She lives an hour and a half away, so this required coordination and planning. I was told the prescription would be ready on the 17th, but then kept receiving delay notifications saying there was an insurance issue. After multiple alerts, I called the pharmacy just to get clarity before having her make a long trip. I was very clear that I understood the medication couldn't be picked up until the 19th and that I was fine with that. I was simply trying to understand why I had been told the 17th in the first place. I wasn't asking for anything early or unreasonable. Instead, the pharmacist on duty was rude, dismissive, and repeatedly cut me off. I couldn't finish a sentence without being talked over. There was no effort to explain the discrepancy or acknowledge the inconvenience this caused. Being treated this way by the person in charge, while trying to avoid sending someone on a 3-hour round trip unnecessarily, was infuriating. This isn't a one-time issue. Previously, this same pharmacy did not have enough medication for a full supply and only provided a 3-day supply, then later said they could not fill the remainder due to an insurance issue. I was forced to go back to my doctor for a completely new prescription, something that is stressful, time-consuming, and completely avoidable. This pharmacy shows a clear pattern of poor communication, lack of accountability, and zero empathy. Medications are not optional, and patients should not be treated like a burden for asking reasonable questions. I would strongly caution anyone who depends on their prescriptions to consider another pharmacy.

I have been coming here several times a week for years since I live nearby, and I'd like to thank Gulliver, Ginika, and Guap for truly always bringing a positive lift to my day. I remember a few months ago my mom went into Walgreens and saw Gulliver trying to help someone at the photo kiosk while also going back and forth to deal with a long line of customers by himself, as he was the only one there. She was like, "I have no idea how he is doing all that by himself." She was struck by how hard he was working to address everyone's needs - and how despite the obvious stressors and pressure of the situation, his attitude remained calm, positive and friendly to all. I recently observed a customer being and speaking extremely rudely to Ginika, and when I got to the counter, I told her she was my now my new role model for how to remain cool, calm and collected in such a situation. I told her I would not have been able to handle that with such grace and steadiness, and that that's why I had never lasted long in customer service. She just smiled gently and said something to the effect of, "You can't let it bother you; it's never about you."
