little girl with asthma who needed her medication to breath. I just went there the other day and they tried doing it to me again. I went to drop off a prescription through the drive through and the guy checked me in and said " it's going to be about a 4 hour wait is that okay "? I then asked him if he checked to see if they had the medication in stock which he said no then excused him self for a minute to check. When he came back he said that they DID NOT Have it in stock. In which I asked , so why should I come back in 4 hours ? At any other pharmacy like Walgreens and frys they always check if they have the medication in stock before giving you a wait time and if they do not have it in stock they always give you options like waiting for a different date to fill or telling you which one of their other pharmacies do have the medication. So unless you want to add stress to your sickness DO NOT GO HERE. read more

I have filled a number of scripts here over the years. The Pharmacy staff has always been friendly and provided good quality service. My prescriptions have always been ready on time if not early and I have always found the pharmacist or the text to be very helpful and willing to answer any questions I've had. My reason for giving this location only three stars is not so much a reflection on the pharmacy Service as it is the store itself. The last several times I have been into the store I have witnessed firsthand people coming in through the front door casually walking around the store and picking up whatever items they felt they might want to have and then simply walking right out the door without paying with them. I totally get it that employees are instructed not to chase after shoplifters. However , this store , I have a feeling will not remain in business if it does not hire some full-time round-the-clock security in order to curb the theft. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. This review is for the drive-thru and the rude staff who work the window. During my lunch hour today 11am-12pm, decided to drive thru and get my meds. This drive-thru seems to be a joke every time I use it. Today was the worst. Pulled up, the usual automated voice greeting comes on, then a young man's voice inside the pharmacy says, "someone will be right with you." And then I wait.....and wait...and wait...finally 11 minutes later, I push the service button. Some young Latina opens the window and acts like I just pulled up. I ask what the problem is. Why have I been sitting here for over 10 minutes? I get a blank stare and "I guess the buzzer didn't go off." I advise her otherwise and that I was acknowledged by a guy who never came. She says, "well I'm here now, what do you need?" No apology for the ridiculous wait....nothing. Just Latina attitude. I guess my buzzing for her interrupted her FACEBOOK time. I'm not bothering with the store manager, because I feel like if this person cared about this store that little witch wouldn't be working there and customers wouldn't have to wait inordinate amounts of time. I'm taking this to corporate and then I'm transferring all my scripts to Walgreens. Between my family and I we get a lot of meds filled here and that's a lot of money CVS will be losing, all due to horrible customer service. The extra 5 minutes in traffic to hit Walgreens will be worth it. read more

I should have read the reviews here before I went here. I ended up with a painful episode of gout and stopped at this location. I waited over 30 minutes while the 2 cars in front of me handed their prescription to the window and waited to have it filled. Ok I'm multitasking fine. When I finally get to the window, I explain I am new to the pharmacy, and CANNOT walk, in a tremendous amount of pain and ask what she can do to escalate. Her reply was CVS only gives priority to people who park, and come in to the facility, that level of pain or inability to walk is irrelevant to CVS. I ask her if she can explain to the pharmacist that I cannot walk, live by myself, and that once I get out of the shoe I'm in (similar to binding - the swelling is so bad) that I won't be able to put pressure on my foot to drive and again ask, can you just ask and let me pull over and wait -- telling her that she seemed to fill prescriptions for cars she allowed to wait. She again said, walk in side or you can wait 1.5 hours. I then called and talked to Stockton, who was posing as a manager. I explained to him that I had done business inside his store and had the best experience and wanted to share this one. We went back and forth and I told him about myself so that he would know I have some sense of community and education and was not prone to making things up and he said I could care less about your education, and I said then my choice is to use my craft as a social media marketer and make this experience famous. He then called me childish for saying I was going to use social media -- I guess he doesn't see CVS' pages or that customers like me sometimes only have social media as their choice when all other efforts fail. I called corporate central to tell them about Stockton attacking me on a personal level rather than addressing the issue of a basic failure of customer service and kindness that was extended to two other pharmacy folks who I waited patiently behind while they had their prescriptions filled and waited for them at the window. I watched both drivers and the only difference I could see was I was much older and of a much different demographic. The manager Stockton slammed the phone down on me with no resolution. This is for you Stockton. Hopefully your leadership team will help you understand the difference between personal attacks on a customer, and a professional conversation, or assist you in finding another better profession which allows personal attacks on customers. read more
