The staff here have always been professional, friendly, accurate, efficient with call backs, and show empathy. I appreciate this pharmacy more than they know. read more

A cheery pharmacy staff yet they push to app and 1.800 number vs. assisting with anything other than picking up. Order fulfillment is average, customer assistance, problem solving, critical thinking experience has been poor since location consolidations early 2025. read more

This is the closest pharmacy to me. I have to give props to the pharm techs here for always be so kind, smiling, and helpful. This pharmacy is very busy so I know they work hard and do a lot but somehow they are always super quick and kind when I need to pick up a rx. I wish it wasn't such a busy pharmacy but they do a great job. read more

Stay away. I wasn't aware that practicing medicine now was conducted using a pamphlet. The NP or PA on duty told me I did not meet the CDC pamphlet requirements for being sick, then showed me the pamphlet. But then mentions, if I would have done a virtual visit, she would have prescribed me antibiotics. What? Yet she wanted me to take a flu shot. Again, I AM SICK as a dog. And with no appointments at my PCP for 3 weeks, I tried this CVS. Never again. Practicing medicine based on a pamphlet is how this country ended up in an opioid problem. I guess anyone can practice medicine now, it's all in a handbook or pamphlet in this case. read more

CVS is pricey! If you know how to maximize your saving here you can get a bang for your buck. As you can see they offer several instore coupons and extra bucks with purchases. I went in today to get my free nail polish for my birthday present for being a beauty club member. The cashier was extremely nice the store was bright and clean. I recommend this location. read more

This review is more about the CVS Pharmacy electronic phone system and less about a specific store. PLEASE, companies, assess your phone systems from a user's perspective. I have been trying to get information from 2 CVS Pharmacies and each time, had to wait through "press 2" over and over again. Each time, the electronic voice had yet another menu for me to choose from and at this this particular pharmacy, the system took me in a circle, right back where I started! My question was a simple yes or no. I could never get to a live person to respond. Very disappointing for a prospective customer. read more

One star because they had a bathroom. The woman that helped enter the restroom was not happy about letting a 60 plus woman enter the bathroom. I was purchasing items, I didn't just wander in off the street. I'm from out of town and if this is how people act in this area... well, I'm sorry for people in this city. read more

We've gone to this pharmacy for several years. The drive thru window assistants are professional & give good customer service. The young ladies who answer the phone are completely ill equipped & rude. They apparently are not trained in customer service or are just flat out miserable individuals. No one seems to have a clear concept of what their wishy washy policies are. The pharmacist should be completely ashamed of the staff they have. read more

Stay away from this store located at 4430 East Ray Rd unless you want your intelligence insulted by the manager, Mackenzie Mears, lying straight to your face! My wife and I recently visited the store to return some cologne she purchased for Valentine's day. Upon attempting to do so, we were told that she could not return it there, and that we had to return it where it was purchased. When I asked her why, she said because they do not carry the same items at their store as the other store... Hmmm...Okay...on the shelf behind the register were 3 boxes of this EXACT brand and size! When I brought that to attention and asked again why we could not return it, she hesitated and said, we have a different distributor. Hmm...Okay...well the cologne was purchased at a store located less than 2 miles from this one. My wife worked for CVS for many years, and they do not use different "distributors" for the same type of product, especially stores in the same geographic servicing area. The lies became very clear as not policy or fact, but a half a$$ attempt to prevent her store taking a return that would result in a negative way on her daily balance! It's called business and customer service. It is part of the retail process. We will never spend another cent in this location, the blatant disrespect and attempted deception of Mackenzie Mears is far from what we as customers expect and deserve! Pulled up to drive thru pharmacy, had a small line of cars, but they we're moving pretty quickly. When i pulled up to the window Meghan was still standing there with the phone to her ear and ready to be of service. We got to talking while she was getting my prescription ready, and can i say Meghan had to be one of the most customer oriented people i have encountered in a very long time. She was so friendly and personable. It was such a pleasure to interact with Meghan. There needs to be many more of her in customer service, no one has any customer service skills anymore. Today I was speaking to my mum about her day and she brought up a situation that I felt the need to get involved in because well it's my mum. Today she visited the pharmacy to pick up a prescription, she was picking it up on the days they said it would be ready as it is on automatic refill status. The pharmacist there, Leanne. Would not give my mother her last name which is fine because I'm thinking there is one pharmacist there that is 24 years of age, long hair and is named Leanne. Well as a pharmacist the first word that comes to mind is a PROFESSIONAL. However Leanne proved that even a utter rude failure like her can get into positions and abuse people in the community. Leanne finds it appropriate to write in big red letters directly on top of individuals prescriptions. I figured there would be. I am not sure a computer to put such warning and notes in? I guess I am not correct because Leanne finds it funny and uses MEME vocabulary such as "red flag" to try and insinuate that my mum is abusing her medications for picking it up on the days they have it set up for the auto refill. It's saddening Leanne couldn't just have pulled her into a proper conversation about her concerns and instead went about this situation like a 16 year old spreading gossip. When questioned about the manager she acted smug and justified and told my mum to leave the store. Disgraceful conduct. Leanne, I would like to know. How many others in the community of Ahwatukee are you abusing? read more

I've had to call a few times to get an prayed status for my daughter's medication and each time I am met with rude customer service. The pharmacy technician answering the phone is rude and disrespectful. Definitely does not belong in healthcare and should consider a new field. read more

The people who work at this store are top notch! The upper management of CVS Corporation denies them the personnel needed to run a popular pharmacy. Coming home from the hospital and stopping to pick up a prescription sent by the hospital hours before, and then to be told if I want the Rx today I am welcome to sit and wait for two hours because the pharmacist has a gigantic number of prescriptions to fill, is outrageous and Certainly Not the fault of the very hard-working pharmacist and staff. Fewer full-time staff means more bucks for the executives and customers be damned. read more

Call the store before you get prescriptions. Know the hours! I have been a lifetime Walgreens pharmacy customer. My new employer health care uses CVS pharmacy. I was forced into change, but change is the only constant so I went with it. It took me forever to learn the pharmacy closes early on the weekend. I don't know if it is a Covid thing or not but they were never open when I needed. Anyway I eventually found out they were open later during the week, and I could go to the drive thru to get my prescriptions. They are always super nice at this location. Even when I lost my mind, because I am getting old they are still nice when dealing with me. Very kind! Thank you CVS! This store had a recent remodel. Looks good! Still can never find the candy aisle which is probably better for me anyway. I needed a battery recently, a tiny watch battery. I thought I would never find it, went to CVS, they had it! Yay now my 12 year old thermometer works again! It still looks brand new! Nice force of change! I like it. read more

I've been using this CVS location for three months now and I've had all positive experiences. I changed to this location because our other pharmacy always seem to be so overwhelmed, that was the location at the CVS at 48th and Chandler. And my wife even got a medication filled while she waited after she let them know that she had to catch a flight in two hours now that's great service. With all the demands put on pharmacies in the last couple of years and the lack of staffing, I really go out of my way to extend extra patience for the staff. I've gotten four different vaccines at this location. All have been prompt, courteous, and on time, when an appointment was made. read more

I think even one star is generous. 90% of the time my prescriptions are either not available, late, or filled incorrectly. Hours are inconsistent at best. With the exception of two employees the rest of the staff is just plain rude. I always try to be pleasant and understanding, however the staff is overwhelmed, I'm assuming overworked, and their frustration is apparent. I'll be finding a new pharmacy because this problem has been consistent for at least the last 9 months. read more

I have been using CVS pharmacy for over 25 years and I have tried several different locations due to moving over the years. The Ahwatukee CVS on Ray Rd and 44th St is by far the worst location for customer service. I want to be fair and let you know that there are two very nice, respectful and courteous pharmacy technicians, Louis and Nguyen. I have never had a bad experience with either of them. I actually feel bad for them having to work with their fellow associates. Pam and Michelle are by far the most rude, negative, angry and disrespectful associates who work there. Pam taking the cake for being the most miserable human I have repeatedly encountered. She is always in a bad mood and is very condescending and lacks any perfessional or people skills. every time I go in and have to deal with her it makes me wonder why she works there, she clearly hates her job. To be honest I rarely interact with her because she either ignores you or pawns you off on someone else by saying outloud in front of customers she's busy and is doing a million things. I would also like to state that I've been at this location for aboot three years now and although I don't recall her working there the whole time I'm there twice a week to get my medicine so I get to witness her behaving this way frequently. I have yet to experience a positive interaction between her and a customer or co-worker. I don't understand why she is able to continue working there, this is a customer based business and CVS has options. She needs to go. read more

Have gone to location 2 times today just to wait in the drive thru for over 20 minutes each time. Was spoken to one time saying it will be only a couple more minutes but that turned into 20. I am now leaving without my prescription that was supposed to be ready yesterday. Outrageous. read more
