    CVS is pricey! If you know how to maximize your saving here you can get a bang for your buck. As you can see they offer several instore coupons and extra bucks with purchases. I went in today to get my free nail polish for my birthday present for being a beauty club member. The cashier was extremely nice the store was bright and clean. I recommend this location.

    Today I was speaking to my mum about her day and she brought up a situation that I felt the need to get involved in because well it's my mum. Today she visited the pharmacy to pick up a prescription, she was picking it up on the days they said it would be ready as it is on automatic refill status. The pharmacist there, Leanne. Would not give my mother her last name which is fine because I'm thinking there is one pharmacist there that is 24 years of age, long hair and is named Leanne. Well as a pharmacist the first word that comes to mind is a PROFESSIONAL. However Leanne proved that even a utter rude failure like her can get into positions and abuse people in the community. Leanne finds it appropriate to write in big red letters directly on top of individuals prescriptions. I figured there would be. I am not sure a computer to put such warning and notes in? I guess I am not correct because Leanne finds it funny and uses MEME vocabulary such as "red flag" to try and insinuate that my mum is abusing her medications for picking it up on the days they have it set up for the auto refill. It's saddening Leanne couldn't just have pulled her into a proper conversation about her concerns and instead went about this situation like a 16 year old spreading gossip. When questioned about the manager she acted smug and justified and told my mum to leave the store. Disgraceful conduct. Leanne, I would like to know. How many others in the community of Ahwatukee are you abusing?

When stress begins to overwhelm and wear down even the most positive of people, it's great to have a stranger perform even a small act of kindness. I was helped out by an employee named Sydney when my doctor had sent over a prescription they didn't have in stock. I've been using this same Walgreens for about 4 years, this has never happened. Sydney went above & beyond to contact other pharmacies to see who had it available, then called my doctor to transfer it. Sydney then called me back, leaving a voicemail of my options and nearest location to pick up from. In trying times like this, while short-staffed, and probably over-worked.. She proactively made sure I was taken care of. I can't thank you enough Sydney! The rest of the staff has always been personable, accommodating, patient over the years & I thank you all for that!     I've been going to this location for probably 15 years and in the last year or so the service has…read moregone down hill so much. Specifically the pharmacy staff has been rude, unhelpful, inconsistent and inaccurate with providing info on when prescriptions are ready. I've always submitted a request a few days early so it's a smooth refill for me, but they let requests sit there for days, and the last 2 months alone I've called to get an update and that's when they've given inaccurate ready times, so I'm left chasing down a person to talk to again when all I want to do is plan my errands accordingly. This evening Sarah was probably the rudest I've spoken to, trying to rush me off the phone with a mumbled "we'll do it tomorrow". I asked if there's a timeframe I should follow (I often submit early to again keep it easy for myself, and also plan ahead for traveling), and I got another rude and defensive remark that landed with "fine I'll have it by 7p" -- sooo, this arbitrary wait time was not necessary!? I know they may be busy, and also have requirements to only refill certain meds after a certain time frame, but the lack of customer service and communication has fallen off completely! At the very least, make the communication in the app clearer as to why there's a delay for 3+ days.

When I kindly asked her how I use it/ tap it on the pay tablet she very rudely told me just give it to me. I guess if I get fired I get fired. I got the feeling she felt like I was fraudulently attempting to pay for my items . Like first off, that's not customer service and second I paid for this gift card before hand with my hard earned money . So just be aware if you're trying to use an electronic gift card, I very much suggest to take it somewhere else. There was absolutely no need for the attitude and frustration on her end.

Full grocery selection, decent produce, a solid meat and seafood counter, bakery, deli, even some household goods mixed in. It's the kind of place where you can walk in for a few things and realistically walk out having checked off your entire list. The layout mostly makes sense. Aisles are wide enough, signage is clear, and after a couple visits you don't really have to think about where things are. It's not one of those stores where you feel like you're navigating a maze every time you go in. Quality is generally good. Produce is fresh more often than not, and the selection is broad enough that you're not settling. Same goes for the rest of the store. Nothing feels neglected or picked over unless you hit it at a bad time. Staff has always been helpful when needed, but not hovering. Quick interactions, point you in the right direction, keep things moving. Checkout lines can vary depending on the time of day, but that's pretty standard anywhere. It's not a perfect store. You'll hit the occasional crowded evening or a product that's out of stock. But those are small things in the bigger picture. What matters is this. It's close, it's dependable, and it does what you need it to do without turning a simple grocery run into a chore. Four stars, and it earns them through consistency.

I called CVS to let them know I had a manufacturer coupon code I was told by Evan the pharmacy tech he could not take that code. He had to order the medication first that is incorrect. You do not need to order the med to get a price. He refused to take my manufacturer coupon code and then placed me on a punishment hold for one hour and three minutes yesterday, January 17 at about 3 PM. never came back to the phone to check. I called the front end of the store to have someone walk back there and find out what the problem was. Evan proceeded to tell me he was busy because there were cars in the drive-through and people in the store I let him know this was his job, and I am a customer waiting on the phone for my turn in line, disrespectful, rude and ignorant. I will never go there again and will file a formal complaint with CVS corporate and my Blue Cross insurance to let them know about how the companies their contracted with do business.

One of the vet techs called in a compounded prescription to Medmetrics Pharmacy for me and failed to ask how long it would take to fill. During ER discharge, she told me to start him on the medicine same day and the pharmacy would call to let me know when I could pickup. On my 30 min drive home from the ER, Medmetrics called me to get info to setup our acct with them and then stated it would be about 3 days to get filled. Our puppy is really sick and we are just trying to get him enough nutrition and fluids to get him to his Tuesday am appt with an Internal Medicine doctor and the medicine was needed same day (had not been able to keep much food down for 3 days in a row and very weak). Once home, I rushed to get our puppy comfortable so I could call the ER to get other options. I had limited time as my two adult French Bulldogs were in for pre-scheduled dental/extraction surgery and I would need to be able to pick them up late afternoon and monitor them once home. I contacted the ER and was told the vet tech would get back with me in a couple of minutes. Over 30 mins later with no return call, I contacted the ER again. They told me the one vet tech who could handle this was now with back to back discharges and should be able to call me back within an hour or two. I told them I did not have that time and the vet tech had failed to get fill timeline when she called in the script. They told me they would see what they could do. I picked up the phone and called your location to see if you might be able to fill today. Abby got on the phone and said it looked like you should be able to do at least a partial fill. She offered to contact Medmetrics and request a fill transfer. In the meantime, around 3pm I messaged the ER vet tech asking them to contact you about the scrip. She contacted me back shortly after saying she had called all around and the closest pharmacy was in North Scottsdale to get filled (completely missed my note and call to contact you). After asking her to contact you again, she did. Your team was already working on it after Abby contacted Medmetrics. The scrip was filled by your team by 4:30 and my husband was able to run over and pick up while I monitored the puppy He arrived back home to stay with the puppy just as I needed to leave to pick up our other two from their surgeries. Your team went well above and beyond to accommodate us yesterday. I've been a longtime customer and been happy with your services. I just wanted to say again I so appreciate your team and accommodating us yesterday.
