Seems like no matter what cvs i go to, the customer service is horrible. Always a loooong line and usually 1 cashier!

Avni or Anvi, the pharmacist on duty on 2/18 has ZERO listening skills and ZERO customer services skills. A simple question still remains unanswered. She thought she would just throw "its CA law" at me and I would go away. i asked for the specific CA statute she was referncing and she said she didn't know it--she was quoting a statue that she doesn't know....just how incompetent is that? She further opined that "I am too busy" for this. PATHETIC CUSTOMER SERVICE. Calls to CVS in Rhode Island and the CA Board of Pharmacy may get them to find someone to answer my question. This review is mainly for the photo department. Came to print pictures, something that would've take 30 minutes at the most took me 1 hour and 45 minutes. Supposedly the system was slow. I had to restart my order 3 times at the kiosk after editing them. Every time I was ready to check out the computer kiosk froze, after the 3rd try it Finally went through. I chose the one hour print option cause the pictures come out looking nicer than printing them at the kiosk and also I don't have to wait a whole hour unless there's orders ahead of me which is rare. Well this time around sure enough I waited 45 minutes. None of the employees which were all guys btw knew what was going on with their photo printer as photos weren't getting printed; each employee was giving me a different explanation when I asked what was going since nothing was printing. Then they call the "manager" Chris which is a poor excuse of a manager cause he couldn't resolve anything either. They just keep walking back and forth and ignoring me saying they'll see what's going on with the printer or going back to the register to keep ringing up customers. They were more concern helping the customers in the line that helping people waiting in the photo area. I wasn't the only one there having issues. Then he comes back to the computer printer "trying" to figure out what to do so finally he resets it and of course all of the orders got deleted and he said I need to resubmit my order!! Like are you serious? Spend another 25 minutes editing and choosing what to print?? Then he just says to go ahead and print them at the computer kiosk printer and that he ensures me they'll print our just as the same as the one hour option. I told no they won't cause it's not the first time I print photos here and I know how different they look. He says give it a try. Well here I go and sure enough pictures didn't come up the way I wanted. They all had the white border even though I chose the no border option and they were in glossy paper cause that printer doesn't have the option for matte paper! Then he just says See you got your prints and I just told him that what a poor customer service that I wasn't satisfied with my order and the waste of time! Then he says well I don't know when our one hour printer will be back up but that I could submit my order again (for the 4th time) and that he will print them out once the printer is running again and if I want too to paid for the order ahead is time and he will call me to pick them up. Wow! So after all of the inconvenience I had to still pay for them instead of offering them for free or a discount price, something just so your customer can be happy but not in this case! read more

Dropped off a prescription and was told it would take 2 hours to fill. I called in late to work so that I could pick up my prescription after the 2 hours. When I arrived to pick up the prescription, I was told that it would be another 10 minutes. After 20 minutes, I went inside and after waiting in line AGAIN, the cashier said that they were just finishing up counting the prescription and to wait a few more minutes. Obviously the cashier lied to me when she said they were finishing up the count because 10 minutes later the pharmacist informed me that the medication was not even in stock. To say the least, I am disgusted by the way I have been treated this evening . read more

This is by far the worst pharmacy I have even dealt with. The employees are lazy and incompetent. It is so bad, that I moved to a pharmacy 15 minutes further away, just so I could get decent service. In the five months I had them, they screwed up my prescriptions five times. This included over-charging me and mixing up my medications. To top it off, they always have a line, with three or four employees always in the back doing god knows what. There are so many options, use someone else and save yourself a headache. read more

I am a customer of the pharmacy and now 2 major complaints with CVS pharmacies. My husband has cancer. They were to fill a prescription provided by San Antonio Regional Hospital. The prescription was to be ready the following day at 10AM. I went in the following day at 11AM and the prescription was not ready. It was for an over the counter medication that a staff member could have taken from the self put in a bag and the prescription would have been filled. I was livid. Today I take in a prescription for pain medication. They did not have it in stock so they sent me to Target CVS on Foothill. Target CVS did not have it in stock and sent me back to CVS on Haven since they were the original prescribers of the medication. CVS Pharmacy clerk still did not want to fill the prescription until I insisted. This prescription will not be ready until after 3PM Monday. DO NOT GO TO CVS. THEY ARE NOT LIKE THEY WERE WHEN THEY WERE SAVON DRUGS. read more

I've been using this CVS pharmacy for over 7 years and I've hated just about every minute of it. The drive-thru line is extremely slow, I often spend 30 minutes or more waiting. They continuously run the insurance incorrectly and want to charge me a co-pay when I don't have one. And they always have to order my son's medication so we have to wait longer for it, even though he has been using the same medication for 4 years now. But last night was the worst experience I've had and the lack of customer service was appalling. The only reason I've continued to use this location is because it's close to home and work but mostly for the drive-thru pharmacy. Due to my son being in a wheelchair, the drive-thru is very convenient for me. Last night though was the last straw. I got in the drive- thru line at 5:46pm and was the fourth car in line. As the car in front of me was leaving the window with their prescriptions, it turned 6:00pm (their closing time). I preceded to drive up to the window and the shade was already pulled down. I couldn't believe it. I would think they would at least wait a minute to see if any cars were there. I was so angry, I just sped off. This morning I called and asked what the policy/procedure was for the drive-thru at closing time. I was told "it depends on who is working." And "They can't keep taking cars after they are closed." I explained how I was in line at 5:46 and if I had been inside the store I would have expected to be helped since I was there before they closed. She again just said "it depends on who is working." After I pick up my son's prescriptions today, I will be transferring my family's medications to a different pharmacy. read more

This is by far the worst pharmacy I have ever been to, if I could have have given it zero stars I would have. The wait time at the drive through is ridiculous and when you finally get to the window you get to deal with rude, incompetent people that talk to you like you're an idiot. During one visit I was told I needed consultation on a prescription I was picking up for my disabled mom, when I told them that was unnecessary since my mom has been taken the medicine for many years, they said I HAD to speak with her when I declined again they stated I would not be given the medicine and they would put it back on the shelves unless I spoke with the pharmacist. I then had to wait for at least 5 minutes for the pharmacist to finish what she was doing, only for her come over and immediately start rudely questioning me on why my mom needed the medicine, who her doctor was, how long she had taken it, and so on. When I called to complain I was told the pharmacist was a "floater" and there was nothing they could do. I have also experienced medicines not being ready when I was told they were and lost refills due to them improperly inputting the scripts in the computer. I would never recommend this pharmacy to anyone. read more
